Since 1994, Dr. Michelle Handel has been practicing dentistry on children and adolescents. Graduating from Temple University School of Dentistry, Dr. Michelle Handel practiced dentistry with a well renowned Board Certified Pediatric Dentist in Philadelphia for 4 years before she relocatedto the South Florida area .She opened her first office in Plantation, Florida, and currently practices in her West Boca Raton office since 1999. As a dentist for children, Dr. Michelle Handel is able to implement many methods to help your child feel comfortable and at ease. These involve coaching, distraction, and parent participation. Dr. Michelle Handel participates in and sponsors many school events. She works closely with the daycare centers and schools in the area. Dr. Michelle Handel lives in Delray Beach with her husband and four sons. She enjoys Bikram yoga, going to the gym, traveling and spending time with family and friends.The culmination of allher experience as a childrens dentist and a parent of fourhas allowed her to create a dental environment that is filled with comfort and fun
Dr. Joseph L. Herman who is also a general dentist who is limited to pediatric dentistry is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry. He has many hours of continuing education and has been treating patients of all ages since 1990. Dr. Joseph L. Herman comes from a family of dentists. His two brothers practice in south Florida as well. Many years ago, he joined the practice with his wife and has been treating children as well. I love practicing dentistry with children. It is a very enjoyable rewarding experience.
Born in Ohio and raised in South Florida around a family of Dentists. Attended University of Michigan and Florida Atlantic University for undergraduate studies. Recieved his D.M.D from Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. He enjoys working on patients of all ages, especially children. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and flying airplanes.

From the first day I visited Children's Dental Place of Wellington I've felt as though my kids have been cared for and treated like family. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding! You are greeted with warm smiles by the front desk team. The entire office was very up-to-date with modern equipment, extremely clean, and it has an adventurous train themed environment (choo-choo!) The dental assistants are top notch! Rachael is fantastic! She is very friendly, professional, and is always gentle when cleaning my childrens teeth. Dr.Lyle is excellent! He's very informative, knowledgeable, and personable.He also takes time to answer questions and I never feel rushed. Every visit is like visiting friends. Highly recommend! See ya in 6 months!

Was running late due to an accident, called and confirmed they would still take children. Receptionist was nice but manager was very rude and dismissive, Explained being 12 min late is past the ten min window. I understand but why couldn't you explain that before I drive there. When two children arrived late( 5 minutes after me) and were brought right in. Changing dentists for my three children . If it's a rule for one family it should be your rule for all. Treat all children equal.

I've been going to this dentist for 10 years now and I honestly love it. Everything is done quick and nicely, I enjoy the staff. Dr. Herman is funny and sweet. Going to miss coming here. But my younger sibling will still love coming here.

Never heard of this policy "parents not allowed in the room because they can act up different plus there is no space for parents in the room....how parents are giving this place such good reviews when you don't know what they did to the kids, I asked parents to not SUPPORT this type of businesses !!! Please be more cautious!!!

Awesome pediatric dentist!! We made the switch to children's dental place of Wellington about 2 year ago and wouldn't go anywhere else! Dr lyle and the staff are awesome with children. Dr. Lyle is a great dentist. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist for there child. 5 + Stars

This is like seriously the absolute best children's dentist in South Florida period!!!.... The environment is fun and kids friendly, and the staff is the BEST EVER!!!!!

Amazing dental place! We love Dr. Lyle Herman, he is a very skilled and professional dentist. He makes it a pleasant experience going to the dentist. Children's Dental Place of Wellington is a very trusted, and reliable place. Also, the atmosphere is great!

Dr. Herman saved my child. My child was in agonizing pain on a Saturday and he came in and pulled a tooth out for her. He was so nice and she didn't feel anything. So thankful. Would recommend this practice to anyone who wants a great provider and nice practice. Thank you children's dental place of Wellington and Dr. Herman!

I went here as kid, Dr. Herman was always great to me and talk to me while working on my teeth! He was quick, gentle, and get the job done right! Now I have a two year old and I bring him to the same office. Dr. Herman's son is now there mostly and let me tell you he's awesome! Get guy cares about the patient. Great personally and easy to talk too!

Today, was my son's first appointment. The staff was very helpful, nice and explained the treatment plan. I was a little nervous, and the dentist and the staff make me feel at ease. Definitely, will recommend this place.
