She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. She next earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry. Continuing at Baylor, Dr. Kuba completed her certification in pediatric dentistry, in addition to a Master of Science in oral biology.
When Dr. Kuba started dental school, she was working as a general dental assistant and had her sights set on becoming a general dentist. More than anything, she knew with a great amount of certainty that she would not be specializing in oral surgery or pediatrics. She says, No one was more surprised than me when I realized I love pediatrics!
In addition to teaching, Dr. Kuba serves as a consultant to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She stays current on the latest advances in oral healthcare through participation in multiple study groups, as well as taking continuing education through numerous professional organizations.
Dr. Kuba is grateful, each day, for all the rewards that come from working with children and their families. She loves watching children grow up and appreciates the opportunity to make a difference in each childs health and feelings about dentistry.
Born and raised in Wills Point, Dr. Ben Curtis was inspired to become a pediatric dentist after the poor dental experiences he had as a child. He strives to make dental visits fun for kids byprovidinggentle, compassionate care.
Dr. Curtis graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science and a minor in business. Heattended Baylor College of Dentistry, where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Remaining at Baylor, he completed his rigorous pediatric dentistry training.
Dr. Alvin Michael was born and raised in Mesquite, TX and attended Poteet High School. He has a large extended family and was inspired to become a dentist after shadowing a cousin who is a general dentist. He went on to graduate from Austin College in Sherman with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration before completing dental school at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in June 2021. Dr. Kuba, an adjunct professor at the dental college, immediately recognized Dr. Michaels talent and devotion to patient care qualities that she knew would make him a perfect fit for the CDCI team! and invited him to join our staff of outstanding pediatric dental providers.

My son had been traumatized by another dentist didn't want to go again but I looked online for another dentist saw the reviews here and we came. Dr Curtis is the best he put my sons needs first he talked to to him where he would understand and wouldn't be afraid and calmed me down too everyone there is so nice.

Our 3 year old has been going to this practice for over 2 years - they are AMAZING! The dentists are great and quick, the staff is the most patient and kind team - with tons of great tricks to help make going to the dentist a breeze - and they always have helpful tips to make keeping my son's teeth clean easier! My son loves going to the dentist now (he actually asked to go again tomorrow!), we won't be going anywhere else, that's for sure.

2022 update- Dr. Kuba and her team continues to provide consistent quality care. Appreciated their attention to detail and making an effort to keep family appointments together to save me from making multiple trips. Would recommend them to everyone! 2020 update- Appreciate the whole team at this office. The hygienists do a great job teaching kids about oral hygiene and Dr. Kuba is consistently thorough in her care. Trusted hands and loving care here! I'm so grateful for the thorough care Dr. Kuba and all the other doctors we have met over the years. It was Dr. Kuba who first drew my attention to my daughter's large tonsils that could cause sleep apnea and encouraged me to seek an ENT for evaluation. We had suffered through years of bad allergies, congestion, sore throats, sleepless nights prior to Dr. Kuba and our awesome ENT's recommendation for her tonsillectomy. It still amazes me for all the doctors, nurses, physician assistants that we've come across...it was our dentist that looked and questioned a possible airway issue. I can never thank Dr. Kuba enough!

We had our first dental visit to this hospital for my 6yrs old daughter.She is very nervous but the staff and doctor here are so friendly and patience which made her comfortable .we love this place.I would definitely recommend this hospital to my friends.

Best pediatric dentist office I have ever been to. Everyone is super friendly and know how to deal with children who are not comfortable in doctor's office. My now almost 10 years old son loves his visits. I have been bringing him here since 2017. Natalie was very supportive and helpful when we had a situation and even made a visit possible on Monday when the office is closed. Thank you Natalie and everyone at the office for the best service provided.

The staff is so friendly and comforting. My 5 yrs old daughter was very reluctant to go to the dentist but she felt very comfortable after being given a warm welcome and friendly gestures by the entire staff including the receptionist to the nurse, dental assistant, dental hygienist and the dentist himself. Dr. Michael is really good and I would recommend him and his dental office. The facility is so cute and very kid friendly.

Wonderful dentist office they take time with the children and thoroughly explain what's going on to both parent and child. I would definitely recommend this dentist's office. We were recommended Dr. Kuba's office for our pediatric dentist, this was the first dental visit ever for our one-year-old and it was so great! During our first visit, we were given a tour of the office which is super cool and kid friendly. We met the staff and saw Dr. Michael. Everyone was so kind and accommodating and even gave our kiddo a gift for her first dentist's visit ever. Nothing but good things to say about this office and it was such a lovely experience overall.
