Dr. Ifechide Nwabueze (Dr. Ife) graduated from the University of Benin, Nigeria with a degree in dental surgery in 2003. Dr. Ife worked for two years as a general dentist in an Army hospital in Nigeria, where she specialized in pediatrics, orthodontics, restoration, oral surgery, and periodontics. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for working with children.
Dr. Ife earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in 2010. She went on to complete her Pediatric Dentistry training at the Childrens Hospital of Michigan, in Detroit. In addition to teaching undergraduates at the University Of Detroit Mercy Dental School, Dr. Ife has published numerous articles relating to pediatric dentistryand pre-veneered stainless steel crowns on primary molars. Dr. Ife is married to John, an accountant,and they have three beautiful young daughters, Ashlea, Kayla, and Emily. She enjoys running, swimming, traveling, and spending time with family.
Dr. Mary Hannawa (Dr. Mary) graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a degree in dental surgery (DDS). Dr. Mary is a general dentist. Dr. Mary is engaged to Dominic and is planning to get married next November. She has a Boston-terrier puppy named Oreo and she loves her very much. She enjoys the out-doors, traveling, cooking, baking, and reading good books when she has the time.
Dr. Caitlin Brokenshire grew up in Pennsylvania and completed her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University in Washington DC. She then returned to Pennsylvania to earn her graduate degree in Dentistry (DMD) and Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh. While in Dental school she found that she felt the happiest and most fulfilled when treating children of all abilities and adults with special needs.
With this in mind, she moved to Ann Arbor, MI to complete a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Michigan Health Systems. It was here where she received specialized training to provide dental care to adults and children with medical and developmental special needs. Afterwards, Dr. Caitlin moved to Milwaukee, WI and completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin. While in residency she gained specially training to provide care to children in a way that strives to meet their specific behavioral and developmental needs.
Dr. Gil was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He graduated with a BS in Chemistry from DePaul University in 2002. After college, he immediately went on to dental school and became a graduate of the College of Dentistry at University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006. He practiced in private practice from 2006 until 2018 as the owner of All Heart Dental in Palos Heights, IL. He found great joy in treating patients of all ages, but his passion had always been treating children and patients with special needs since his training in dentistry began over 17 years ago. When he was accepted into the pediatric dental residency at Childrens Hospital of Michigan, he accepted it as one of the greatest honors of his life. Finally, now having his chance to fulfill his passion for specializing in the care for children's oral health, he was compelled to liquidate his life's work to gain extra training as a pediatric dentist, which was completed in 2020.
He finds pleasure in being an integral part of your childs oral care by creating a fun and comfortable setting where oral care can be accomplished safely and efficiently. He feels strongly that both education and prevention are the best ways to manage childrens oral disease, and he will compassionately work with your family to make your childs dental experience a positive one.
Spending time with his two beautiful daughters and his wonderful wife of over 10 years currently fills Dr. Gils personal life. They enjoy traveling, cooking, baking, exercising and rooting on the Chicago Bears, White Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks.

The most unprofessional and ignorant clinic I've ever went to. Neither the Troy office or this location communicate with each other efficiently. The staff at this location can't even communicate within their own clinic and give conflicting information to their patients. Not once did my child and her dental needs seem like a priority for any of the staff at either location. There is no care or passion, they are clearly working there just for a paycheck. I called the regular dentist we seen that referred us and they will not be referring any patients to these two clinics. Truly pathetic.

Being a special needs (Autism) mom, it was very important for me to find a dental office that had experience working with children with disabilities (different abilities). I was so worried because my little one fears new situations/experiences and because of this he has complete meltdowns. But their staff did everything they could to make him feel comfortable and feel safe and I appreciate that. They were very polite and patient and that is such a big help to moms like me. I am a very happy mama when our daughter isn't afraid to get her teeth cleaned. I highly recommend Dr. Murriel and staff ... The dentist explained everything she was going to do to our special needs daughter,she was very patient and calm ..giving praises as our daughter seemed nervous,which in essence gave me comfort.

We have been going for years! My kids needed a lot of work the first time and Dr Ife did everything super fast. I mean like 2 crowns 4 fillings in 45 minutes. It was incredible. Since that first visit my kids have needed no other work because they keep things under control.

Ifechide is ridiculous!!! Pressures you into filling cavities that do NOT exist. Trusting her is a huge MISTAKE, your Childs teeth are ruined after this incompetent so called Dental professional gets your child at her mercy!!

This place is phenomenal i cant express enough how awesome the staff and the doctors are that are on site at this facility!! I called yesterday because my 9 year old son had recently been to another dentist that told us that he had a tooth that was dying but they wanted to wait a month to see if it fell out on its own first before extracting it. Well it broke into pieces yesterday so i called and spoke with i believe his name was Caleb who was awesome he got us in right away helped explain the new process to fill out the info on their web site and came right in. They were very accommodating took wonderful care of my son found another tooth that was about to die and do the same thing and pulled it as well before we had any more problems!!! I cant implore you enough to call and give them a chance all they do is children's dental and they are amazing at what they do would recommend to any and everyone who is looking for a children dentist to go here if possible!!!!

Absolutely the best, kind hearted, patient and passionate group of people who work here who go above and beyond for you and your children. I will never go anywhere else. The wait time is kinda high but understandable. I will also say the sign is incredibly hard to see from the road and almost miss it everything. Aside from that I am grateful I've found this place!!

It took me 3 dental offices until I was referred to this clinic. My almost 4 year old had cavities needing work up. Most of the dental offices said that she needs sedation. Made an appointment to this office and we got in as new patients. The dental assistants were great from taking xrays, explaining what to expect and from handling my daughter from start to end.Dr. Ife was very professional and explained everything before we proceeded with the procedure. Billing was better as compared to the other offices estimates. It took us 2 appointment to get everything done. My only advice to parents, you have to step out and let them do what they need to do. As a parent and with a profession in the medical field, all we want is the best for our kids. And sometimes it's that "tough love". I actually saw and appreciated how hard they work with kids in that clinic. Anyway, my daughter is happier now with better smile. Thank you so much.

We were referred here because they have a reputation for handling kids with fears, anxieties, etc. My son has ADHD and anxiety and is *VERY* nervous about needles and has never had needles in his mouth before. We knew he had some cavities and were going in for a cleaning and consultation. They managed to get an x-ray, told me he needed work on basically all of his teeth (but did not actually go over the x-rays with me, like any other dentist would have done), made a very fast and abortive attempt that escalated because they triggered his fears and completely failed to keep him calm, then gave up and told me he needed sedation in a hospital to get it done. All this in about a five minute period after being called back. They told us the wait for the hospital was about three months out and they'd call us when there was a spot available. This was around September or October of last year. The only communication we've had since is text messages to my wife reminding of needing to schedule another cleaning appt. Yet whenever she tries to call, she can't get through to anyone and they don't call back. Don't go here if you have a kid that needs careful handling. They evidently no longer live up to the reputation they have in that regard.

I called to leave an appointment for my 5 years old after I was referred to them by my dentist. After I spoke to two people and placed on hold multiple times the second person that answered the phone was extremely rude .She asked when I was referred and why I did no call them on the same date that I got their info. She said they are booked and hung up on me. I will never call their office even if is the last one standing.

My son has had cleanings done here as well as a silver cap and other fillings. Never once did we have a bad experience. It's always been amazing. Clean building, very appealing to children. The staff is all amazing. Especially the woman we saw today who was beyond beyond beyond AMAZING with talking to my son and making him so happy. We love this office and I refuse to go elsewhere! The care is professional and very caring toward children. EDIT: it's been 9 months, and my younger son has had a cleaning here. Staff still goes above and beyond and we're so patient with him. I'm so happy with this office.

My 11 year old son has been waiting months for them to schedule extensive procedures on his teeth that must be done at the hospital.. While I know there is a wait he is in severe pain and they can't even give us a eta for the procedure that he must be sedateded for ... This is so unfair to my child that is hurting With no communication or even answers from this office
