Dr. Steven DeLisle is a board-certified Dentist Anesthesiologist. After graduating from dental school at the University of Washington, Dr. Delisle enrolled in an Anesthesia residency at Loma Linda University, where he treated over 2,000 special needs and pediatric patients under general anesthesia.

Dr. Steven DeLisle DDS was selected from all pediatric dentists in Las Vegas to join the team at Foundation for Positively Kids. The Foundation for Positively Kids is a non-profit established to treat medically fragile children, foster children, and special needs children at the Child Haven Dental Clinic.

Dr. Salar grew up in Los Angeles, California. After earning his bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from UC Berkeley, he attended Temple University School of Dentistry where he earned his dental degree. Immediately after graduating, he attended the prestigious NYU/Bellevue hospital program where he received his specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry.

Upon finishing his education, Dr. Salar moved to the Great Sierra Nevada area where he has since served infants, children, and adolescents at our pediatric dental office in Las Vegas. Although Dr. Salar emphasizes preventive dental care, conservative dentistry and home maintenance, his extensive sedation and surgical experience in performing full mouth oral rehabilitation have established him as the go-to pediatric dentist for children requiring advanced complex treatment plans, special needs, anxiety, and systemic health conditions.

Dr. Okuda was born and raised in Las Vegas. He graduated from Chaparral High School and then received a bachelors degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Between his college years, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in the Japan Sapporo Mission. In 2009 he began his dental training at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, receiving a Military Healthcare Professional Scholarship, and graduating in 2013. After dental school he served as a dentist, with the rank of Captain in the United States Air Force. He spent his first year in the military completing an advanced general dentistry residency at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska. He and his family then went on an overseas tour stationed at Yokota Air Base in Japan where he practiced general dentistry from 2014-2017. Upon the completion of his military service, Dr. Okuda decided to pursue his true passion for orthodontics at Jacksonville University in Florida.

Dr. Okuda is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists, and is working to become Board Certified in Orthodontics, which is the highest certification in our field.

Dr. Okuda and his wife, Melissa, have 3 beautiful children. He enjoys being active and participating in activities such as surfing, snowboarding, and soccer. He spends most of his free time being a father with his wonderful kids, supporting them in their various extracurricular activities.

This is hands down the worst dentist office I've ever seen. My son was seen a month ago and was told he had an infection in his tooth and would call me to make an appointment to handle it.....still haven't gotten that phone call and I did take him somewhere else. This place has no business even operating..:not to mention, they have zero bedside manner and don't know how to treat children.

Never ever again! Steven DeListle was rude, arrogant, aggressive, and accusatory. My daughter and granddaughter went in as my grand daughters first dental appointment. She was crying because she says he's mean, my twenty five year old daughter is insulted and scared that he was going to start verbally assaulting her. Made complaint with insurance company and with any board of ethics or proffessional institution I can find. This little man is paranoid and delusional, unprofessional, agressive and arrogant. I have never had such a horrible experience in my life. Of course we are never going back and I will be telling my grand daughters teacher and classroom mom's here in boulder city and everyone else I can find. Most demeaning experience we have ever had, I am embarrassed for him.

1. Lack of distancing and barrier. 2. One of the staff was recovering from an illness and showed up from work. 3. Witness that same staff cough to their bare hands, place it their pocket, touch items around the clinic, and wore gloves without washing their hands. 4. Supervisor walks all over the place including towards my child without any PPE just to discuss paperwork with the staff that's assigned to my child. 5. This facility showed bare minimum concern of the COVID-19. The whole time I was observing all the fails, had to hold myself from screaming at them. I took my children to another facility to witness hospital type PPE. As much as I enjoy recommending my local businesses. This clinic isn't one of them.

Staff was horrible, Mexican with fake eyelashes was not going to allow me back with my daughter who has a medical condition. The dentist of the week was there and did not give my daughter a propper cleaning. Will NEVER go back.

Had an appointment at 10 am, showed up at 950, by 1015 they still weren't even open yet. Very unreliable, we will definitely not be coming back

This place is completely unreliable and unprofessional. My husband and I scheduled a dentist appointment in February 2018 for my 5 year-old son with ASD. We waited a month for his appointment, and he was seen on March 3rd. Because of the amount of work that needed to be done, and also because of his ASD, we knew he would have to be put under general anesthesia. That was the recommendation of the dentist, and we left the office and were told that a referral would be sent to the surgery center. Well, we never got a phone call. After calling the office and leaving several voice messages, we ended up calling the surgical center directly, and they never received a referral for my son. We finally got a call back from this office, and we were told that we would need to go in to the office in person to pick up the referral. Every time we stopped by, their office was closed. I got another phone call from this location, but it wasn't for he referral. They wanted me to schedule a 6-month checkup for my son. Unbelievable! I expressed my frustration with the gentleman on the phone, and he said that he would just email me the referral right away. We never got an email from them. At the end of September, I got a phone call from my son's school because his teeth were bothering him again. That day, I left another voice message with this office (which says they'll return within 24 hours, by the way), pleading for the referral. It's been 3 weeks, and they still haven't returned my call. After I left the message, I just decided to take my son to a different dentist. We ended up going all the way to Summerlin Pediatric Dentistry from Boulder City. It was very much worth the commute! They got my son an appointment very early the next morning. The staff were well-trained and equipped to treat my autistic son, they prescribed him antibiotics for his infection, and he'll be having surgery tomorrow to get everything taken care of (altogether, this took 3 weeks, which is way better than 7 months). The 4 back molars that just needed fillings and crowns back in March will now need 2 (and possibly 4) extractions. In hindsight, I should've taken my son to a different dentist a lot sooner, but I was hoping that this office would be professional and follow through with getting my son the help he needed. It's obvious that I don't recommend this dentist, and I really hope that this review helps other parents (especially those with special needs children) avoid a similar mess.

This place has the worst customer service. Booked an appointment for my daughter. They called back the morning of her appointment day and said they couldn't see her because of an insurance issue. Got my insurance on the phone on 3 way - insurance company says everything is fine, what information do you need to move forward.... lady from dentist says I can't help you, you have to call our third party company to clear this up. I said can you get them on 3 way so we can keep my daughters appointment. She said she isn't allowed to call them, she can't help me and my daughters appointment is canceled. Seriously, awful.
