I grew up in a small town in Northwest Arkansas. I had an early interest in dentistry and wanted to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry since the sixth grade. After graduating from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas, I attended the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. While in Kansas City, I met my husband, Robin. Upon graduating from dental school, I earned my certificate in pediatric dentistry from Childrens Mercy Hospital and the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. After completing dental school and my pediatric training in 2006, we moved to Wichita, where I started our pediatric dental practice. We have two sons, Zachary and Ethan, and a golden doodle named George.

I was inspired to become a dentist by my own pediatric dentist. As I was growing up, I always admired the way he could help others through the service of dentistry. I am thankful for his positive influence and encouragement to pursue my dream career.

I love interacting with my patients and their families each day. The best part of my job is helping children transition from being apprehensive in the dental setting to being fully confident for their dental visits. Seeing the growth and progress that many children make over time is extremely rewarding. To have an opportunity to positively impact a childs life is incredible and is something that I work toward each day.

I love spending time with my family. I enjoy watching our sons play sports as well as spending time together at home. Our family loves board games! I am also an avid fan of all Arkansas Razorbacks sports and also like to cheer on the Royals and Chiefs as well.

My real hero would be my family. Its hard to pick just one person. My parents are incredible and I am so grateful to them for so many things. They taught me to work hard, have integrity, and trust God. My paternal grandmother was such an inspiration too.

There really is no one day that I can pick. I guess finding out I was accepted to dental school, marrying my husband, starting the practice, becoming a mom for the first time, and then the second, having Dr. Frazier join as a partner, and now Dr. Parr join as a partner there are so many significant days.

I love sports! In fact, sports are pretty much the ONLY thing that I watch on TV. Also, my wanting to become a pediatric dentist since the sixth grade is a little unique (although my husband picked his career in the third grade, so he has me beat).

From a young age, I always knew that I would want to work with children. They are seriously the best part of humanity! Kids are honest (sometimes crazy honest), they make friends quickly, they can live in the moment, and they make you laugh!

Now, I get to work with kids every day and hear them say something funny or heartwarming. Kids are the coolest. I really enjoy seeing kids grow up in our practice. It is an honor and a privilege to see them at so many life stages. Kids are the total highlight of my day.

In the summer, we spend tons of time on the lake and go wakeboarding. Our boys like baseball, soccer, and motorcycles. Our daughter likes gymnastics. We like to go snow skiing in the winter and play board games.

I completed my undergraduate education at Evangel University, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science. I went on to attend the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 2012.

Following graduation, I had the opportunity to work with a school-based community health program, providing care for uninsured children. It was here that I realized my love for working with children and my desire to pursue a lifetime career in pediatric dentistry. I then moved to Lexington, KY, where I completed my specialty program at the University of Kentucky. I loved my time in the Bluegrass State and the excellent training I received in pediatric dentistry. However, I am thrilled to be back home in Kansas.

Since joining Childrens Dental Professionals, I have been overwhelmed by the support I have received. From the sweet children and wonderful families in our practice to our incredible team members, I am surrounded by amazing people daily. I know it is a privilege to serve your family and take pride in doing so in the best way possible!

I LOVE spending time with my family and being able to cheer on my girls in their sports and activities. We enjoy being active as a family in our church. I like to recharge with quiet time at home when possible too!
