We believe in the importance of patient education and promise to speak candidly about your treatment options and progress. Intraoral pictures of your teeth are taken, and your needs are thoroughly reviewed with you.
Several options will be reviewed, so your financial situation will be considered as well. Not everyone can afford the Lamborghini treatment plan, but restoring your smile and chewing ability can be accomplished with a treatment plan you will be comfortable with. We can stage out your treatment so you can smile and eat while going through the process of completing your treatment plan.
Many dental colleagues, hospital ERs, and medical offices from pediatric to plastic surgery to oncology have referred difficult cases of all ages (from 6 months to 103 years). Some were phobic children and adults looking for an alternative to sedation or hospitalizing for their needed dental work. Others just needed to find an office that would understand them.
If sedation is necessary for a child or adult, we can block out time in Health Park Hospitals operating room dental suite and perform any needed dental care under the sedative supervision of a hospital anesthesiologist. Dr. Schwartz has been on staff at all of Lee Memorial Health Care Hospitals for over 20 years.
Ive been fortunate enough to run a thriving family dental practice in Fort Myers, FL since 1992. During that time, Ive had the privilege of working with families that are the best clients a dentist could ask for. My greatest reward continues to be watching my patients grow older with an attractive, healthy smile and absolutely no dental fear.
I began my career at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, earning a Bachelor in Science and subsequent Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and a minor in periodontics from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. I was proud of making the Deans list all four years, set a school record for operative dentistry and periodontal work, including surgeries. I am so honored that I was a student of that outstanding school and its programs. The training and education given have allowed me to live up to my belief of Committed to Excellence all these years.
In the beginning, our office was small, about 1500 sq. ft. and was originally owned by a pediatrics dentist (kids-only). We took over in August 1992, the day of Hurricane Andrew, and converted it to a full family Dental office, seeing patients of all ages. Over the years, we have made several house calls and even a gas station call on the way out of town. Our clients have my direct cell phone, and we are available to them 24/7. Being able to help someone with answering a question can make all the difference with peace of mind and potentially avoid a problem.
In 2000 we started the process of designing a new space, and in 2003 we built this wonderful and modern office building with a touch of artistry and uniqueness. The building won 3 awards for Best Unbuilt in 2003, Best Built-in 2005, and the Best Medical/Dental Professional building statewide in 2006. Building through two hurricanes and a cement shortage, we occupied in June 2005 and planned to be here until I cant pick up a toothbrush anymore.
Our patients understand that pre-planning is critical in dentistry. Being able to see the end through each step from the beginning is very important in order to restore a patients dentition and oral health. We also use only the finest materials and labs in the United States. We do not send out our work to China. We also stand behind our work. Crowns have an offer of a 7-year warranty and free lifetime maintenance on sealants.

Thank you so much Dr Schwartz for your professional work. Amazing dentist and I'm going to be honest, he really tried and succeeded in making the pain as little as possible. All ladies that work for him are amazing too. I'll moving from town but I'd come back for the dental work.

These people started billing me for a service I did not receive. I haven't even lived in FL for 10 years! But they persist. It's for less than $10, and they are threatening to send it to collections. I will pay it, but it makes me wonder how many other people and insurance companies they are scamming. When I did live in Florida, I used them once. They recommended an expensive procedure. When I got a second opinion, I was told it was completely unnecessary and the tooth is fine. There must be better dentists in Fort Myers

Awesome place! A little panicked thought my 11yr old chipped his tooth while trying to pull it out. They saw us after 5 in an emergency, turned out the tooth was the new one pushing through. No charge, thank you so much. On that note made him a good cleaning appointment. With the influx of people moving here it was nice to grab an appointment only a week out.

I have MAJOR dental anxiety that has kept me from a dentist for far too long. Dr. Schwartz never once made me feel stupid or silly for being so nervous. He laid out a detailed plan, talked in length about what needed to be done and promised me that I wouldn't be in any pain or discomfort. I used laughing gas the first visit and haven't needed it since! He is so gentle and kind, he even called me the night of my first procedure to check on me. You won't go wrong choosing him for your dental work. I can't say enough praises for Dr. Schwartz and his team. I may even go as far as saying I'm excited for my upcoming appointment.

Companies are paid to whitewash reviews. When you see reviews that are all one star and 5 stars you should be very weary that most reviews are actually fictional. GET A SECOND OPNION . THERE IS NO AND I MEAN NO "SPECIAL CAMERA" THAT DETECTS CAVITIES!!!! GOLD STANDARD IS A STICK TEST WITH A DENTAL PICK. EDUCATE AND PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR LOVED ONES. GET A SECOND OPNION!!!!!

Worst and unprofessional staff between receptionist and Manger Sonia. I got a bill of. 297 because they failed to verify proper and go by protocol upon checking in and out not charging anything u til 3 days later. Sonia the manager very rude points finger at patients face a d kicks them out when she l own her staff and herself failed to do the job correctly. They need younger staff these old ladies. Grandma wise shouldn't be working in medical field if they don't know anything and answers I don't know what a joke feel sorry the company. Worst Nd unprofessional staff ever!!!! Be careful they after your money.

My first-time visit to Dr. Shwartz's office was wonderful. I was put at ease immediately by his very friendly staff, who went above and beyond to make sure they made my appointment was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Schwartz explained everything to me in great detail and answered any questions that I had regarding my dental health. I can't say enough about how smoothly my visit went and how gentle, kind, helpful, and well-informed Dr. Schwartz and his staff are. If you are unhappy with your current dental situation, I would highly recommend contacting Dr. Schwartz's office. You won't regret it!

Dr Schwartz is the only dentist I will ever see. He pulled 22 of my teeth, and I had no pain...NONE. I would recommend him first and foremost. Im 57, and have been to 100 dentists. By far my best dental experience. As a person with a total dentist phobia, Dr. Schwartz made the process painless. He relieved my anxiety, any pain and my nerves and although I won't say I "enjoyed" the experience, not once was I white knuckled or anxious. The staff at Children and Adult Dentistry are kind, caring, considerate and all around a great team. They remember me by name each time I come to their office and make me feel at ease.. I know I need a bunch more work and although I'm not looking forward to it, I know it will be a pain free and anxiety free process thanks to Dr. Schwartz and the staff.

With insurance, they found enough dental work to charge me $2,000 for a root canal, multiple fillings, and even a tooth pulling. They gave me a silver filling on a molar and refused to give me a white one (I am 24 and didn't know that silver fillings on adult teeth cause them to crack and break the tooth). He was rude and pressured me into considering gold fillings and told me the only way to fix my teeth was with Veneers. I switched to another dentist who told me the Doctor there is known to overcharge and scam people out of money. The real cost to fix my teeth was $100. No fillings, no teeth pulling, and definitely no root canal because I have ZERO cavities. I have to get the silver filling removed and get a replacement before my tooth breaks. Can't believe I fell for this place.

I haven't been to the dentist in years and was terrified of a basic cleaning. Dr Schwartz and his team have made me feel comfortable. I trust his advice as to what needs to be done with my teeth. I'm extremely satisfied with their services. I've had two root canals, a filing and a few cleanings since my first visit and not once was I in pain. I have never felt pressured to have a procedure done. Thanks Dr Schwartz!

This was a great experience I was in a extreme pain for months I called this office they got me in immediately. I'm now pain free great experience with the staff and dr are very nice thorough about every step from the front desk to the assistants everyone is on the same page this office really knows what they are doing. I was a new patient but this will definitely be my family dentist moving forward thank you guys!

DR SCHWARTZ TOOK GREAT CARE OF ME AND MADE SURE ANY PROBLEMS I HAVE HAD WERE FIXED WITH GREAT QUALITY. HE HAS ALWAYS WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE SURE I AM OKAY.
