Zero stars! Traveled 2 hrs to an appointment that was scheduled only to find the doors were locked and office closed. No communication via text / phone call stating a need to reschedule our appointment. Terrible experience.

Dr. Burgess and his staff were very accommodating and friendly! He was patient with me while I asked lots of questions. He was sweet and gentle with my 6 year old son who had a bad experience the week before at another office. He left feeling comfortable and unafraid of "the dentist". Thank God!

My husband was very upset after our son's visit today. He said the young ladies were great with him but the Dr. never spoke to our son before he came up behind him, shined the bright light in his eyes and grabbed his head. He instructed my husband to hold my son's arms down despite the fact that our 4 year old had done very well in the past when he was told what was going on and about to happen to him. Upon leaving, my son's take away was "he grabbed my head and shined the bright light in my eyes and I don't want to go back" despite having a very good visit in the past. I'm not sure if the doctor was having a bad day or if this the new norm for children's dentistry. The only way I could explain it to my husband is they want to get them in and out as quickly as possible and don't care about their feelings or discomfort just like in the slaughterhouse industry. I chose this dentist based on my son's age when he was less than a year old so we've been there more than a handful of times but it seems it is time to look for a regular dentist that will accommodate someone his age. I would have left 1 star but the female staff impressed my husband.
