Dr. Angie was born and raised in York, PA. After graduating from Red Lion Area Senior High School, she attended the Pennsylvania College of Technology and received a degree in Dental Hygiene. Afterwards, she continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree and numerous awards and honors. During her time at the dental school, Dr. Angie had the opportunity to spend additional time in the pediatric and special needs clinic. It was during this time she realized she wanted her professional career to involve caring for children.

After completing dental school, she completed a one year General Practice Residency at the York Hospital. She then returned to Pittsburgh and completed her Pediatric Dentistry training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. After completing research dealing with dental anomalies viewed on panoramic radiographs, she helped to co-author an article in the journal Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Angie knew she wanted to return to York County to practice pediatric dentistry and to help care for the dental needs of the children in our area. She joined Childrens Dental Centre of York in 2001 after completing her pediatric training. As the owner of Childrens Dental Centre of York since 2010, Dr. Angie continues to grow the practice in the same spirit that Dr. Dave began in 1989.

Outside of the office, Dr. Angie enjoys gardening and landscaping. Additionally, she loves to cook and tries to find time to play golf. Also when it is time for rest and relaxation, she enjoys going to the beach to participate in water activities on the bay.

Dr. Dave and his wife, Leslie, chose York as their home in 1989 and opened the doors of Childrens Dental Centre of York, assisted by their 5 year old daughter who spent many hours helping Mom and Dad make their young patients feel at home.

In the past, he has treated patients in Ecuador and Russia while on mission trips. Additionally, he has served as a pediatric dentist to the Choctaw Indian nation in Oklahoma and to the Alaska Native population in Barrow, on Alaskas North Slope.

Absolutely phenomenal. We just moved and my son needed his 6 month cleaning. I called today and they had a cancellation so they got me in this afternoon. She recommended some additional services to my son(8) we didn't hesitate to schedule them. They made this experience fun, and relaxing. They were very through. My son has painful memories from his last dental visit, no fault to the dentist, but I was amazed at how well today went. I will be arranging for all of my children to be seen here.

The hygienist had my daughter giggling instead of crying. Our visit exceeded my expectations for how well a cleaning could possibly go for a 3 year old. They were fantastic. I honestly can't recommend highly enough.

My daughter is non verbal autistic and with this being her first time here she was scared. They were very nice and tried everything to accommodate her needs. They came up with a plan in order to help with her dental needs. They were so good to her.

We visited CDCY as an emergency visit. The staff were very kind and accommodating. I was very impressed by the professionalism and patience of the staff. They went above and beyond to make the visit seem natural. The Dentist was phenomenal! She was relaxed and reassuring, explaining the procedure to my child and making him feel comfortable during the exam. The office helped to turn our stressful situation into a pleasant experience.

My son has had a traumatic experience in the past at a different dentist. So when we arrived he was scared, and didn't want to be there. From the moment we walked in it was inviting. Very cool lounge area. Tall giraffe in walkway. So cute. The staff was great too. We had Tiffany and my son said he loves this place. Told me he wants to come back, even after I told him the next appointment would be xrays. They did a great job making him feel calm

From the day Dr. Angie took my emergency after hours call several years ago (my son was a patient elsewhere that was not handling my son's issue properly) to today's visit, CDCY is who I recommend to every single person looking for a pediatric dentist. Every doctor and staff member are so patient, kind, and understanding of each child's unique needs. They are always ensuring the comfort of your kiddo, as well as making sure you understand what's happening. The communication is top notch! And to watch the hygienist work with the dentist like a well oiled machine is always intriguing for me. I wish all companies worked so efficiently!

I feel safe having my son going to CDCY. They take a lot of precautions to keep my son safe and he enjoys going there. The staff is really nice and helpful. I regret not going there sooner. I only wish they would start accepting more insurances.

The dentist and dental assistant were very patient with our son who has autism. They were able to explain to him ahead what would happen in order to help him remain calm and less anxious. The dentist was very thorough in her exam and took good xrays for the first time that will allow for efficient dental care.
