Dr. Martinez, or Dr. V, attended Marquette University, where she received her bachelors degree in Spanish before continuing on to Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee for her dental degree. Dr. V then specialized in pediatric dentistry at Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin.
After her residency, Dr. V had the opportunity to work at a pediatric dental office for four years. There, she found her passion for pediatric dentistry. With her bright smile and years of experience as a dentist and a mother, she provides compassion, comfort and care for children and families alike. Dr. V has been in the Valley since 2012, and is excited about setting up roots in Arizona.
Now, at Childrens Dental Specialty where she offers Phoenix and Scottsdale dentistry for kids, her areas of focus are education, prevention, and treatment with the latest technologies to provide exceptional care. Dr. V looks forward to building life-long relationships with your children and your family.
Professionally, Dr. V is a board-certified pediatric dentist, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. She has certifications in CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support and maintains an Arizona state sedation license.
Dr. V lives in Scottsdale. Her daughter, Tatiana, followed in her footsteps and is away in Wisconsin attending dental school at Marquette University, Dr. Vs alma mater. In her spare time, Dr. V enjoys running, reading, traveling, mentoring and spending time with family and friends. Remember to ask her what animal she had as a child on her farm!

Hi Im Miranda. I can be pretty quiet when meeting new people, but that changes once you get to know me. I love listening to music and watching true crime documentaries. I like cooking and trying new recipes, and Im open to new experiences!

Dr. V is a thoughtful and conservative dentist. I am so grateful I found her practice because I feel heard and supported in navigating my babes cavities. She has a positive energy and is patient! My 16 month old loved her so much she chased after her when she left the exam room :)

Amazing I am so happy my 6 year old had to get extractions and they were nothing but friendly since we walked in. He didn't cry at all and they made him calm through his whole experience. Wish you guys had a west side location!

I have been bringing my children here since the practice opened and Dr. V has always been so kind, gentle, and knowledgeable. I trust her completely with my kids' teeth. She followed our discussions of high school and the college search and offered advice and stories of her own college years. Now, they have become adults and we are sadly moving on, but they had one more surprise for us. A graduation gift for my son, signed by everyone, with best wishes for his future. I was blown away that they took the time to do this for him. This is a beautiful practice full of lovely people and I recommend them without hesitation.

Dr. V is amazing! My 2-year-old son chipped his tooth and we were devastated but Dr. V fixed it like magic (with a composite). I was extremely impressed with her ability to operate in my son's mouth as I cannot even get him to open his mouth for me. I highly recommend Children's Dental Specialty!

Everyone, from the moment you call to make an appointment to you walking out the door, is so incredibly nice and extremely helpful! I took my son in for his first dental appointment here and to be honest I was nervous because I didn't want him to be traumatized or scared like I was when I was a kid. The assistants and Dr. Martinez were absolutely amazing! I could not have asked for a better experience & my son walked out so excited with the biggest brightest smile! Thank you so much for being so caring and passionate about what you do!

Amazing office. Dr. V runs an incredible, high end and joy-filled practice! My son has been begging to go back to the Dentist since his first visit. Staff are amazing, and it's like a well oiled system, getting us in and out. Glad we found them.
