A great place to go, these ladies are wonderful with children and most of all they are great at what they do. Thank you for all your hard work

If you don't want your child to be traumatized of the dentist do NOT go here. The place is very dirty. After the dental hygienist cleaned my 3yo's teeth, it took a whole hour before the dentist came in. She tried selling me unnecessary work filling "cavities" that didn't need to be filled and capping chipped teeth when they should have just been filed down(much cheaper and efficient) (I got second opinions from other dentists after seeing her)

We chose specifically a Children's Dentist to minimize the anxiety my son has about the dentist. The hygienist that helped was counter productive to that reasoning and should not be working with children. We will not be back.

DO NOT GO HERE! I came in once and was told my son had cavities came back months later and was told he didn't have any at all. Had I followed through after the first appointment I would have been charged for something he did not need. Most recently, I forgot to cancel my appointment due to the horrible flood that came in. I received a bill today for those services that were never rendered on that day. I called to ask specifically why was I being charged for a day of services that I never received and the receptionist could not explain. Instead she wanted to ask irrelevant questions about if my son needed more work done , & when the last time he had been seen. Let her know he would not be back anyways so why does that matter instead of answering the question of why I was charged on a day he was not seen. She told me conversation was over since he wouldn't be back lol. So I called my insurance to report and will let them handle from there. Something is not right about how they do their business. Be careful!

They are all amazing . From the front desk, to the dental assistance . They all went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was comfortable when we walked in the office to the time she got her dental work done and finished . I think I was the nervous wreck being my only child and first dental experience . I definitely would recommend taking your children there... they are AMAZING

Did a great job with my daughter! My daughter is two and is well... we know how two year olds can be very busy and demanding! The staff was all kind and they worked with me and my daughter quickly lol. I loved it! As soon as we walked in they were ready to start and the dentist didn't take long at all. Will be returning and hoping to have the same experience!

One star is too many. They bill for unnecessary services and will put children through HELL just to make more money. Dr. Candy can come off cold and rude as well. I was told my daughter had 4 cavities and that I would not be able to be in the room to get them filled. She received a "report card" with a fair rating and could not choose a toy. I felt something was wrong, as there was no tooth sensitivity and I watched the dentist poke my kid on purpose (and I checked her on it). They wanted me to pay for laughing gas out of pocket and schedule the appointment ASAP. I declined. Six months later, took her to another dentist. They found NOTHING. Teeth were perfect. Dr. Candy's staff continued to call to try and schedule the procedure. When I told them that we got a second opinion, they hung up on me before I could finish the sentence. Five years and two dentists later (one retired), my daughter STILL has never had a cavity. Just got her sealants. Do not bring your kids here!

My daughter unfortunately had to get two cavities filled. However, both the dental assistant and doctor were amazingly great with her. We've been here for at least 5 years and they do great work and service. My kids have a pleasant experience and that's what matters most. Dr. Giles and Dr. Spivey are both very great to work with.

For the parent whose son has anxiety and gave this business 1 star (and 2 angry faces...) It sounds like you may have been your sons biggest problem that day. If you could have kept your own anxiety down, it could have helped him not be anxious. Let the doctor do what she is trained to do!

I was told about Dr. Candy from a friend. We had fast professional service. Everyone was friendly & helpful. The office was clean. We were in & out. My son loved it here. She only accept private insurances. CON...parking. Its a smaller lot & if 1 or 2 people cant park...it messes it up for everybody lol. I would highly recommend Dr. Candy.

Very disappointed. I understand that covid-19 had changed all of our lives, and the way we do things. I work in a grocery store everyday... trust me I know. I didnt expect this today. They have the parents wait outside in their car while our children are getting their work done. My son suffers from severe anxiety. Thought they would be understanding and compassionate about it. I was wrong. The young man outside who checked us in said we could walk him to the room then we would "zoom"with him. As we were called to come...they refused to let me walk my child back. As I explained to them about the anxiety(again) they still said no. My son then lost it...started freaking out and crying. They saw this happening and still said no. We left. Drove from Fenton to Florissant just to turn around. We will be finding a new dentist. I had a mask, they could have given me a paper gown...something to help the situation. Very disappointed.

Dr. Candy is amazing! She is caring and gentle. My son just had a tooth extracted and there were no tears. Absolutely wonderful. We could not ask for a better dentist!

I visited this office for the first time yesterday dr. was nice professional the lady at front desk was very pleasant as well my only complaint is this is a pediatric dentist office and I do not feel it's kid friendly as my 18 month old like to explore the environment he constantly runs to areas that the dental hygienist claims is sanitation area but yet is not blocked off with safety gates or anything if you have a ped establishment with areas toddlers can not go in why would you not have any barriers or gates will be reporting it

The staff is nice and the place is clean and kid friendly, hard to get a sooner appointment and usually a long wait there. Plus you're not allowed to be in room when kid gets cavity done. Scheduled to get my 5 yr old 2 cavities filled, they did not tell me he could not eat an hour before. Appointment was at 12 so of course i fed him right before, they told me because i fed him they couldn't turn laughing gas all the way up so they could only get 1 cavity done. Laughing gas not covered by insurance so i paid out of pocket $110. Fine, but they were supposed to do both cavities at once. Instead told me to come back and pay another $110. They couldn't get him in until August. Went to St. Louis pediatric dentistry, since they had a sooner appointment and the laughing gas was only $78. After examining my kid mouth, they said the cavity was only forming and not even considered a cavity. So it seems Ms. Wakefield practice is just being money hungry.

9:38. Me- Excuse me do you know how much longer before they see us? (9am appt w/9:10 arrival) Staff: They'll call you shortly. Gets to front desk. Office worker:" I should have done a predetermination." Same conversation. "We sent a predetermination. This is your estimate." Different amount. Insurance coordinator manually calculates balance. "This is the amount you would owe today. Insurance doesn't cover laughing has. We know that for sure." 5 minutes later. "Turns out YOUR insurance does cover part of laughing gas." Balance now different again. Get to the back and now they can only see me for part of the procedure because of time & Ms. California has an attitude. Smh. Usually pleasant although billing is always off. Today was emotionally exhausting. Maybe they're used to billing Medicaid for most customers. Anthem insurance seems to puzzle them.
