Dr. Todd Steinmetz grew up in Wisconsin where his father is a pediatric dentist. When Dr. Todd was in fifth grade, he decided that he would like to follow his father 's example and become a pediatric dentist as well. Dr. Todd worked for his father around his office and truly fell in love with children 's dentistry. After years and years of school, Dr. Todd moved to Montana. He opened his practice in 1997. A true 'Cheese Head', Dr. Todd is huge Packers fan. He is also a competitive clay shooter. He loves to ski as well. His family includes his wife, Nicole, and son, Ty.'
Lauren and her husband moved to Bozeman in 2015 from South Carolina. She misses being close to the ocean but has enjoyed being close to the mountains. In the fall of 2016 they welcomed their daughter Lily Hart and in 2020 Huntley. In her spare time, Lauren likes to garden, travel, and spend time at the pool.
Mandy grew up in Montana and moved to Bozeman for college in 1997. She graduated in 2001 and since has spent her time working with children and their families. Mandy married her best friend of 30 years in the fall of 2012 and they welcomed their daughter Stella Lou in 2015. In her spare time Mandy enjoys reading, being outdoors, traveling, Pilates and spending time with her loud Greek family.
Emily was born and raised here in Bozeman. Being an avid fisherman and hunter makes Montana a great fit for her. She also enjoys hiking and camping any chance she can get. Emily loves being around kids and from a young age always knew she would involve them in a career.
Amy is born and raised in Montana. She's originally from Great Falls, but moved to Bozeman the summer of 2017. She fell in love with the close outdoor activities, and the beautiful scenery Bozeman has to offer. Amy started working with kids at a very young age, and knew shortly after college she wanted to jump into pediatric dentistry. In her spare time she loves being outside, hanging out with her close friends and visiting her family back home every chance she gets.

We had to come in for a dental issue as our regular Children's Dentist (Bridger Children's Dentistry) was out of town. The front desk ladies at Children's Dental Health were very nice and understood my Children's excitement at being at a new Dentist's office and their natural curiosity in exploring and looking at everything (very cool Fish tank and tiny toilet in the Bathroom!). The Dentist was kind and gentle with my daughter who was apprehensive about seeing a new Dentist. He was professional and pleasant to us. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is strictly based on the Dental Assistant's attitude and demeanor. I had to bring my other two small children with me and as I stated before, they were excited to be somewhere new. Since the majority of our brief appointment was spent with her, I have to base my review on how she interacted with my children. She seemed annoyed and impatient with my children, which is strange considering this is a CHILDREN'S Dental office. She scolded them from the front of the office- to the back about the tiniest things and seemed to rush us through as quickly as possible. It was just a really off-putting experience with her. The office is laid out really nicely with each room decorated as a different State or Country, which was really neat. My children were fascinated and it would've been nice if they could have taken a second to look at the paintings, but again we were rushed out. There were no other patients in the entire building, so I'm not sure what the rush was, but the experience with her alone made us feel like our presence there was a nuisance and that is not a good feeling for anyone. Again, the Front Desk and the Dentist were great though!!

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. They treated me a 16 year old very badly. I told them that I had a traumatizing past experience at the dentist and they didn't even try to ease me into things. They took me into a room, told me I could not come out till they were done, and didn't even let my mother come in to just hold my hand while I got my fillings. This clinic is not good for children.

I would never recommend this dental care to anyone. They don't treat teens there age at all, in fact they are quite rude to teens. They don't let parents be with their children when they are filling their teeth, even if the kid is extremely nervous. My teenager was having a panic attack and the doctors didn't even notify me that she was having one. I had to be told by my daughter after the fact about how mean and uncaring they were about her.

I couldn't recommend Dr. Todd and his staff more highly! Every last interaction is warm, friendly, and welcoming! My daughter went to have teeth pulled and didn't even realize they were missing until she looked in the mirror. It doesn't get any easier or more pain free than that! My girls actually look forward to going to the dentist!!

Dr. Steinmetz and his team are absolutely amazing! They are so gentle and explain everything to the kids prior to doing it! The day after my boys appointment they asked if they could go back to the dentist again!

They are so awesome! The staff is amazing. My 4 year old was crying and refusing to get in the chair due to fear and Amy did such an incredible job getting him distracted by letting him smell the toothpaste and feel the instruments so they weren't scary. The prizes at the end of the apt are also such a good incentive! Thank you guys!!!

Dr. Todd is amazing as well as Mandy and the whole team. They worked perfectly in conjunction with the awesome hospital team for my sons' oral surgery and communication was seamless. Also the kids are always happy as clams to go to dentist appointments.

We have been seeing Dr Todd and his excellent staff for years now since we have five children. All of our kids love their visits and we have always been happy with the care our children have received. In fact, the day after our five year old was last seen, she wanted to know how many days it would be until her next visit! Thanks Dr. Todd and staff for providing excellent dental care!!
