Dr. Maria Carmela Guevara-Arreza, also known as Dr. G, as her staff and patients call her, has been setting the highest standards of excellence in pediatric dentistry since 1995. She earned her dental degree from the University of the East College of Dentistry in the Philippines before completing specialized post-graduate training, and earning her certification in pediatric dentistry, from the New York University College of Dentistry. An esteemed member of the dental community, Dr. Guevara-Arreza has been a Clinical Fellow, Faculty Advisor and Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University. She has been certified by the American Dental Association Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations as well as the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners. And she is an active member in many leading dental organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association (ADA) and the Maryland State Dental Association (MSDA).

Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Easy to schedule appointments. My kids actually enjoy going to the dentist.

I used to take my 3 year old to Severn Dentist off of blue water Blvd my son would always cry every single visit. Back in September they referred me to get my sons teeth taken out other office kept denying to hold it off and my son was in pain) every visit my son is comfortable and smiling. Even today he went in and was sleep, the dentist was patient with him and still cleaned his teeth while he was sleeping. I love this office for my son. I appreciate you all

I love how good they are with kids. Very professional and very good with children. I was not happy with their other dentist because of the issues with the work they did on my wifes teeth so when they refered us to this place I swore I would not go back to that other dentist. I will continue to bring my boys here as I am a very satisfied withe their work.

I've been going to this dentist for atleast 4 years now and the pass 2 times going to the dentist has been my best experience going to a dentist facility I highly recommend this dentistry because of the loving staff and the amazing dentist

The office is neat and clean.This is my daughter first official visit for dental check up and cleaning.Dr.G and the hygienist do a very good job to my baby.She never cry while doing the cleaning.The hygienist and the doctor handle my baby very well with care

If you want bad service, an ignorant receptionist, and dentist who is just as arrogant and doesn't really care about your kid and only the $$ this is the place for you! My son has had a decaying tooth since our initial visit 4 months ago. They told me it needs to be extracted, I've returned 2 times since for "follow ups" and they have YET to schedule the percedure at the hospital. My sons tooth is now INFECTED with NO date one schedule YET. If you hate your insurance company and your kids best well being isn't in mind, this office is the perfect office for your needs. We have since hired a much better dentist who's receptionist is way nicer, the dentist is a much better listener, and is much more friendly. The dental assistant want nice though, my son liked her.

Exceptional service for a Pediatric Dental office. Dr. G really takes the time to interact and get to know her patients. Everyone should trust that Children's Dentistry provides the best care for your child's oral health. :)

Very unprofessional. Will legit pull out a tooth while holding a 1 year old down..... traumatic I say yess. Let's not give children an early fear of the dentist. Very bad taste

When I took my grandson to his dental appointment at Children's Dentistry At Odenton, the staff was very friendly and efficient. The dental assistants were very good with making my grandson feel at ease. Dr. G was very patient and caring with my grandson.

This rating is based on the experience with the front desk. The technicians were great, and I have had very little experience with the actual dentist. After a missed appointment (I know, my bad), I inquired about our missed appointment fee. Since I showed up only one hour late and it was our first missed appointment, the receptionist said our fee would be waived (Great customer service, I would say). On our rescheduled visit my partner took in our child and was charged a $70 missed appointment fee. When I went in to inquire, I told the receptionist (different than the one that had helped me before) that our fee had been waived since it was our first missed appointment. She then asked for "proof". I didn't have any proof but the word of the last receptionist, and the belief that it was a reasonable policy to waive a first-time missed appointment. I walked away cancelling my daughter's appointment, having to pay $70, and committed to find another dentistry practice that has a better front desk staff. My advice if you choose to go here (per her instructions): get everything in writing. Make an appointment, cancel an appointment, anything they promise or guarantee...get EVERYTHING IN WRITING - or they will make you feel like a liar when you can't show "proof" of what they've said.

The whole staff is amazing! We have been at this practice for about 7 years. I have three kids and they all have prefect teeth thanks to Dr G!! The front staff is fast and friendly! They recognize us as soon as we walk in! Never a wait and every 6 months I get a call, email or text reminders of thier cleaning appointments. Today I took my soon to be 3 year to get a tooth filled. I was preparing for a fight with her! But nope Dr G and her assistant were outstanding! My daughter was so comfortable!

Dr. Guevara-Arreza is an awesome Pediatric Dentist. She is very professional and attention to detail when it comes to taking care of my children's teeth. They just love her. This is the reason why we keep on coming back to her dental clinic in Odenton even though we live in White Marsh!
