In 2000, Dr. Badrieh Mahnaz Edalatpour opened her practice, Childrens Dental Care, which specializes in childrens dental care in Stoneham, MA many of her young patients like to call her Dr. B. She is a resident of Stoneham and active in the community including being a member of the organizing committee for the Stoneham Health and Wellness Expo.
Dr. Edalatpours clinic provides a fun environment for young children and is designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for her young patients as they learn about the importance of dental care. Dr. Bs clinic provides dental care for children from all different countries as well as those with special needs.
Dr. Edalatpour studied at Shiraz University Dental School in Iran and graduated in 1991 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She furthered her studies by enrolling at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with a degree in Pediatric Dentistry in 1997 and from the Advance Standing Program in 1999. She also completed Massachusetts Dental Societys Leadership Institute Program in 2011 and received an MBA from Bentley University in 2014. She also attended the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, and graduated in 1987 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
She served as a Chair for the East Middlesex district of MDS until June of 2014. She also served as a Guest Board Member of Massachusetts Dental Society offering input on a wide range of issues relating to MDS and the dental profession. She is an active member of other professional organizations, such as American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Massachusetts Hispanic Dental Association, Iranian American Medical Association, and she has led the Iranian American Dentists Network in Massachusetts (IADN) since 2011.
Dr. Edalatpour speaks fluent Turkish, Persian, and English and is also learning Portuguese. She is an avid traveler, having visited more than 30 different countries, including Brazil. Traveling is her favorite hobby along with yoga, martial arts and table tennis.
Dr. Sahar initially earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in Iran and subsequently worked there as a general dentist providing dental care for both kids and adults. She and her husband moved to the United States and she completed Advanced Standing Program at Boston University Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Her special interests include pediatric dentistry, dental education, and preventive dental care. She joined Childrens Dental Care team in December 2017. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Arash and daughter Nika, as well as cooking, going to group fitness classes and travelling.
Dr. John DOrlando has been with Childrens Dental of Stoneham for nearly ten years.. He is a graduate of Tufts University of Dental Medicine, Dr. DOrlando and has been in practice since 1971. He enjoys working with children as an associate with Dr. Badrieh Edalatpour and her staff of caring and dedicated dental specialists and hygienists.
In his spare time Dr. D enjoys research in American military history,of the War of 1812 era, and amateur astronomy. He also occasionally assists his wife, Bonnie in her work as a curator for a local historical society.

I am very grateful to have found this pediatric dental practice. The hygienists, and the dentist are patient and kind. They were incredibly understanding of my anxious, doctor/dentist cautious three year old, and were well prepared with various methods to help ease her anxiety. (It's worth mentioning that this is in stark contrast with our previous dentist hence why we are now patients here). The office is cheerful. There is a fish tank in the waiting room which helps with relaxation and provides a calm distraction. There is also magnet table for busier kids. There are friendly and familiar Disney characters on the walls, and a great selection of prizes for the end. There's even a bunny in the downstairs area that the kids can see and pet as a reward for getting through the visit (or in our case before the cleaning/service)-pretty special for the little ones. The dental care and attention to detail are exceptional. Its been all positives for us here.

If you have an infant/toddler that has never been to the dentist, please, please, P L E A S E do them and yourself a favor and go visit Dr, B's office. They made my toddlers first dental visit a JOY! They were patient with allowing my little one time to acclimate to the unknown environment as opposed to rushing him through the process. The entire staff, from the front desk, to Dr. B herself, came out to introduce themselves and make him feel welcomed and create excitement and wonder. From an Adult perspective, It was reassuring to see that the office was exceptionally clean and well appointed with very modern / current looking dental equipment. The Dental Chair was equipped with a tv playing a variety of loved programs, and all the walls were brightly colored and decorated with all manor of characters and animals, again, creating a cheerful and comforting space for my little guy's first visit. Something i want to make an extra effort to share with anyone reading this review. Miss Amber, our hygienists, was exceptional! She took the time to introduce all the equipment that would be used around his teeth, including letting him push the buttons for the air/water dispenser and the suction tube. This familiarization is EXACTLY what i had hoped for to allow for a relaxed and pleasant experience. Not to be outdone, Dr. B's visit concluded with an introduction to her pet bunny rabbit! My son is HOOKED!! He loved the dental visit, he WANTS to know when he can go back, He asks if it's time to brush and floss like Miss Amber and Dr. B did for him. My visit expectations were to hopefully not have my sont have a meltdown and subsequent aversion to regular dental visits. My reality is a child having an excellent, cooperative and involved dental visit, with the seed of preventative visits planted. Dr. B and her staff has earned not only my business, but my gratitude.

Children's Dental Care of Stoneham is absolutely amazing. The dentist and all the staff are so warm and caring and really go the extra mile for the kids. My children are always happy to go here because everyone makes them feel so at home, at ease, and honestly just like family.
