Dr. Lawrence Lipton has a long and influential career in pediatric dentistry. He graduated from Tufts University in 1972, finishing his pediatric specialty training in 1974. That same year, Dr. Lipton started his first dental practice in Bridgeport, CT. A decade later, Dr. Lipton opened his second location in Fairfield and continues to serve both communities.
Professionally, Dr. Lipton has been active in organized dentistry for over 50 years. He has served as president of the Connecticut State Dental Association, has served in numerous board and committee roles with the American dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Lipton also holds Fellowships in all the major dental honor societies.
As an expert in the field of pediatric dentistry, Dr. Lipton handles referrals from many dentists throughout Connecticut and is often called to help with more involved cases from fellow pediatric dentists in the area. Dr. Lipton has been a dental pioneer in the both Connecticut and the Nation. His practice was the first pediatric dental office to offer hard tissue laser for dental restorative procedures. He was instrumental in having Fluoride varnish approved as a procedure for dentistry now a common, standard practice.

Worst dentist ever!!. He did unnecessary surgery on my son's mouth and now it keeps getting infections and that only solution is to pull out my son's teeth. Dont recommended for young/small kids to go there.

Stay away! He does unnecessary procedures in kids, treating oclusal spots as cavities. My son's lips were swollen when he got home and he became terrified of dentists!

Lately their scheduling is horrible. My child had an appointment and they cancelled because the dentist took the day off. They rescheduled for two weeks later which I was ok with until I show up and they AGAIN can't see her and tell me their next available isn't for nearly a month!

Worst place to go to. Wanted to do unnecessary dental work to my 5 yr old with out my consent. Left the place and never went back next thing I know is that they sent my wife to collections for a 300$ bill which they never mailed me or informed me I owed. I would not go to this place ever again!!! STAYAWAY!!
