Dr. Michael C. Tew received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and graduated with his DDS from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, in 2001. His pediatric specialty training was completed at the University of Texas in Houston in 2003. Dr. Tew is board certified as a pediatric dentist and has been honored throughout his dental training with awards and scholarships for both his clinical and academic excellence.
Dr. Rupp, a board certified pediatric dentist, finds great satisfaction in working with children and helping them have a positive dental experience. By combining a compassionate, fun and professional approach, Dr. Rupp is able to establish a sense of trust with each patient. As a father of nine young children, Dr. Rupp is able to relate to parents and their desire for their child to receive exceptional dental care. Dr. Rupp was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry shortly after concluding his formal training.
Dr. Rupp received his dental degree from the Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in 2003, where he graduated with honors and clinical honors. While in dental school, he received the Certificate of Merit Award from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as the Predoctoral Student Award in pediatric dentistry from the Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He completed his pediatric specialty training at the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry, the Childrens Medical Center of Dallas, and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
While at the Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Rupp also earned a Master of Science Degree in health professions education. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Education Association. Dr. Rupp is also part of the dental faculty team at Primary Childrens Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
After receiving his undergraduate degree in public health at Brigham Young University, Dr. Justin Moody earned his DDS at the University of Utah School of Dentistry in 2018. He completed his pediatric dental residency at Primary Childrens Hospital and takes continuing education courses on a regular basis. He is a recipient of the Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry Award from the University of Utah School of Dentistry and is eligible for the Pediatric Dental Board. As a dentist, Dr. Moody strives to provide a dental home for the children of Utah, where they can receive excellent oral healthcare in a peaceful environment.
Dr. Burt grew up in Utah and completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University. He went to dental school at Creighton and received his pediatric training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. His family includes his wife, Kim, and six kids. He and his beautiful wife have been married for over 15 years. Their family likes to be outdoors, enjoying the mountains and the beautiful seasons in Utah together. He enjoys coaching and watching his boys and daughter play sports. They are active in football, baseball, basketball and soccer. They love to play board games and visit grandparents and cousins. They also love to cook.
Kimberly earned her Associate of Arts degree from Kent State University and became a member of our team in 2018. She strives every day to ensure that our office runs smoothly and manages our front desk and back office team. She finds working at Children's Crossing wonderful because everyone works hard. While our office is busy our team members enjoy being with one another. She wants our patients to feel warm and welcome at every visit.
Kimberly has been married to her fabulous husband Brian for more than 25 years. They have been blessed with four awesome children, Zach, Lauren, Tess and Ella and two sons-in-law, John and Nick. They also have a grandson, Liam who Kimberly says is the one who is truly in charge! They love to spend time together camping, boating and exploring our beautiful country. She invites you to call her with any questions regarding our office procedures administrative systems.
Christy loves working with children and our amazing office staff. She sees that our dentists always provide the best patient care possible. That is important to her as an employee and a grandmother who brings her own grandchildren to the office.
Christy has been married to her best friend, Donald Rodgers since 1992. They have three children and six grandchildren. She loves being a GiGi more than anything and her family is one of the most important parts of her life. When she is not at work she enjoys interior decorating, crafting, playing volleyball and being Mrs. Clause at Christmas time!
Makay has been married to her soulmate since 2011. They have three dogs, two huskies names Scout and Skyler and Baylee and Yorkie. They also have two cats, Molli and Milo. In her off hours, Makay looks forward to spending time with her husband and their five fur babies and playing piano and singing.
Asenath has been with our office since 2018. She appreciates the way our team is like a family and how everyone works together in the best interests of the patients. She also appreciates the fun and positive attitude at our office that makes it an enjoyable environment. And of course, she loves working with our cute patients and their families!
Emilee has been a member of the Children's Crossing team since 2015. She is a graduate of Mountainland Technical Colleges dental assistant program. She assists our doctors and patients during procedures and loves everyone she works with, including all of our patients.
Emilee and her husband Cameron are expecting a new baby girl and they have two dogs, a lab named Ivry and Clive, an Australian Shepherd. When she is not taking care of smiles, Emilee enjoys volleyball, playing games with her family and playing with her dogs.
Aubree attended Mountainland Technical College and is an ASA-certified dental assistant. She joined our team in December 2017. She is the best tongue scrubber in the west and always works to help kids have a great experience at our office.
Cailey has been a part of Children's Crossing since 2016 and is a graduate of Mountainland Technical College. She loves the fact that she gets to see her closest friends every day at work. She is an effective, efficient worker who is genuine with her patients.
Kenzee was working toward her CNA license at Mountainland Technical College before deciding to change careers. She has been a dental assistant since 2014 and joined our office in 2019. Kenzee loves being a part of a team that is like a family and assists the doctors with treatments, takes X-rays and assists with hygiene.
Halle graduated from MTech with a degree in Dental Assisting and joined our office in August 2018. She loves working with kids and our amazing staff and makes sure that the kids are comfortable and happy to be at the dentist.

My 7 year old daughter needed to get 4 teeth pulled in order to begin orthodontic work. When I made the appointment, I was told over the phone that the only sedation available was laughing gas and lidocaine. Although I felt uneasy about it, I trusted the process and went ahead and booked the extraction. She was given a numbing gel before getting her shots but by the time the shots were actually ready, the gel had worn off, so my poor daughter felt all of it. THEN, the dentist didn't even wait for her to numb up before extracting all 4 teeth. So she felt all of that as well. Needless to say, she was absolutely traumatized. AFTER the extractions were complete, the dentist asked me why I chose this method of sedation, that he wouldn't have ever recommended her being awake for this. I then told him that I was told this was my only option. He said he would talk to the receptionist and let her know she was mistaken, but in our case, its too late and I now have a child who is terrified of the dentist.

This place is warm, clean, decorated so fun for the kids, and it smells good! The staff is so patient and kind to my special needs child. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left, every single staff memeber was smiling, warm and welcoming. We are so happy we found this place.

I live nearby, about 25 minutes away. there are plenty of other providers before here, but we chose them based on how they were. My daughter has a genetic disorder with her teeth where enamel didn't grow in over the dentin. So we had gone to a few to get the advice of a few doctors.: he calmed me the most. I paid the bill they did the work so wonderfully. It was just as expected and she looks and acts so happy now. I don't think she even noticed they were different except ppl would compliment her beautiful teeth.. The office is so cute the kids love it. And also, they are very workable.. I couldn't pay for an appointment right upon leaving and they let me pay it later.. just talk with them, get a payment plan.. love the doctors and the staff is always wonderful.. I love this place.. they also give tokens for kids when they're done.. they always give them to all my kids when they're all good.. my children will come here, always. Just an update Still seeing dr rupp! He's great with my kids and he is good at explaining teeth and progression to me.

We love Children's Crossings Pediatric Dentistry! The reception staff is so helpful and friendly. The offices are always tidy and orderly. We never wait very long for appointments and the higenists are so patient and gentle with my children. My children love to go to the dentist and get their teeth cleaned. CCPD makes going to the dentist fun and not scary for my children. We have been going there for about 4 years and have had nothing but positive interactions.

We love Childrens Crossing Pediatric Dentistry! I have been bringing my four kids here for about 4 years. We love it so much that we commute 45 min for our visits. Everyone is so kind and friendly. I have a few anxious kids and they've done amazing! The staff keeps them comfortable and in the loop about what's going on, as well as quick and efficient! My daughter had sedation done at one point and I can believe how simple and easy it was, no pain or fear for her! Dr. Rupp is amazing! He's friendly and conservative, he doesn't suggest anything he doesn't feel is completely necessary which I definitely appreciate! He does a great job and sensing how your child is feeling and makes them comfortable and gets us in and out. I also appreciate the ease of scheduling and love that I get emails and reminders! We will continue to make the drive up. Thanks for being amazing!

We love children's crossing! They have been instrumental in helping my children get used to the dentist and over their fears of getting x rays and their teeth cleaned. We love all the assistants and dentists! Even the billing staff is great and super nice. We've had to have a lot of random work done like getting and expander put in and taken out, we've had several teeth pulled and recently a procedure to remove a tongue tie and they've been so great for every thing! I have zero complaints. Love this place!

I've been taking my kids here for 2 years. They are great during dental emergencies and regular care. I'm terrified of the dentist but wouldn't have been if I had had a place like this as a kid. Everyone is kind to the kids and the place has a great feel. And they have been very generous and understanding with their reschedule policy.

We LOVE our dentist! The office is warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and easy to talk to. My kids love going to the dentist to pick prizes and get their teeth cleaned.
