I must say the staff & Doctors are so extremely attentive and so very patient. Not only did they manage to comfort my very apprehensive 4 year old, who was actually having the dental surgery done, but somehow the managed to make sure I was also at ease. Thanks to them my little one is now more excited & less nervous about all her dental experiences. I more than recommended them for all your little ones dental surgeries!! They get ten stars!!! Awesome job! Wonderful way to care! I could go on but then this review will be very redundant.

I came on the day of my child's appointment and confirm the day before. We arrived on time and waited an 1 1/2 before getting to the back only to find out a clearance letter was needed that I was never informed about at all. The staff informed me in the back at 12pm they needed a clearance letter from his doctor that day or I would have to reschedule and keep in mind the office closes at 2pm. I was truly upset my child missed school and I missed work only for my child surgery not to be performed due to their office lack of informing me prior to appointment what was needed. Of course , same day I took the clearance letter to my child's doctor and reschedule our appointment a few days out. I received a very offensive call next day from Gregory the office manager basically stating his team did not think my child's surgery was necessary despite his dentist office referral directly. Gregory also implied I was not entitled to feel upset after me and my nervous child was inconvenienced and the surgery was not done. After this conversation I did not feel comfortable nor did I want my child to be in their hands ,so I canceled our reschedule appointment. This conduct was very unprofessional and I wouldn't want any parent to experience this behavior when you are trying to get care for your child. Lastly, there was another post from another mom beware if you do get to sedated step they may tell you that your child needs more dental work done and I would question this.

Apparently this is a pattern!!! I was told my daughter had three cavities. Instead of filling the cavities, they ended up sedating her and doing a much more invasive procedure (three silver crowns!). Immediately after that procedure was over, I was told she needed FOUR more. Really??? It didn't sound right. I decided to go to a different dentist and ask for a second opinion. The second dentist told me what I suspected! The crowns were not necessary. She had three pre-cavities (not actual cavities!) and she definitely did not need four more crowns. Please don't take your kid to this place. They just want to make money and do not have their patients' best interest at heart.

(Long review) My daughter was scheduled to this location to have crowns installed and a extraction. We settled on going the oral sedation route because I thought the IV would be too much for her. We called and made the appointment which was a little far out but that was understandable. In between the time I made the appointment until she was seen I was in constant contact with Greg at the office. Each time I called and spoke with Greg he was polite, helpful and informative. The day of the appointment my l/o was nervous and so was her father and I, as to be expected. The office was nice and clean and the nurse was very nice to us which helped a lot after reading these reviews. We didn't wait long for her to be seen. They took her vitals and explained what the next steps would be, they gave her the oral sedation and took an xray of their own to determine what was needed. To our luck the work was less extensive then the original dentist quoted. We sat with her for about 15 minutes until she was relaxed enough and they wheeled her off to the room and we were escorted to the waiting area....this part I did not like because I felt a parent should be in the room during the procedure to help comfort the child and to see what all is happening to them...however we knew this was the rule. The procedure took about 30-45 minutes and the nurse returned to provide post op care instructions. About 15 minutes after, they brought her out in a wheelchair and my fiance put her in the car. Greg also came out to make sure everything went well and informed me that if it didnt or if I had any questions to feel free to call him...which I was going to do anyway if needed. All in all her procedure went well and she was back up and running a few hours after the appointment. They also called the next day to make sure she was fine. She did however remember them pulling her teeth and that she was crying because we were not in the room which is something I think should be changed because these are babies and the dentist is already a scary place for all ages and could be traumatizing. Or they should atleast install a window for parents to sit and watch without getting in the way.

After hitting what felt like a road block, Greg did what he could to help my child. I'm so thankful for that. The young lady who now answers the phone is so much nicer and gives words of comfort unlike the previous person who had scheduled my appointment the first time I called. All of the staff that I met and worked my child today were so nice and informative. Thank you. Would 100% recommend this place to a nervous parent

Shady office staff that never answers the phone. The "operations manager" finally calls back to read x-rays and suggested a treatment plan, which included extraction. He led with a "prepare for the worst, his x-rays look pretty bad". He also attempted to diagnosis our sick son via telephone based on symptoms. I am sorry, but where did you get your PhD from? I asked my better half - I said did he immediately try to set another appointment or reschedule the appointment? When she said yes, I knew what was going on and it wasn't in the best interest of our child. Upon a second opinion, strip crowns were found to be what was medically necessary along with medicine for the smaller cavity. Referred by a place in Douglasville, Georgia. After a little research, sedation should be a very last resort. This is a cash grab. Aggressive scare sales tactics used. Don't take your children here. Get a second opinion. Our second opinion was 1/4 the cost.

Don't trust your children with them! I was referred to them by my daughters dentist to have 2 cavities filled one minor one was pretty bad. They took her back and told me she needed 7 silver caps on her teeth! And showed me X-rays on a cellphone picture saying that the other teeth were close together and it was "preventative measures" I told them to just fill the cavities that we came for, to which they told me they would either do all of them or none of them. It took 5 months to get this appointment and my daughter was complaining about this one tooth. So I told them I would come back for the others once I got a second opinion, they told me that the medicine would only work once. I again told them to just do the ones we came in for. They took my daughter back.. she came back with 7 silver caps. Total disregard to me, my child or our wishes! And I have still yet to see the actual X-rays even though I requested them! Who does not show the actual X-rays!!! They are a preying dentistry with no integrity.

We have waited several weeks for our 6 year old to be sedated for fillings. The office calls on a Thursday to go over the basic info before being sedated when the appointment is Monday. Then based on my sons medical history they want a clearance letter from his doctor. Ok, not a big deal except they want it within 24 hours. Then after calling to get the clearance letter they call back and say they are not willing to do it at all and referred us back to the original dentist. That dentist is the one who referred us to them! Very unorganized and last minute. I would be fine with them refusing the treatment if it was not last minute after waiting weeks for this appointment and taking off of work to go.

Only 3 stars bc of Dr. Lindsey and how clearly she communicates... the anesthesiologist? Definitely has horrible communication skills and seems to be in a rush . Hopefully I won't have to ever come back. Asked me a question then stopped me mid answer.. came and got me when my child was done but didn't say anything but "come on" . Definitely should work on that. Plan to wait min 2hours before even being seen.

Staff was nice but I had to wait almost two hours for my granddaughter to be seen. She was referred to this place due having two cavities and the need of sedation because of her age (4 yrs old). Well, she got sedated first and after that, the nurse came out and said she now had FIVE cavities instead of two and that she needed to get five stainless steel crowns!!??? No way such a small child is getting stailess steel crowns. I think there is another review on here from a mama bear that had the same experience I had. So beware please.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Gregory was helping from the beginning, he helped me with getting all the proper forms needed to get her surgery scheduled. His kept in contact with me up until the day of the appointment. I will say there was a bit of a wait to get an appointment but the wait was worth it, they got all the work done in an hour and a half and did an amazing job. They took care of my little one like their own and that means everything to me. Gregory even came to check in on my husband and I during the surgery. The facility was great, smelt good, clean and you can actually tell that this is a pediatric dentist. I hate when you go to a doctors office (where you know you are going to wait in the waiting room for an hour plus) and there is nothing for children, not even art on the walls. Every room in this office is amazing and I really feel like it helped my daughter calm down. It was an overall amazing experience. From the facility, to the staff it was all around a great experience which isn't normal considering its a surgery office! I will be sticking with with them from now on! 10/10 recommend!

I am so thankful to have been lead into the arms and care of Childrens Sedation Center of Atlanta. I was extremely timid about the thought of having my 4yr old sedated in general! But once I began to correspond with the staff I became at ease. We went into for my sons appointment today and I must say it was such a clean and well organized facility. The ambiance was so welcoming for children as well as for parents. They have a full staff that possess great quality service, knowledge, and care for the patient. In which I was given a thorough run down of what to me and my child should expect. I was even introduced to all of the staff that would be working hands on with my child during his time of sedation. They are truly one of a kind! My little boy was def. in great hands. Thank you so much for being such angels at work Children's Sedation Center of Atlanta ! If I could they would get a 10/10

First let me be the one to say PLEASE do not go off the reviews ! The reviews had my anxiety at all time high I promise you. Instantly walking it the office made not only me but my daughter feel very welcome. Once in the back Naomi came and explained EVERYTHING down to the T of what was going on and what the "possible" outcome can be depending on my babies X-rays. Naomi and Dr. Roh provided me with so much information as far as by daughter procedure. From everything Dr. Roh explained , her procedure was very quick and fast. He gave me further details as far as the work she had to get done, leaving my with all the answers I needed. Provided me with her aftercare treatment also because I was clueless . I want to thank you and the staff for taking wonderful care of my Skylar. We have been home for an hour after 4 extractions and she's back to her little playful self. She hasn't bleed since we left the office and was barely bleeding after the procedure. So if you want to read reviews take mine and run with it. Be very mindful that things can change depending on your child's circumstances and they only want what's best for the child. Absolutely enjoyed our visit.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. They got the wrong mama bear today!! First and foremost I am a pediatric RN and family member is a dentist where I spent my high school summers working, so safe to say I am fairly educated in the medical field. My son was to have 2 fillings done and was referred for sedation due to his age alone, he is 4. I was hesitant at first as to why the local dentist could not use the "laughing gas" and why sedation was needed so young, because he wiggles...really what small child does not. I was told I was not allowed in the room and waited in a secondary waiting room in the back. They administered the liquid Versed and had us wait 15-20 minutes. They went over the 2 fillings had me sign that treatment plan. I advised the assistant I have deep pockets in my molars so please double check this is not the case and he truly needs a filling as I do want to put a small child through something unnecessary. They came back stating he needs 5, I automatically did not believe it and asked to view his XR. After looking at the XR my son in fact had 2 cavities not 5, they tried to tell me the photo was not the best but in this white area, there is a gray spot and a cavity,....I said where cause all I see is a healthy tooth with enamel intact. They wanted to IV sedate him and do all 5 fillings, I declined and said we can do the 2 he is here for and I will get a second opinion on the rest they didnt like that too much. These are all baby teeth not to mention, and wanted to bill the insurance over 3,000. READY FOR THE WORST PART??? They told me they would wrap his legs in a blanket for comfort and security during the procedure....I did not sign consent for this and again was told I can not be back there with him... After the wheeled him out my son came out hysterical in a full panic attack stating they hurt him, that they had him wrapped so tight like a hot dog it hurt and he told them and they ignored him. Then he said he remembered the loud noise and putting stuff in his mouth... HE REMEMBERED EVERYTHING ... and not to mention they had him strapped in a PAPOOSE BOARD, I DID NOT CONSENT TO THIS... and by law if a child has to be sedated, a parent or guardian may accompany them in the room, I was not ALLOWED!!. I work in peds and we do not strap patients or tie them down as it is illegal, if we have to hold a patient steady for blood draws, vaccines etc we gently hold but securely with the PARENTS helping us in the room the entire time. WE WILL NOT BE BACK and I AM FINDING A NEW DENTIST, I have contacted the ADA as well as ABC in regards to this as I do not want to see another child face this unnecessarily and feel I need to be a voice for their small voice as apparently this happens here all the time to other families. DO you research and please get a second opinion before going through with it here.

6 years ago, my oldest son was referred to The sedation center. Dr. Charlie was phenomenal! Today was my 3 yr olds appt (dentist appt 10/12, schedule first available date 3/17) Totally different experience. Directions to access the suite were vague. Nevertheless after calling into the office we found our way inside. Once inside and checked in, everything ran smoothly. Until time for the procedure. The Anesthesiologist came in and asked his questions, the Doctor followed him and asked if I had questions. Nope let's execute the treatment plan. You are then escorted to the back, hold your kids hand and they sedate him & you leave. Once back In the waiting room, the dental assistant returned saying the treatment plan had changed and now we need to perform extractions. She couldn't even tell me which teeth were to be extracted! I disagreed, then felt forced to agree to 2 due to an abscess. My child came out with 5 extractions (with ZERO extractions on the original plan )and bloody swollen mouth. The doctor did not come back to speak with me even though it was requested. The nurse in recovery was very nonchalant about the active bleeding she swore stopped (despite the red gauze that she changed twice before discharge) If you decide to proceed and take your child here, a few things to know that they don't tell you. *Parking is a parking deck. Access to the building is through the front door visible from the street not the parking deck *You need 2 adults to transport home *99% chance the plan you were referred for will be changed *Ask for gauze because they don't offer it.
