Dr. Brendaliz Bristol-Mrtir, an accomplished pediatric dentist, is the heart of our practice. After earning her doctorate in general dentistry from the School of Dentistry, University of Puerto Rico, Dr. Bristol did a General Practice Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She then returned to Puerto Rico where she completed a second post-doctoral program in Pediatric Dentistry. During her pediatric dental residency, Dr. Bristol was the chief resident and worked in different areas of the hospital including the operating room, emergency room, anesthesia department, internal medicine department, orthodontic department and dental clinic. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentists and is an active member in many leading dental organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She actively attends to continue education seminars to stay up to date with new dental techniques to better treat her patients and family.
Dr. Bristol is a warm, vibrant person who is passionate about dental health. She loves children and understands the bond between child and parent. This understanding enables her to develop a partnership between herself, the parent and the child dedicated to the best oral health possible.
Dr. Bristol will work with you to alleviate your childs fear, answer your questions and discuss the different dental treatment options for your child. Together, you can decide on the best treatment plan.
If you are the parent of an anxious or dentist shy child, South Jersey Pediatric Dental is the place for you. We are one of the only dental offices in the South Jersey area who offers nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation to help children through their dental experience.

Dr. Jay Patel began his education in New Jersey at Rutgers University on an academic scholarship. From there, he enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and was exposed to many specialties in the dental field, but none drew his interest as much as anesthesiology. He continued his post-graduate education at NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn and trained at a Level 1 trauma center. During this time, Dr. Patel completed over 1500 cases involving all levels of anesthesia and treated a broad spectrum of patients; including those with complex medical histories.

Sweet doctor but do NOT go to her for tongue and lip revisions. My heart aches for my son having to go through a second revision just for it to be performed extremely incorrect. please do not continue offering this service until you have actually learned to how to fully release a tie. anyone looking for a good doctor go to scott siegel in nyc, worth the trip and is actually trained in tethered oral ties. 1200 down the drain, these people are thieves. i regret even going here. i should have went to dr scott siegel in NYC to begin with. he is worth the trip and doesn't even cost as much as they do.

The Dr and Staff at SJPD are second to none. They are so incredibly kind and professional to my family. My youngest had to have extensive dental work done. They smoothly came up with a solution that no other offices were able to provide which gave myself comfort. The options they provide: laser correction, for cavities is so amazing. They do not allow for old fashioned traumatizing experiences to occur. My boys have NO hesitation or fear of coming to the dentist thanks to the staff. So grateful for them. The office is immaculate.

4 years ago I came to this office after experiencing horrible pediatric dental care from a different dental office. My daughter suffers from anxiety and Dr. Bristol did not jump to judge her like most do and took her time with my daughter. She knew how to calm her down and got the job done. I bring my two girls now every six months because of how amazing she and her staff are. Trust me do not waste your time going somewhere else. This office is worth your time and your children will be soooo happy, my girls are!!

I have been bringing my two daughters here for the last two years. Dr Bristol is amazing with my girls as well as incredibly knowledgeable and always explains things perfectly! Her staff is always so sweet and helpful! My girls willingly go with them and never fight me for their appts. Highly recommend them to anyone needing pediatric dentist.
