Our devoted staff is led by Dr. Staveris and supported by licensed assistants. As a unit, we strive to provide excellent preventive and restorative dental care under the most advantageous conditions. Dr. Staveris has been a practicing dentist since 1983 and is passionate about ensuring that his family of dental patients receives the best care possible. His practice is defined by his personal attention to everyone of his patients and his commitment to modern pediatric dentistry, delivered with skill, kindness, and care. Dr. Staveris is not your 'Doc in a Box!'
Children's Dental Care Michael A. Staveris, D.D.S. is licensed and insured and well-equipped to provide nitrous oxide sedation in our office if needed. Additionally, we have privileges with several local hospitals and surgery centers for certain dental cases, which may require general anesthesia.
I was born in Lodi and raised in Sacramento. After graduating in 1983 from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, I returned to practice in Sacramento. In that same year, I purchased my first Family Dental practice, where I continued to develop my skills and experience. After seven years, I realized I enjoyed Pediatric Dentistry over all the other Dentistry I performed. I decided to sell my practice and begin my 14 year association with Dr. Richard Mandelaris, a renowned Sacramento-Davis Pediatric Dentist. It was here that I immersed myself in clinical Pediatric Dentistry, and where I gained hospital privileges at many facilities. To date, with the experience from many thousands of satisfied patients, I am convinced it was the best choice I ever made. I opened my present Children's Dental Care Dr. Michael Staveris Roseville, in 2004, where I was eventually joined by two wonderful associates, Drs. Rosy Bandala and My Tran. My practice keeps growing, and I know this is due to our many satisfied patients.
My goal of providing the highest quality dentistry possible is only achievable if my practice, as with any business, remains financially solvent. To help our patients with the cost of receiving great dental care, we offer affordable fees, free insurance processing, interest free- easy payment plans and cash discounts.
The Following Sterilization Standards are set by the ADA and the CDC, and they are strictly adhered to by me, my associates and my entire dental staff. All instruments and surfaces that can contact directly or indirectly- our patients or us, are sterilized/disinfected using an instrument washer, steam autoclave and cold sterilization where appropriate. All ongoing sterilization efforts are strictly monitored weekly, and maintained by Cal-OSHA proscribed standards. We employ a 3rd party, weekly spore check of our autoclaves. I had the most wonderful experience with this dentist, and Dentist office. The staff here is so incredibly friendly! I came in on the wrong day, and they had no problem squeezing me in. The dental assistants are very friendly, and do their best to make sure your kiddo is comfortable. The dentist was so informative, he explains everything he's going to do to the kids and make sure that they are very comfortable before he even touches their teeth. He would often take breaks because it was my son's first cleaning , He would tell him as soon as you need a break let me know.He let my son take several breaks and I never felt rushed. I love this Dennis office I will speak highly of this office to everyone I know they took such good care of my boy. And my two other kids who are not having work done also got lollipops while they played in the playroom. I love this Dentist office! Highly highly recommend

I highly recommend this place. The Doctor and staff are all extremely professional and are spectacular at making kids comfortable. It is so important to teach children that going to the dentist is not something to be afraid of. You won't want any other dentist office for your children once they experience the high level of care received at this office. In fact it'll have you wishing they worked on adults.

Called to get pricing for my son who needs cavities filled and needs to be put under general anesthesia for them: the lady who answered (she wouldn't tell me her name) called me a bad parent because I told her my son does NOT need crowns on his BABY teeth!! Do not go to this place!! Horrible customer service!

Dr Starvis and his staff are absolutely amazing! My daughter had a terrible experience at one dentist and was so scared to even step inside his office and Rachel was so patient, friendly and helped put my daughter at ease. My daughter went in super scared (due to experience with her other dentist) and walked out smiling!

We recently moved to Roseville and I cannot be happier I chose Dr. Staveris to be my daughter's dentist. During her first visit the staff made sure she was not scared and didn't use any tools she was not comfortable with. She really loved the gifts she received at the end. A few days ago, she got her first loose tooth at 4y 9mo. She was seen immediately and after a quick xray I was assured her new teeth are on their way. Again, they made sure she was not afraid of the xray machine and made the visit a pleasant experience. Wonderful treatment. I highly recommend this office.

My daughter has been going here since age 4. The staff and Dentists have always given the best service and been upfront and honest about what's needed and what isn't. I'd highly recommend taking your kiddos here too.

I think it's time for Doctor to retire. He isn't ordering supplies needed to X-ray little ones (my daughter is 6) anymore, I was told on our visit yesterday. My daughter got a cleaning, a top X-ray and bottom but no sides, which is why we were in there in the first place she's been complaining about her molars. It was disappointing that the back room where you used to be able to play with video games and toys is blocked off for employees kids and has turned into a daycare center. Very unprofessional in my opinion. The doctor was running so behind that we had to leave without an examine from him, so we have no idea without X-rays or a doctor examine if my daughter has cavities. I did not book another appointment and will be looking for a new children's dentist practice that actually wants to service children.

Dr Mike Staveris and his staff are the best.they are so good with kids and put mommy's mind at easy too. I want to cry because we are moving out of state but I promise you, you won't be disappointed they are honestly the best group for child dental care.
