Dr. Kirk Fuhriman was born and raised in Washington. This is where he developed his love for the outdoors. Dr. Kirk played basketball competitively from Kindergarten through the State Championship Game his senior year of High School. He also was a 4 year letter in Cross Country and various Track Events. Dr. Kirk attended Brigham Young University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Conservation Biology with a Zoology Minor.
Dr. Kirk was fortunate to return to Washington where he accomplished his dental training at the highly competitive University of Washington School of Dentistry. During his time at the UW, he married his sweetheart Stephanie. She went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene at Eastern Washington University where she graduated at the top of her class. During her time at EWU, Dr. Kirk and Stephanie grew to love Spokane and the wonderful people here. The two enjoy spending time with their 4 active children.
After three years of general dentistry, Dr. Kirk found his true passion was working with kids and after additional training, joined Childrens Dental Village in 2008. He was previously a clinical faculty member at EWU, is currently an active member in good standing with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Spokane District Dental Society, Washington State Dental Society, and American Dental Association. Dr. Kirk also has Operating Room privileges at Sacred Heart Childrens Hospital where he is able to perform comprehensive treatment for children when needed. Throughout his lifetime he has been energetically involved in many athletic and charitable activities ranging from hospital service, church missionary service, tutoring children and peers, coaching and refereeing youth basketball, to promoting dental education for children and their parents at local schools and other organized events.

We absolutely love all the staff at Children's Dental Village. Every time we come in we are greeted with wonderful smiles and great conversations. Thank you for making the dentist fun for my kiddos. We appreciate all of you!

My daughter is just turning 3 and we've been in twice for check ups. They really do try to make kids as comfortable as possible. Not only the kids but the parents also.

Such an awesome establishment and caring providers from the front desk to the dentists themselves. My kids look forward to their dentist appointments for the entire time in between each appointment, which means they're nailing it! We have been going here for many, many years and I highly recommend them! Quality work with heart!

My children have never seen a different doctor their whole life...my children are treated wonderfully and the staff knows us well from years of continuing to come here. The doctors are cool and seem to really care about their patients.

CDV are the best! My children grew up here. All staff and doctors make sure patients and parents are welcome everytime. Kids look forward to dental visits here. My oldest is trying to keep coming here. The waiting room is inviting and the work area is organized professionally. The private rooms are available for procedures. Your kids will love it, you will love coming here. 5-stars! Recommend!

Great experience with Children's Dental Village. Front desk staff and all the employees we had contact with were very kind and helpful. the dental office is very kid oriented and decorated so fun! both of my children were excited that this was their new dental office and actually had a great time at the dentist LOL definitely will continue using Children's Dental Village

I bring in 5 kids at a time, and a couple with behavior issues. The staff is always so kind and patient. The communication is great, they take time to answer my questions, and make sure we have everything we need. My kids love the new toothbrushes and little toys they get each time. I would highly recommend this dental office.

Excellent care and friendly staff for children. Searched for awhile for a child friendly dentist office. This is the only dental office where their patients walk in and feel comfortable. The environment is oriented toward children rather than a design of functional for an office setting. The staff is patient and understanding for children that have had negative prior experiences at other dental offices. Would recommend any of their offices to any parent with small children to start regular dental care and exam. Amazing work and great communication. Thank you guys! Keep on your path of providing excellent care for children.

We love this place, our son has been coming for years. He loves the ships wheel in the waiting room. The dental staff are extremely friendly as well. We highly recommend this place if your in the valley
