Dr. Mitchell Miller is a native South Floridian and grew up in Boca Raton. Although his dental career took him to other areas, he is extremely happy to be back in Palm Beach County helping to make children smile.

He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida where he met his wife, Samantha. Venturing out of the warm weather, he moved up north to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Howard University in Washington, D.C. He furthered his advanced education by completing a general practice residency (GPR) at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey. After being away for a few years, he couldnt wait to get back to his roots.

Dr. Miller and his wife moved back to South Florida and not even a week went by before they adopted a puppy; their Jack Russell named Jarvis. He worked as a general dentist, but quickly realizing his love for pediatrics and passion for fostering a positive dental experience for children early on, Dr. Miller decided to pursue his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Miller loves all things ocean, including fishing and scuba diving. When not practicing dentistry, he can be found golfing, playing softball, and spending time with his daughter. Dr. Miller is a proud UCF Knight and as a born and bred Floridian, he is an avid fan of the Dolphins, Heat and Marlins, but also has ties to the Patriots, Celtics and Red Sox. Dr. Miller is looking forward to making going to the dentist a fun and enjoyable experience for you and your child!

Douglas D. Durbin, DMD, MSD, is the President and Owner of Kentucky Orthodontics & Invisalign, with 7office locations across Kentucky. Dr. Durbin has been in practice for over 35 years and has always offered the latest techniques and technologies to improve his patients oral health and the appearance of their smiles. He is a fellow of both the College of Dentistry at the University of Kentucky and the World Federation of Orthodontics. Dr. Durbin experienced his undergraduate education at the University of Kentuckyin Lexington, KY. From there, he continued his education and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)degree from the College of Dentistry at UK. After receiving his doctorate, he served as Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps for nearly 4years. Once his military service was complete, he returned to the University of Kentucky for his Master ofScience in Dentistry (MSD) as a specialist inOrthodontics. After receiving his MSD, he pursued and attained AmericanBoard Certification and further education and training to become a certified Invisalignprovider. Dr. Durbin recognized the value of continuing his education earlyin his career, therefore he has undergone additional training indentofacial orthopedics, surgical orthodontics, lingual orthodontics, TMJ (TMD) treatment,Invisaligntreatment, orthodontic technology, cosmetic correction procedures, plusorthodontic diagnosis, treatment, and lifelong or permanent retention.

Dr. Durbin is passionate about educating others and working alongside his peers to advance the field of orthodontics. He has lectured to leading orthodontists on a national scale regarding headgear-free dento-facial orthopedic Herbst appliance therapies and has made network television appearances to discuss various topics in orthodontics. As a recognized authority on dento-facial orthopedics, Dr. Durbin has contributed greatly to the field through his 12-year research study of lifetime efficacy and benefits of fixed bonded invisible wire retainers, as well as his published study for theJournal ofClinical Orthodontics. His work, leadership, and expertise has also added significantly to the American Association of Orthodontists, which supports orthodontic research and fellowship worldwide.

Dr. Maria Portilla-Feigenbaum was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Puerto Rico. She is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry and completed her post-graduate degree in pediatric dentistry at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Later Dr. Portilla accomplished an additional two years of graduate studies in hospital dentistry at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans.

Dr. Portilla is licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, and Puerto Rico. She has practiced pediatric dentistry in Coral Springs for over 15 years. She has in the past been part of the faculty at NOVA Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine as well as co-chair of the pediatric dentistry program at Broward Dental Research Clinic.

Of utmost importance for Dr. Portilla is to enjoy life to its fullest along with her husband, family and friends. She loves to have fun and make people laugh! Her hobbies include fashion and interior design, travelling and dancing, therefore, is befitting her favorite television show is So You Think You Can Dance!

Dr. Kallis began his path towards dentistry at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with the highest honors. He then ventured up to chilly Boston to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he realized that orthodontics allowed him to combine his interests in patient care and problem-solving. He completed his orthodontic residency training at Nova Southeastern University, where he trained at the same time as Dr. Miller! After graduating from residency, he practiced in the New York City metro area treating many families and connecting with the community.

Dr. Kallis returned to South Florida to make an impact in the community that he loves. As a Board Certified Orthodontist, he is committed to providing the highest quality of care for his patients and takes pride in seeing his patients have beautiful and healthy smiles. He is invested in building relationships in the community, with patients, local organizations, and other dental care providers.

When hes not straightening teeth, Dr. Kallis enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, spending time with his family, binge-watching a good Netflix series, boating, and attending sporting events. Dr. Kallis welcomes all new patients and looks forward to treating all of your familys orthodontic needs!
