Throughout your life, you will have two sets of teeth: Primary (baby) teeth and secondary (permanent) teeth. The primary teeth typically appear around 5-7 months and all 20 teeth are usually in place by 24-36 months.

Permanent teeth usually begin growing around age 6, and with the exception of the wisdom teeth, are typically all present between ages 12 and 14. The 6 year molars will erupt behind the last baby tooth, no baby teeth will fall out when the permanent six year molar comes in. Wisdom teeth usually begin erupting around age 16-17. The total number of permanent teeth is 32, including the wisdom teeth.

Your front teeth are called incisors. The sharp Fang-like teeth are canines. The next side teeth are referred to as premolars or bicuspids (although for our baby teeth these are actually molars!), and the back teeth are our molars. Your permanent teeth are the ones you keep for life, so it is important that they are brushed and flossed regularly and checked by a dentist regularly.

I love Dr. George, my daughter was very afraid of going to the dentist before him. We had actually had 2 different doctors before him and they all made my daughter very scared and nervous. He was a God send. I have been with him for almost 5 years and he is awesome. From his calm voice while he is speaking to them to the little tune he hums while he is working, I couldn't have asked for a better dentist!!

The Dentist is very good with my 5yr old, he explains everything to her and is very patient . My daughter was very comfortable. We have been going there since she was 3yrs old. She needed major dental work! The doctor and his staff made it a very smooth experience for both of us. I highly recommend Dr Brett Wohlstetter.

The only good thing is the dentist is great with the kids, as for the rest, I am horrified that they dont use barriers on their equipment. The assistant was touching instruments with her bare hands and washing in the sink in the room. I asked if that is how they clean it, she says everything is cleaned at night!! which means the tools are reused all day on all the patients with out coming out of the sterile package. Im really upset by the low standards of hygiene at this office.

My husband took my (back then) 3 year old there. They did not let my husband and my other little son in the room with the doctor to listen. (i couldn't go because I couldn't take time off from work). My husband had to stand in the hallway. Dr Dierma took an ex ray of my 3 year old son's mouth and said he had a tiny cavity and wanted to "fix" it. He scheduled an appointment for the next week. My husband told me what he said and what he wants to do, I wanted to hear a different opinion and asked for copy of the X-ray. They did not want to give it to us. After calling numerous times they finally gave it and We took the X-ray to a different pediatric dentist and he did not see the tooth decay that dr dierma was talking about. And he found it unnecessary to do dental work on a 3 year old child. I would not recommend this place anyone.

I have been going here for 6 years now, the dentists are great! However the front staff have such poor communication skills and are beyond rude and do not give you the proper info for your kid to be seen. I made an appt 1 day prior telling the receptionist that my babysitter would be bringing her, when my child arrived with babysitter she was turned away due to not having a consent form signed. The receptionist then lied to me on the phone and acted as if i never told her babysitter would be bringing her. She never told me i needed a consent form. Horrible will never go back.
