Childrens Dental Health isdedicated to serving your child withthe finest pediatric dental care possible. Each of our friendly and compassionate pediatric dentists has received an additional two to three years of specialized training with a focus on children. Their approach to care involves a show, tell, do method, in which each pediatric dentist is careful to first show a patient what they plan to do, and explain how or why they will do it before taking action. This ensures that children are comfortable with dental equipment and they they begin to learn the routine of what to expect at each dental visit.
Following your check-in at our front desk, your child will be escorted to one of our treatment chairs in our patient hygiene bay, where they will be able to relax, put on their (super cool!) sunglasses, and watch a movie during their check-up. The hygienist will then perform a teeth cleaning, which includes flossing, and fluoride application.
Once your childs dental cleaning is complete, one of our pediatric dentists will perform a complete examination of your childs teeth and mouth addressing any additional concerns. Your dentist will then recommend a schedule for your childs future dental visits, which can range from once every 3 to 6 months, depending on their risk level for cavities. Once your childs visit is complete, they will receive a fun prize from our kids treasure chest, as well as a dental goodie bag, which includes a child-sized toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss.

Bacteria can quickly jump from one part of the mouth to another, thus resulting in infections and cavities in new erupting adult teeth.

I'd like to recognize Mo, the Dental Hygenist. She is always sweet and understanding to our family whenever we come. It's a lot more than I can say for the rest of the office staff, who separated me from my 3 small kids and made me wait outside like a disease-ridden second class citizen when we came in today. My own dentist no longer enforces mask wearing, neither does my doctors office, my kids doctors office, or my ob/gyn. Yet you guys are still stuck on it like it is 2020? It's time for a change in policy. Scientific studies have shown that it only takes 4 minutes of wearing a mask for a child's oxygen levels to reach dangerous lows. I will not abuse children in that way, and neither should you.

Multiple issues over the last few years. Most recently scheduled an appointment over the phone and when we showed up for the appointment there was no record of it. However, they offered to squeeze us in anyway.

Every time we have an appointment, the girls at the front desk are awesome. They know the kid's names. They laugh with them. The hygienist and doctors are all pleasant and are patient with the kids. Even made sure our youngest had an awesome first experience. Thank you!

My children have been patients here since we moved into the area in 2017. The dentist office is always friendly and polite, but dealing with their orthodontics side has been a complete nightmare! My son ended up with COVID so we had to reschedule his visit and when we rescheduled his ortho appointment which was 2 months later due to their unavailability he was due for another cleaning, but no one told me that until I arrived to that appointment and they said they couldn't do anything. They called me the day before to confirm the appointment but didn't catch he was due for another cleaning. We scheduled a cleaning which got rescheduled because the office was closed the day they rescheduled me for. We finally get in a few weeks later and we have the cleaning done to schedule the ortho appointment 3.5 months later...which is crazy but you know COVID. Today is the day, my son is excited he wants to fix his teeth because he has an uncomfortable tooth that grew too low. Then I realized I never received the appointment confirmation call or email yesterday, so I call this morning and they tell me they have to reschedule due to a problem with scheduling only in the Downingtown office...I'm beyond frustrated but I'll take my business elsewhere.

I took both of my toddlers in for a cleaning last week, we always have an issue with my 3.5 year old because she is scared of everything and the doctors/dentist is always especially scary for her. I usually have to hold her in my lap but not this time! The Dental Hygienist Kathy RDH was AMAZING!!! She got my daughter to sit in the chair and clean her teeth while Anna the assistant held her hand. I was so happy with both of these ladies and how they handled the situation.
