Born and raised in Honolulu, Dr. Todd is known for keeping children relaxed while they are sitting on the dentists chair. He received his bachelors degree from the University of Washington before completing his doctorate in dental surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
After completing his pediatric degree from Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. where he was appointed chief resident Dr. Todd returned to the island to take care of the children in the area.
A native of Honolulu, Dr. Christopher graduated from Punahou High School before graduating from the University of Washington and receiving his doctorate in dental surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
She then went on to complete her dental degree at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2012. It was there she met her husband, and decided to move to Hawaii. After dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry through NYU Lutheran at Kokua Kalihi Valley Community Health Center. It was during this time, her passion for Pediatric Dentistry and working with keiki sparked. Dr. Mary was appointed chief resident during her speciality training at the NYU Lutheran Pediatric Residency program in Hawaii.
Dr. Mary currently lives in Honolulu with her husband, Jared, and is adjusting to motherhood with her son, Oliver. Their dog, Mantou, is also adjusting. In her spare time, Dr. Mary enjoys binge watching tv shows, reading popular novels, and eating lots of delicious foods.

The Doctor and front desk staff is great. However every appointment we have to wait for about an hour because the Doctor is behind or delayed. I recommend to make appointments after school so your child don't miss to much school time.

My son is almost 16 now and I've taken him to Dr Lee since he was 2 year old. Dr Lee is an Amazing doctor! He is professional, knowledgeable and best of all great with kids! He takes his time explaining things and doesn't rush you out like some doctors are forced to theses days! I highly recommend him! My son doesn't mind going to the dentist like I did growing up! He is made to feel comfortable and at ease! So glad I can do this for my kid be an advocate and find him good medical care especially on a small island. Mahalo Dr Lee and his GREAT staff!!!! Highly recommended!

My children have been coming here for over a year now, when I first arrived to Island it was during COVID height. So you can only imagine being stationed here Army and needing to find a dentist for my children. I made one call and the team immediately scheduled us. We haven't had any surprises or issues here and I highly recommend anyone with children here. My sons love to visit Dr. Todd. Always excited to come. Dr. Todd is very nice and kids friendly. He knows how to make the kids feel comfortable. Now the elder one is almost 6 and younger one is almost 3. We are so thankful they have a right dentist from the beginning. Thank you Dr. Todd.

The staff are very polite and professional. We've been coming here for over a year now and I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of my daughters teeth. They're very understanding of her fear of the dentist from past experience and go above and beyond to make her comfortable. I highly recommend them!

This is our 3rd and final time coming here and every time there has been a 30 minute or more wait past my appointment time. Today was the final straw my appointment was at 8:30 we arrived at 8:25 waited outside with a group of about 4 families till 8:32. I called at 8:31 and that's when they said someone was coming to open the door. Our appointment was at 8:30 we were the first to sign in and yet 2 patients went before my son. They called us back at 8:52 and I believe it was only because I asked how much longer till they call him. It is now 9:21 and we are still waiting for them to start. Hopefully my son will not need to but , Next time his regular dentist refers me to here I will ask for a different dentistry. This is ridiculous I would rather they told me a different time versus being here way before 8:30 and waiting over 50 minutes! I will update this post with the time we are actually seen. Also no one has apologized or checked on us since we have been back here to let us know what's taking so long.

My experiences at this office have always been top tier. Every time I bring my kids in, the staff is courteous, professional, and beyond helpful. Dr. Asato is warm and genuine and he treats my kids like people and not patients.
