Childrens Dental Health isdedicated to serving your child withthe finest pediatric dental care possible. Each of our friendly and compassionate pediatric dentists has received an additional two to three years of specialized training with a focus on children. Their approach to care involves a show, tell, do method, in which each pediatric dentist is careful to first show a patient what they plan to do, and explain how or why they will do it before taking action. This ensures that children are comfortable with dental equipment and they they begin to learn the routine of what to expect at each dental visit.

Following your check-in at our front desk, your child will be escorted to one of our treatment chairs in our patient hygiene bay, where they will be able to relax, put on their (super cool!) sunglasses, and watch a movie during their check-up. The hygienist will then perform a teeth cleaning, which includes flossing, and fluoride application.

Once your childs dental cleaning is complete, one of our pediatric dentists will perform a complete examination of your childs teeth and mouth addressing any additional concerns. Your dentist will then recommend a schedule for your childs future dental visits, which can range from once every 3 to 6 months, depending on their risk level for cavities. Once your childs visit is complete, they will receive a fun prize from our kids treasure chest, as well as a dental goodie bag, which includes a child-sized toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss.

Pediatric dentists are specialists in treating the unique needs of children. A pediatric dentist has completed an additional 2-3 years of specialty training beyond dental school and treats the oral health needs of infants and children, including those with special needs. Pediatric dentists are skilled at using smaller equipment designed for a childs mouth and better understand the intricacies and importance of baby teeth in a growing child. They also focus more attention on educating patients and parents about preventive care to help children avoid complications such as decay, infection, speech problems, and cosmetic issues.

Primary, or baby, teeth are important for many reasons. Not only do they help children speak clearly and chew naturally, they also aid in forming a path that permanent teeth can follow when they are ready to erupt. It is important to remember that oral health affects more than the health of your teeth. Cavities in baby teeth cause pain and swelling that can be tremendously uncomfortable for your child. Oral infections can enter the blood stream and lead to other serious health problems. Bacteria can quickly jump from one part of the mouth to another, thus resulting in infections and cavities in new erupting adult teeth.

Were always looking for opportunities to help our patients form healthy habits at a young age! Our team loves to get involved in our community by visiting kids in surrounding school districts or attending local community events. If youre an educator or parent who would like us to visit your school or event, you can request your school visit, dental screening, or FREE virtual curriculum session below.

Horrible! Drove an hour away and was turned down for my sons much needed dentist appointment! No one even called to inform me! Office closes at 5:30, my sons appointment was at 5:00 we arrived 5 minutes late to a packed waiting room to be told they needed to cancel us! This practice is horrible, dirty and very unprofessional! STAY AWAY!

My boys love going to the dentist. They both have fillings done with and without novacaine and still love going every 6 months for cleanings. Staff is amazing from the front desk staff to the Dr's. A++++

I'd give 0 stars if I could! We showed up 15 minutes early for our appointment. Nobody was at the receptionist desk. Waited waited waited and still nobody after 45 minutes. Others started showing up and waiting for their appointments. I decided I'm not waiting anymore and we left. As we're walking out a nurse (possibly receptionist) was walking in finishing food. They then called me 15 minutes later saying I missed my appt and asked to reschedule. I let her have it. Told her I was there early and waited forever without seeing a soul. Apparently they leave the whole place empty and unlocked while they're on lunch. ALSO, they apparently schedule appointments during their lunch time and just expect you to wait. That's so rude and inconsiderate of other peoples time! My son missed school for nothing that day. Then they want to send me a bill for a "missed appointment"!!! I should send them a bill for a "missed appointment" since they're the ones who didn't show up! Absolute disgrace!

Angie was so amazing!! My daughter has a huge fear when it comes to the doctors and dentist, she had my son in and out without a problem. And when it was my daughters turn she started crying and Angie was able to get her to calm down and had her even laughing during her appointment. I definitely found my kids new dentist office!

Called days ahead of time to make sure they took my insurance and to get all the paperwork needed squared away. I get there and I'm immediately told they don't accept my insurance. I'll have to pay out of pocket because my son is over 7. Missed day of school, missed day of work. Total waste of time. UPDATE: No. I had a referral sent over because I was made aware of that requirement days ahead of time. I understand things happen but I'd never give you another chance due to your manager or whoever yelling across the lobby to "have a nice day" because I was frustrated and asked why I couldn't be told this on the phone. I'd never recommend this place to anyone. Your receptionists etc need a lot of work. Thanks take care

This place deserves 0 stars. Upon arrival we were not even greeted by the receptionists. They were very cold and didn't even look me in the eye. The waiting room was packed full and had no where to sit, so we stood in the corner for 20 minutes until a spot became available. While waiting for our turn, another women waiting with her daughter had a verbal altercation with the receptionists. She was understandably very upset and trying to find out why they would not allow her to go back with her daughter. Like the rest of us waiting, her child was a minor and should not be taken from the parent. The receptionists were extremely rude and just kept saying " well this is our doctors policy, maybe this isn't the right dentist for you". That is the short version, as this went on for several minutes. After the women went back, you could hear them talking trash on her the entire time. So unprofessional! In the meantime my daughter was listening to this and started crying because she did not want to go back alone. I promised her that I would not let that happen because no child should be taken away from their parents for any type of examination. When she was called they told me they were going to take her for an x-ray and then call me back. I was ok with this because I understand that you can't be in the room due to radiation etc. They then sent my daughter to get me, instead of the lady who took her back which I found odd. The doctor immediately came into the room, said this is the X-ray, explained how they could work around one of her teeth that hasn't come out yet. He said she needed braces but offered no explanation to why or any information about getting braces or what's involved. He told me if I wanted to do it that we would have to come back for another appointment to do more x-rays and other things so they could submit it to the insurance for approval. We were literally in that room for 2 minutes or less. I don't understand why we even came for that appointment. When I made it, they said they would do everything necessary that day. What a waste of time and gas. We only drove an hour to this orthodontist because it is the only place that takes her insurance. We waited 3 months for that appt to be rushed in and out in 2 minutes. Unreal. To top it off, on the way out I said to my daughter that I don't understand why he didn't even examine her mouth. She told me he looked in her mouth and did a few things before they called me back. I'm severely appalled by this because I didn't authorize them to touch my child without me in the room, other then taking the x-ray. They should never do anything to a minor without a parent present. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen! I will never set foot in this practice again. Do not take your children here. Their bedside manor is horrible and clearly they didn't care at all about my daughter. You're basically just another number to them.

Yesterday I had a really bad experience. My son had an appointment scheduled at 4:30. We arrived 4:45. We were late because we lived too far away from this current location. We previously went to another location operating under this same system in Bensalem. It was convenient due to the location being close to our home. But it was changed recently for us to this place. Now what happened yesterday was that when we arrived, the staff did not want to attend to us. I find it hypocritical that on previous appointments whenever we arrived early, we had to normally wait for about 15 to 20 minutes for the appointment to begin, but now when we arrive at a later time than what was scheduled, we cannot be attended to. It is not fair. In addition, there was a rude receptionist with blonde dyed hair that wanted us to reschedule the appointment of my son for three weeks later. To add salt to the wound, the future appointment was supposed to take place in the MORNING on a weekday, when my son has school. Very unprofessional.

Children's Dental Health has such fun offices! All are designed differently. My son has no fear of going to the dentist and actually looks forward to it! He loves getting a new toothbrush and leaving with a fresh healthy smile. :)

This is for the orthodontist part of this business. My two boys got braces put on in the Bensalem office. Then after a few visits they informed me they moved orthodontics office to warminster which is 45 minutes without traffic from me. Completely inconvenient, but it gets worse. My kids have something fall off or break way too much. Then they don't have emergency appointments. My sons bottom brace was completely sticking out of his mouth and they couldn't do anything to get him an appointment on a Friday when it happened thursday night. He had to pop it off completely to be able to go to school. Also, they should have 6 weeks between appointments but now it's 7 because they are under staffed and again only operational on Mondays that aren't holidays. Last complaint is I had their appointment set and confirmed and they announced today they will be randomly closed now the day of their appointments (10/25/21) So here we go another 6-7 week wait and my son has a partial cavity under a brace he needs to have them look at before it can be fixed. Long story summed up, look for another office. This is way too much for a working mother and her teenage boys. Not the best quality braces Only open on Mondays Randomly closing offices Too many patients not enough time, space, or staff Take your business somewhere

This review is for the Children's Dental Health Orthodontics. Our experience has been an absolute nightmare. We see this practice for our general dentist and figured it was convenient to use there ortho department as well. From the start everything seemed ok. However when my son had the expander in place it fell out multiple times. We followed all the rules, he didn't eat anything he wasn't suppose to. Braces occasionally popped off. They have no emergency appts set aside, and we're only available on Mondays. Most of the time they couldn't fit him in either, so we had to wait 2 weeks or more to be seen. The doctor he saw ended up leaving the practice, and he was assigned a new one. Saw her once or twice, now she has apparently left. He was schedule to go in to have a mold done for his retainer. He had one done, and then the following week or so they called to make another appt to have the same mold completed. I explained to them, this was done at the last appt, they claimed it wasn't. Made the new appt, and then a week later they called to cancel the appt, explained that it was done (like I originally stated). Fast forward to a month and a 1/2 later, the morning of his next appt they called and said they messed up. His retainer never was made by the lab because he was suppose to come into the office and have a new mold created because the first impression was not good enough. So now we waited over 2 months for his braces to come off and a retainer to be placed, and we were starting all over again. The lack of communication in this office and mistakes made are nothing short of a nightmare. The only solution they can give you, is to be seen in their Springfield or Allegheny office, which is extremely inconvenient for us. He was scheduled for an appt today, but on Friday they now canceled all future appts bc they do not have an available doctor now. Do not waste your time or money with this office.

Receptionists we're very friendly and the waiting room is beach themed. My 11 yr old said her technician was very aggressive with her. Grabbing her face and moving it with out saying what she wanted by daughter to do. I have had a problem with them not changing my insurance for several visits. Which leads to a phone call several days before my visit. I then give them my insurance which they don't change and ultimately call back the day of telling me.my insurance has been cancelled. I finally got some one to change the insurance for me.
