Dr. Sumner actively participates in dental education and research to assure that we remain current at the highest level.
Childrens Dental Clinic provides high quality dental care and patient comfort for the children of Tupelo, Pontotoc, Amory, Aberdeen, Booneville, Baldwyn, Corinth, Grenada, Oxford, Guntown, New Albany, Verona, Houston, Saltillo, Shannon, Sherman, Mantachie and Plantersville, Mississippi, as well as West Alabama and Jackson, TN.
Dr. Trice Sumner is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Science. She received her dental education at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and completed her residency at The Childrens Hospital of Denver, where she was honored as chief resident. Dr. Sumner is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Mississippi Dental Association. She is an active staff member of North Mississippi Medical Center and Surgery Center. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Sumners pediatric dental degree requires an additional two years of study following the completion of her four-year dental degree. This special training allows her to provide treatment for a wide variety of childrens dental problems. Dr. Sumner is also trained to treat special patients who may have emotional or physical handicaps. We believe the primary way to implement the latest technology is by placing a strong emphasis on continuing education. Each year Dr. Sumner attends continuing education courses in order to stay on the forefront of childrens dental care and remain well informed.

We had such a great experience at Children's Dental. The staff was very professional and the environment was very welcoming and clean. From check in to check out was a smooth transition. Dr. Sumner and the hygienist had great bedside manner and made my child's first dental experience a less frightening and comforting visit. They both explained everything so well. Overall great experience.

Everyone was very through and welcoming. I didn't get to go back to the back with my son but they did ensure me that if he did need me someone would come out and let me come back. Dr. Sumner and her team took time to explain everything to me. They left rooms for questions and make sure I understood everything.

The staff had really positive attitudes, very greatly energy. My daughter went in skeptical, but came out behaving like she just left Disneyland lol. They are very knowledgeable, and they have good communication skills. I appreciate how they treat my daughter, and me as her parent. They get 5 stars from us!

Dr. Sumner and her staff could NOT have been better!!!! Every one was so sweet and gentle with my 18 month old. Dr. Sumner assessed her very quickly and thoroughly explained to me my daughters dental needs. I'm so glad to have found her and her clinic and will forever use her!
