Dr. Steven DeLisle is a board-certified Dentist Anesthesiologist. After graduating from dental school at the University of Washington, Dr. Delisle enrolled in an Anesthesia residency at Loma Linda University, where he treated over 2,000 special needs and pediatric patients under general anesthesia.
Dr. Steven DeLisle DDS was selected from all pediatric dentists in Las Vegas to join the team at Foundation for Positively Kids. The Foundation for Positively Kids is a non-profit established to treat medically fragile children, foster children, and special needs children at the Child Haven Dental Clinic.
Dr. Salar grew up in Los Angeles, California. After earning his bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from UC Berkeley, he attended Temple University School of Dentistry where he earned his dental degree. Immediately after graduating, he attended the prestigious NYU/Bellevue hospital program where he received his specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry.
Upon finishing his education, Dr. Salar moved to the Great Sierra Nevada area where he has since served infants, children, and adolescents at our pediatric dental office in Las Vegas. Although Dr. Salar emphasizes preventive dental care, conservative dentistry and home maintenance, his extensive sedation and surgical experience in performing full mouth oral rehabilitation have established him as the go-to pediatric dentist for children requiring advanced complex treatment plans, special needs, anxiety, and systemic health conditions.
Dr. Okuda was born and raised in Las Vegas. He graduated from Chaparral High School and then received a bachelors degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Between his college years, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in the Japan Sapporo Mission. In 2009 he began his dental training at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, receiving a Military Healthcare Professional Scholarship, and graduating in 2013. After dental school he served as a dentist, with the rank of Captain in the United States Air Force. He spent his first year in the military completing an advanced general dentistry residency at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska. He and his family then went on an overseas tour stationed at Yokota Air Base in Japan where he practiced general dentistry from 2014-2017. Upon the completion of his military service, Dr. Okuda decided to pursue his true passion for orthodontics at Jacksonville University in Florida.
Dr. Okuda is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists, and is working to become Board Certified in Orthodontics, which is the highest certification in our field.
Dr. Okuda and his wife, Melissa, have 3 beautiful children. He enjoys being active and participating in activities such as surfing, snowboarding, and soccer. He spends most of his free time being a father with his wonderful kids, supporting them in their various extracurricular activities.

This dentist office is new for my son. With that being said, the first time I took him he got x-rays done. The second time we went I received a text stating my son needed a checkup. I made the appointment Thursday! I got a call Friday and a voicemail asking to confirm my appt. I work and I just didn't get the time to call them back. I went to our appointment as planned Monday at 4pm I walked thru the door at 3:45 and the woman told me because I did not confirm it, it was cancelled. I had my 2 year old with me and she was telling me I would have to wait until 4:30. WHAT? WHY?! Like what is going on here?! This makes absolutely no sense and this was my second time coming here. And the front desk lady was like you can reply to the text message and I was like what text?! I never got a text. This place is a one star childs dentist office.

The best way to describe this place is by saying they run under a multitasking on steroids culture. Zero quality of care. The female dentist didn't even look at the X-ray. We must have been the last patient because she already had her foot out the door. We were there early, they were running late, yet it's my daughters care that was treated as inconvenient. The STAFF is nice. But the dentist's quality of care is not a priority.

We had an appointment for a few weeks, the day before the appointment I get a call stating that if I don't call them back within the hour to confirm they would give away our appointment. This was super unprofessional since most places use a text to confirm system and telling someone they have an hour to respond is ridiculous. We're taking our business elsewhere.

I've been coming to this place for years. Depending on the dentist the service can be so-so. I have finally decided to switch to a different doctor. The wait times can be ridiculous. They're quick to get you in for the X-rays but for the doctor to see your child and then do the dental work takes forever. You usually see one doctor with about 5 patients hoping around. The scheduling is the worst thing there! They always say they're going to call for any follow up treatment and they never do. I had called after 2 weeks of not hearing from them and they would transfer me to the scheduling department and no one answers so you leave a message and even then no one calls you. After a month I got through to someone and scheduled something. Weeks later I get a call about scheduling my daughters appointment. I told The lady I finally got through to someone to schedule that so no need. Do to their lack of follow ups on scheduling, by the time they get to you, they're 2 months out on bookings. I will never come back here again. Run while you can.

My children had a great experience with Dr. Delisle. He was very gentle and patient with both of my kids. Dr. Delisle explained the work that needed to be done on their teeth. He also told me to call anytime if my kids had any pain or discomfort before their next visit.

Dr Steven Delisle is an amazing dentist he put me to sleep to get my wisdom teeth extracted . I had a very pleasant experience with the dentist and his staff. He explained the procedure to me very clearly and was very knowledgable . Great experiernce and Amazing result.

Staff at the front was very kind and helpful even though I was late for my kids appointment. Doctor Delisle was patient and didn't rush us along like other places I have gone to. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you so much you his are the best

I was watching TV in Univision. I hear that that Children's Dentistry was offering free dental emergency care to all the parents that were laid off due to COVID19. I called the office and they were able to see me the following day. To my surprise it was Dr. Delisle (The owner) who helped my daughter. He was very kind, professional and very knowledgeable and was able to help my daughter with the dental pain she was feeling. He also prescribed some medication for the pain. He was the only doctor who was offering free service to all the parents that were laid off due to COVID19. Last week, somebody called me to make sure everything was ok with my daughter and scheduled her for this past Friday. Once again, Dr. Delisle helped my daughter, WOOOW what an amazing service and professionalism from Children's Dentistry!! To me this is when you know that a doctor truly cares about the community and loves what he does! Dr. Delisle, thank you so much for the free work and PLEASE continue with your generosity. You are an example of all of the doctors in Nevada. I thank you in behave of all the people you helped and keeping helping
