Dr. Cheryl was born and raised in Austin. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcosin 1994 with a biology degree. She entered the School of Dentistry at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and receivedher Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1999.
Dr. Cheryl continued her dental education by attending the Medical College of Georgia Dental College, where she obtained a two-year specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry in 2001. She continued further toachieveDiplomate status with American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Cherylalso regularly attends professional meetings and yearly continuing education courses to stay uptodate with the current standards of pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Cheryl has been in private practice in New Braunfelssince 2001. She initiallyworked alongside Dr. Rita Warren, then became owner of Childrens Dentistry of New Braunfels in 2003. In 2009, she expanded to a new state-of-the-art facility and renamed the practice: Childrens Dental Ark.
Dr. Cheryl and her husband have adaughter, three cats, and an awesome Bulldog. She enjoys lake time with her family on the weekends, crafts, and cooking with her daughter. Her family is a super devoted moviegoing family and makes it a point to see as many movies as possible. They also enjoy travelingtogether when lucky enough to do so.
Dr. Kit graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in neuroscience in 2002. While inschool, he met his wife Michelle, a proud native Texan. After his graduation, he attended dental school at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. He completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Kit is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He trained in all facets of pediatric dentistry, with an emphasis in sedation, anesthesia, trauma, and medically complex patients.
Dr. Kit is the proud father of four beautiful girls and two energetic boys. He and his family have fallen in love with the city of New Braunfels and are busy with soccer, dance, gymnastics, and on the occasion whenDr. Kit has a free moment, basketball and softball.

Robin is a registered dental hygienist. She graduated in 2004 from TX State with a BFA and pursued education. Robin enjoyed education but wanted something different. In 2008, she graduated with her BS in hygiene from UTHSCSA. Robin knew her passion would be working with children and sought a position in pediatrics. She has been with the Childrens Dental Ark since 2011.
Robin is a New Braunfels native and lives here with her husband and daughter. She and her husband enjoy traveling as often as possible and have had the pleasure of visiting many countries around the world.
Dawn has been practicing dental hygiene since 2006 when she earned her dental hygiene degree at WCJC. With over 10 years experience in pediatrics, she joined the Childrens Dental Ark team in 2018 after moving to this area. Dawn resides in Seguin, Texas with her husband, Travis, and her three children, Chance, Ensley and Easton. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, hunting and fishing.
Angel is a native Texan and grew up in Carthage, Texas. She has been a dental hygienist since 1996. She worked in general dentistry for 15 years before making the switch to pediatrics in 2011. She truly enjoys working with the kids at the Childrens Dental Ark and feels very fortunate to work in a profession where she gets to help people on a daily basis.
Sarah was born and raised in west Texas. She graduated from Howard College in Big Spring Texas in 2015 with an A.A.S. in dental hygiene. After a short time in general dentistry Sarah found her calling working in pediatrics where she has stayed since March of 2007. She joined the Dental Ark team in June of 2015. Her passion and focus is the impact nutrition has on not just the mouth, but the body as a whole. She loves teaching her patients and their parents diet and lifestyle changes that improve their overall health.
Emily was born on the East Coast and grew up in New Jersey and Northern Virginia. She moved to Texas during her high school years and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors in Marketing. Emily pursued a career in medical sales and marketing covering Southeast Texas and Louisiana. Emily, her husband and three children relocated to New Braunfels in 2011 and she began working at the Childrens Dental Ark 2013. As Practice Administrator, Emily is on top of business trends, community and school marketing, insurance and billing and team development.
Emily stays busy with her children Madelyn, Aiden and Liam and enjoys supporting them in basketball, baseball and cheer. In her free time she enjoys island/river time with good friends, traveling and spending timewith her family, photography and reading.
Kristen started working as a dental assistant in 2007 and gained extensive clinical knowledge. She began working for the Childrens Dental Ark in 2014 and absolutely loves working in a pediatric dental office. Kristen is now our insurance coordinator and can answer all your insurance and coverage needs.
Stefanie works as our treatment coordinator at the Childrens Dental Ark. She has worked in the dental field since 2009 and been with our office since 2016. Her dental career started while in North Carolina, working at an active duty military dental office. There, she worked to prepare our troops to be dental ready and able to deploy to fight for our country. She was lucky enough to travel to Europe and live in Sicily, Italy. While in Sicily, she continued her dental career at Naval Base Sigonella.
Stefanie and her two children are native Texans and now reside in New Braunfels, Texas. She loves volunteering in the community and educating children on the importance of dental care and keeping those smiles bright! She loves her Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Longhorns, enjoys watching her son play baseball and football and relives her glory days watching her daughter in gymnastics and cheer.
Keli grew up in the surrounding New Braunfels/ San Antonio area. She joined Childrens Dental Ark in 1996 and is very experienced and skilled in dental procedures for children. She loves interacting with our patients and helping our parents feel at ease. Keli enjoys spending her free time with her husband, teenage son and daughter. She enjoys family trips to the beach.
Kim was born in California and moved to New Braunfels with her family in 1984. She has been with Childrens Dental Ark since 1999. As a dental assistant, Kim is trained to make our patients experiences as easy as possible. She is always available to answer treatment questions you may have. Kim enjoys spending quality time with husband and two sons. She is an avid gardener and New Braunfels Unicorn Band Mom!
Brooke is a native Texan and has been a dental assistant since 2000. She joined the Childrens Dental Ark in 2009. Brooke always wears a smile and is well-trained to make our patients visits as pleasant as can be. In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

Excellent place! Took my nephews after going to another dentist and having the worst experience ever.... This Dentist is awesome! Made us feel really welcomed, very fast and super amazing to work with. Thanks guys I will be bringing my nephews back! Really recommend them guys!

I love Children's Dental Ark. I've been with them since 2013 and all 6 of my children go there. Even when we moved out of the city I continued to bring them back to this dentist: it's worth the drive. Dr. Kip is very skilled, very friendly, and doesn't make me feel judged if my kids need some correction on brushing habits or get cavities. His staff is also friendly. The kids love the set up and my younger kids literally cheer when they get to go see the dentist! I love that I have always been able to go back with my kids and watch every procedure. That was very important to me. They also take MCNA which is through Medicaid. I could not have found a more perfect dentist for our family! I'm so thankful for them.

Super sweet!!! I actually had 2 appointments scheduled. My oldest daughter got called into work, and she had just started the job, at the last minute and I felt horrible that it would leave a hole in their schedule but they kept re-assuring me that it was ok. They were so amazing and comforting and of course the doc made my baby feel so comfortable and he never made me feel rushed even when I was asking questions.

We have been patients at the Dental Ark for several years now, and I can't recommend them highly enough. They've taken care of my kiddos through procedures, injuries and accidents, as well as excellent routine dental care. The entire staff is wonderful!

We just left our first appointment here and it was absolutely wonderful. We were referred by our family dentist, Dr. Litton because my 5 year old needs more extensive work. First of all, it's a very clean, bright office. There's a little playhouse which my daughter loved and some books to look at. The office staff was very friendly. We were seen almost immediately for our appointment after filling out a couple pages of new patient paperwork. Dr. Kit called us back and was very thorough in explaining everything to me and making me feel comfortable with everything we talked about. I asked a lot of questions and he was able to answer them all. I trust him completely to choose the best care for my daughter.

My children and I absolutely recommend Children's dental Ark. The office is warm and welcoming! It's easy to access in a great location. You guys all did a fantastic job! Front desk was great! Hygienist was great! Doctor was fantastic! I appreciate the time that he took with us today. I value his approach. He's definitely not in dentistry to make money, he's in it because he cares about his patients. And it truly shows. This was our first visit and we look forward to being forever patients, or at least until the kids are to old! Thank you guys so very much!

Dr. Kit and his staff are amazing, quick and so friendly with my babes. I have three kids, one who has had several fillings and his experience at The dental ark has been as good, if not better, than our previous dentist that we had to leave when we moved. Bedside manner is everything to little ones with anxiety about the dentist and these folks are incredible.

My children have received excellent care each time they've stepped into the Dental Ark office. I am grateful for the promptness of the appointment time (our appointments have always started at appointment time or before if we arrived early), the friendliness and warmth of all staff members, the cleanliness of the office, waiting room, and patient rooms, the professionalism and friendliness of the hygienists and dentists, and the ease of scheduling. And we love the decor. The thoughtfully beautiful decor is a cherry on top of an already great patient experience. My youngest recently suffered a traumatic mouth injury that landed her in the emergency room after hours. When I called the Dental Ark early the next morning, they were quick to get her in the office. Dr. Cheryl and staff gently and lovingly examined my little one leaving her and her parents at ease. They unhurriedly answered our questions, told us what to expect in the coming days, and assured us of her eventual healing while sharing possible negative outcomes. We left feeling empowered with knowledge of how to handle potential infections or issues while also being aware of the possible positive outcomes. They also told my husband and me that should we ever find ourselves in a similar emergency, we should not hesitate to call them as well. We are so grateful to be well cared for by kind and personable professionals. And it needs to be mentioned that my kiddos' favorite part is the treasure box visit at the end of the appointment. Thank you, Children's Dental Ark.

The dentist who saw my two-year old was a real pro at getting him to open his mouth in spite of my boy's vigorous opposition (he was screaming like a buzz saw hitting a nail). They were very competent and sweet! Highly recommend!
