Dr. Chris Rowland has been practicing pediatric dentistry since 2000. He attended Union University for his undergraduate studies and earned his dental degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. He went on to complete a pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Rowland is a Board Certified pediatric dentist and director of the dental clinic at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Dr. J.B. Selecman received his dental degree and completed his pediatric dental residency from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Dr. Selecman joined the practice in 2006 and as of 2009 became a partner in the practice. Dr. Selecman is a Board Certified pediatric dentist. He is also a published author and an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. He participates in the Christian Medical and Dental Association's mission trips to Latin America to perform dental services for local churches. He and his wife havethree children-- a daughter and twin boys.
Dr. Cary Daniel received his dental degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and has been in practice since 2002. He lectures to the public and is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Society, Memphis Dental Society, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Daniel also has a Masters Degree of Divinity and works two days a week at St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Dr. Daniel participates in mission work in Africa, Central America and the Ukraine. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and coaching high school basketball. He and his wife have three children, two girls and a boy.
Dr. Melody is originally from Germantown, TN. She attended the University of Tennessee for her undergraduate studies and earned her dental degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. She completed her pediatric dental residency in Tucson, AZ. During this time, she received the Pugh award by achieving the top 3% of scores in the nation on the pediatric dental board exam.
Dr. Melody is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Memphis Dental Society. Dr. Melody is active outside of dentistry with a growing family, church, and various non-profits. Dr. Melody's goal in practice is to have every child love coming to the dentist.

After a horrible experience at our old dentist, we brought my 6 yr old here for a evaluation to continue her treatment at a new dentist. My daughter laughed, and she felt more comfortable than ever before. Thank you for being so amazing.

My children has been apart of this dental group since the office in Collierville(2011). We moved away and still would drive hours to be seen by the team of dentist. We have never had issues or problems. If we decided to move away again I would still bring my children back for their yearly and anything else. You don't have quality anymore but when you do stick with them. We love this amazing group of people!!!

My child was not frightened or intimidated by the atmosphere. There were movies playing above the kids on the ceiling to keep them distracted. My child hates bright light so they even had sunglasses to distract from the lights! Very accommodating. Very little people oriented!

Our experience with Children's Dental Center was excellent! The whole staff was amazing and very nice. The dentist we seen was great with my son and very informational. We drove 1.5 hours for our visit and it was well worth it!

Dr Selecman was phenomenal with my toddler on his first dentist visit! He made the experience fun and not scary and engaged my toddler with dinosaur talk! I'm so thrilled that my child will not be afraid of the dentist! The hygenist was so patient and sweet! She made him feel so comfortable and went at his pace! Amazing staff and experience!
