Here at Children's Dental FunZone your child is important to us. We are able to provide multiple avenues of care for your child. One option is the use of Intravenous (IV) Sedation. IV sedation is a form of anesthesia where a sedative medication is dispensed through the bloodstream during a patients treatment.

Worst customer service. My daughter had a reoccurring condition after getting her tooth pulled due to an infection on her gums, and they wouldn't let her come back, she got dismissed and was told to go to a different location. Don't waste your time coming, these people are crooks! The location on Pico Blvd is way better & professional

EVERYONE, receptionists, xray tech, dental assistants and dentist, Dr Grant, were extremely kind and made my 4 year old feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the little guy had his first two cavities and the dentist offered to take care of it the same day, which worked out perfect. It avoided overthinking and anxiety from a first time parent. The procedure was quick and both dentist and assistant made sure to communicate with my little guy and make him feel comfortable, even when he was crying and trying to wiggle his way out of the chair. They also allowed me to sit by his legs, which allowed me to hold his hands through the process. I also thought it was extremely sweet of them to give him a yogurtland coupon and a toy as a reward for his bravery. Extremely thoughtful. Parenting is NOT EASY, but when you are surrounded by kind, loving physicians and assistants it truly makes a difference.

This is such a great place for children to have their experiences with dentistry. The office is welcoming by the colors and the ambience and super child friendly. The staffs and doctors are super friendly and catered to the child and the family. I love the dental rooms for the children and it accomodates the adult as well. All the kids leave happy, that is unheard of in a dental office. Plus they are offered the kids a cute gift. I am so happy I was able to connect with this office and if you are contemplating on getting a dentist for your liitle one, look no further. This place is it.

Their billing department is horrible. They had me pay for things insurance covered. Then told me I didn't pay for things that I paid for. I had to send them months of bank statements to prove I paid. They are so unorganized and overbooked. Sometimes you aren't seen til an hour after your appointment time. Then when you are finally finally seen, they have three different techs working on your child's mouth. One will start, then someone will send them to do another task, then the same thing will happen again. Also, if you look at the staff, I doubt they are an EOE.

Had to change my star review because I just received an invoice of $200 for laughing gas from December 2021. When the dental service was provided I pay my total amount due including laughing gas for the treatment and whatever wasn't covered by my insurance over $700. I was just told I had to pay for laughing gas each time for same treatment. Why wasn't I notified back in December 2021 when the treatment was complete? The fact that I'm getting this bill almost a year later is not ok! Then I was threatened to be sent to collections if I didn't pay.?!

I love the experience with the destist with my two sons, but they told me my son needed surgery for tooth extraction n cavities because he's autistic. Lady that makes the appointments told me I had to wait 1 month for medical approval, that was in August I call today and they told me they are booked for the rest of the year until March or April of next year 2023 . I told her so my son has to wait that long for cavities n tooth extraction?! I told her, I'm sorry but no that's to long to wait. No one told me that, when we left the first appointments nor they bother to give me a call to let me know the process. She said it was normal wait time and that if I went to the children's hospital it would be more than a year. Is that true? ...Highly disappointed with my experience this was recommended to me for my autistic sons . Now I've waisted all of this time while I could of went to another dentist. Lady on the phone said you have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for medical to approved then wait another 6 weeks or more to see if they can give you an appointment. Which they had none until March or April of 2023.

I have 3 stars because the initial experience was negative. However once I saw the doctor she was very pleasant and I informative. She informed me step by step of what was happening to my children. I recommend train for reception staff though!! All in all once we went to the back the staff was pleasant.

I highly recommend this dental office for the children. I am currently taking my girls and I love the cleanliness, kindness from the whole staff. Starting with the girls in the front desk and in the back with the technicians. Of course, Dr. Assal was great with my girls. They always look forward to going to the dentist. I normally don't take the time to leave poor reviews, I usually just take my business elsewhere but I've really loved this dentist office and my daughter does too. She responds really well to the staff. Today however seemed chaotic in the office today. We arrived 10 minutes late, which I apologized for however we were not seen until after 1 hour later. Someone that was scheduled for an appointment 1 hour after us was called back same time as us. When I asked about the wait time the person I asked didn't even look up to make eye contact just brushed me off saying "I'll let you know" which she didn't get back to me. No x rays were done as they usually are (I mention this because of information the dentist provided about this visit would have been helpful for comparison). The dentist and assisting staff were still nice however the dentist didn't seem to have viewed the chart based on the information he provided/question he asked me. Lastly, usually I am asked about setting a future appointment but not this time however I received a text message shortly after the visit telling me when the next appointment is.
