Childrens Dental Health isdedicated to serving your child withthe finest pediatric dental care possible. Each of our friendly and compassionate pediatric dentists has received an additional two to three years of specialized training with a focus on children. Their approach to care involves a show, tell, do method, in which each pediatric dentist is careful to first show a patient what they plan to do, and explain how or why they will do it before taking action. This ensures that children are comfortable with dental equipment and they they begin to learn the routine of what to expect at each dental visit.

Following your check-in at our front desk, your child will be escorted to one of our treatment chairs in our patient hygiene bay, where they will be able to relax, put on their (super cool!) sunglasses, and watch a movie during their check-up. The hygienist will then perform a teeth cleaning, which includes flossing, and fluoride application.

Once your childs dental cleaning is complete, one of our pediatric dentists will perform a complete examination of your childs teeth and mouth addressing any additional concerns. Your dentist will then recommend a schedule for your childs future dental visits, which can range from once every 3 to 6 months, depending on their risk level for cavities. Once your childs visit is complete, they will receive a fun prize from our kids treasure chest, as well as a dental goodie bag, which includes a child-sized toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss.

Pediatric dentists are specialists in treating the unique needs of children. A pediatric dentist has completed an additional 2-3 years of specialty training beyond dental school and treats the oral health needs of infants and children, including those with special needs. Pediatric dentists are skilled at using smaller equipment designed for a childs mouth and better understand the intricacies and importance of baby teeth in a growing child. They also focus more attention on educating patients and parents about preventive care to help children avoid complications such as decay, infection, speech problems, and cosmetic issues.

Primary, or baby, teeth are important for many reasons. Not only do they help children speak clearly and chew naturally, they also aid in forming a path that permanent teeth can follow when they are ready to erupt. It is important to remember that oral health affects more than the health of your teeth. Cavities in baby teeth cause pain and swelling that can be tremendously uncomfortable for your child. Oral infections can enter the blood stream and lead to other serious health problems. Bacteria can quickly jump from one part of the mouth to another, thus resulting in infections and cavities in new erupting adult teeth.

Were always looking for opportunities to help our patients form healthy habits at a young age! Our team loves to get involved in our community by visiting kids in surrounding school districts or attending local community events. If youre an educator or parent who would like us to visit your school or event, you can request your school visit, dental screening, or FREE virtual curriculum session below.

The worst customer service I've ever dealt with! Lots of miscommunication and bad attitude! Doctors are great though! I'm transferring both my children to a different office. I wish I've read all the reviews earlier...

Appointment was for 2:30 I arrived late from Allentown btw at 2:40 . The receptionist gave me attitude because I arrived late and said by the time I finished the paperwork I would be past my grace period . If she would of been sincere and understanding that I'm traveling from far but no I get attitude from the minute of my arrival. I waited 2 hours to finally be seen for 3 mins for the doctor to tell me he's fine . This is the last time I come to this place . I've always had a great experience until today and I'm highly disappointed.

Impossible to get ahold of and always pushing oral surgery. Want me to have my daughter sedated at another facility for minor cavities that should be able to be done in office without problem. Berated me for my other daughters poor home brushing habits when they know she has autism and sensory processing disorder. Seeking another dentist asap.

Check in staff are rude, don't understand why wearing a mask while in the waiting room when the check in staff doesn't wear it the proper way.

Dentist & office staff are great but scheduling a appointment is a nightmare. Had to wait at least a hour for a call back . There was so much loud background noise it was appalling. I heard nothing but a movie that was cussing and swearing and children playing musical instruments in the background. They need to put these people back in the office instead of them working at home in a loud environment. Totally unacceptable.

Very nice and informative ! Had movie playing for kids so that was nice of course but seemed rushed a bit but understand timing and all for scheduling ! Informed me of my youngest short frenulum which I had no idea cuz he breast fed fine and that I guess is normally when that gets discovered cuz of having troubles nursing ! So now I know ...

Wasn't happy at all. Went in for daughters teeth cleaning and couldn't even go back with her, which wouldn't be such a big deal but it was the first time there and never even met the people and doctors before. Then when she was gone they came out told me she has a bunch of cavities and needs a ton of work done on her teeth. The girl talked so fast and then left as a soon as she was done talking so I never even got to ask questions or see xrays or even talk to the actual dentist about any of it. All seems sketchy to me. Will be going to another dentist for a second opinion before doing anything to her mouth, especially since I didn't get to actually talk to anyone about it.

The dentist was great, however the office staff is horrible. Long wait times past your appointment time. They cancelled my appointment with a few hours notice, then rescheduled at month later during the middle of the day. When I called to tell them that time doesn't work, they told me the next appointment was 6 months out. I now have to find my child a new dentist office. Would not recommend!

It was weird to me that parents are not allowed to accompany the kids inside. Didn't feel comfortable about it. Cannot trust a minor being treated without an adult seeing what is really happening. Not very nice people in the front. I don't believe I am coming back.

My son loves going to the dentist here. Hygienists and dentist alike are very friendly. They make the experience of going to the dentist very positive!
