Childrens Dental Health isdedicated to serving your child withthe finest pediatric dental care possible. Each of our friendly and compassionate pediatric dentists has received an additional two to three years of specialized training with a focus on children. Their approach to care involves a show, tell, do method, in which each pediatric dentist is careful to first show a patient what they plan to do, and explain how or why they will do it before taking action. This ensures that children are comfortable with dental equipment and they they begin to learn the routine of what to expect at each dental visit.
Following your check-in at our front desk, your child will be escorted to one of our treatment chairs in our patient hygiene bay, where they will be able to relax, put on their (super cool!) sunglasses, and watch a movie during their check-up. The hygienist will then perform a teeth cleaning, which includes flossing, and fluoride application.
Once your childs dental cleaning is complete, one of our pediatric dentists will perform a complete examination of your childs teeth and mouth addressing any additional concerns. Your dentist will then recommend a schedule for your childs future dental visits, which can range from once every 3 to 6 months, depending on their risk level for cavities. Once your childs visit is complete, they will receive a fun prize from our kids treasure chest, as well as a dental goodie bag, which includes a child-sized toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss.

I recommend Children's Dentist for your child 1st time. My children enjoy the whole staff they're wonderful with children. Since they were 5 yrs old they loved their first visit with the dentist day 1, they are now in Middle School, and yes we did try others but they were bad experiences screaming, crying and kicking .

We love Dr. Monteiro and everyone who works with him at Children's Dental Health. He has guided us through several procedures that were surprisingly painless, thanks to him and his talented staff. Together, they make each visit fun and so much easier than it might be somewhere else. Everyone we have encountered here has been friendly and great with kids. We are so grateful.

They were very accommodating and helped my kids out in a pinch. They were empathetic and understanding of a difficult situation, and took time to explain everything to me so I'd know what to expect with dental procedures. Scheduling an appointment was much easier than I've experienced with other offices!

I love the care that my children receive when at Children's Dental Health. Staff are friendly and efficient and do an amazing job at making the kids comfortable (my daughter cries almost every time but she always leaves with a smile).

This place is not honest, they add the N2O to my kids without any agreement from me or my kids, the only reason they want to add it is because it is not covered by the insurance. Totally not necessary. They will never told you this is not covered before use and only let you pay without explaination when you check out. If you ask them to explain for it, they threat you they will call police. I will never go to this dishonest place.

Brought my child in for a consult and the dentist used a mirror to look into my child's mouth that was all and stated my child has "8" cavities. My child has deep ridged teeth and our family dentist stated they can mislead cavities. The dentist did not use any other tools to determine "cavities". Our family dentist stated they are able to fill the one cavity in question but recommended a pediatric dentist bc of my child's age, this dentist stated the tooth most likely would need to be extracted. Money hungry and will not return.

Definitely the best dental office in Delaware. My 4 kids actually enjoy going to this office the staff here is Amazing!!! Especially very impressed how they work with my 3 year old autistic child they made her visit very comfortable and definitely had a lot of patients with her. I highly recommend it !!

I absolutely loved this place!! Yesterday was my first time taking my son to Children's Dental and it was such an amazing experience. This is the first time that I went to a place and they were all so kind and genuine. All of the staff made me feel so good with the choice I made about coming here. They were so caring and beyond great with my little boy. My son can't wait to go back. They are just so great with kids and most importantly they are great at what they do! If you need a dentist for your kid(s) .. this is definitely the place to go!

This place is literally amazing, I went to 4 dentist before here and I am so bummed they were not first on my list! They listened and were kind about our concerns they triple checked everything and made my daughter feel comfortable and eased her worries about being at the dentist again! If you need or are recomended to go to a pediatric dentist come here, you will not regret it!
