At CDB, we are proud that our Registered Dental Assistants are also licensed by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners to place protective dental sealants, monitor patients receiving nitrous oxide and perform coronal polishing (part of the 'cleaning'). Not all RDAs can boast these certifications, so know that your loved one(s) are in the hands of experienced, licensed, caring experts
Antoniais a Registered Dental Assistant who is relatively new to our team, but definitely not to working with children. Antonia has a quiet way of helping children of all ages feel welcome and comfortable in our office. As the Lead Dental Assistant, Antonia is also credited with ensuring the highest level of cleanliness (very frequently above and beyond what is 'required'), infection control, equipment maintenance, as well as keeping the rest of us (doctor, hygienist(s) and assistants) coordinated and moving smoothly throughout the day. In addition to her dental assistant certification, Antonia is also certified by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners to perform coronal polishing and to place protective dental sealants. (And although there really isn 't a certification for it, Antonia must be recognized for being able to fix just about anything!!!!)
Jackieis a Registered Dental Assistant who also is new to our team but not to pediatric dentistry.... We know her previous position misses her but we're grateful she decided to join pediatric dentistry full time! Jackie's sweet smile and attention to detail make her a perfect fit for our clinical team and she has fit seamlessly from her first day.She is extra talented at being able to takex-rays on even the most hesitant children.She embraces the CDB philosophy: treat every child as our own. We know that you and your child will see her sparkling, friendly eyes and immediately feel more at ease and her soothing voice will seal the deal on any anxiety your child may have thought they had!
Payment for professional services is due at the time dental treatment is provided. Dr. McQuade will provide a treatment plan to you and make every effort to fit your timetable and budget, and gives your child the best possible care. We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards and most major credit cards. And alsoCareCredit.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND that we file dental insurance as a courtesy to our patients. We do not have a contract with your insurance company, only you and your employer do. We are not responsible for how your insurance company handles its claims or for what benefits they pay on a claim. We can only assist you in estimating your portion of the cost of treatment. We at no time guarantee what your insurance will or will not do with each claim or how much they will pay. We also can not be responsible for any errors in filing your insurance. Once again, we do our best to be as accurate as possible and we will file claims as a courtesy to you.
Fact 1 NO INSURANCE PAYS 100% OF ALL PROCEDURESDental insurance is meant to be an aid in receiving dental care. Some pay more, some pay less. The percentage paid is usually determined by how much you or your employer has paid for coverage, or the type of contract your employer has set up with the insurance company. We will do our best to help determine what your benefits are and how much it will help pay toward your child's treatment.
Fact 2 BENEFITS ARE NOT DETERMINED BY OUR OFFICEYou may have noticed that sometimes your dental insurer reimburses you or the dentist at a lower rate than the dentists actual fee. Frequently, insurance companies state that the reimbursement was reduced because your dentists fee has exceeded the usual, customary, or reasonable fee (UCR) used by the company.
A statement such as this gives the impression that any fee greater than the amount paid by the insurance company is unreasonable, or well above what most dentists in the area charge for a certain service. This can be very misleading and simply is not accurate.
Insurance companies set their own fee schedules, and each company uses a different set of fees they consider allowable. These allowable fees may vary widely. Fees are set by the insurance company so they can make a net 20%-30% profit and how much the employer chooses to pay for the plan.
Unfortunately, insurance companies imply that your dentist is overcharging, rather than say that they are underpaying, or that their benefits are low. In general, the less expensive insurance policy will use a lower usual, customary, or reasonable (UCR) figure.
Your child's preventative treatment and restorative treatment are recommended based on what your child's needs are. Not what insurance will or will not cover. Factors such as age, diet, home care are things that are considered when making recommendations as well as the AAPD guidelines on the standard of care for children's dental treatment. For these reasons you can rest assured your child will be recommended exactly what they need and always the latest technology within the standard of care.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, please keep us informed of any insurance changes such as policy name, insurance company address, or a change of employment so we can keep your records accurate and assist you in using your benefits.

It's always great going here. My daughter is always comfortable. The staff is very friendly and compassionate as well as Dr. McQuade. They take their time and really listen to the children.

So glad we have such a knowledgeable pediatric dentist in our community. Dr. Mcquade is the best. She is gentle and very skilled. My kids love going to her fun office, it has great decorations and movies. Everyone of the office staff members are so professional and good with children. Thank you!

Best children's dentist in our area hands down! My son was terrified of dentist from a horrible past experience, but Dr. McQuade took her time and explained everything to him before looking and made it fun!! We will be using her office permanently.

Had our first visit and normally I don't review based off of one experience but.... This is the exception! My very brave 4 year old and very brave but fearful and anxious when it comes to anyone with the title Doctor, 9 year old, had appointments today. There really are no words for this God send. I can't call my 9 year old anxious anymore. They helped her to completely relax and EVEN enjoy her visit. I love this place both my girls walked out with smiles. When you've been through what we've been through, you HAVE to appreciate people like the ones at this office. Brenda was especially nice and patient and I'm so grateful!

Amazing experience every time! Great environment specifically designed for kids to make them feel comfortable. Definitely NOT a scary dentist's office like we all know from our childhood. Dr McQuade and the entire staff are extremely friendly and work diligently to make sure patients and parents have a pleasant experience.

Dr. McQuade is the most knowledgeable pediatric dentist I've had the pleasure of meeting. She is so sweet with the kiddos and diagnosed both of my daughters with lip and tongue ties that needed revisions. She was able to save my sanity with nursing a tied newborn by performing the procedure quick and carefully. My oldest daughter is now able to speak CLEARLY after 6 months of failed speech therapy. This woman is truly a Godsend

Never met people more friendly than they are. My daughter was treated as though she were the only one there (each visit, not just one). She feels special and proud when she leaves. Dr. McQuade truly seems to care and love the kids. She is great with my daughter who happens to have Down Syndrome. I have heard she is great with kids of all needs.
