I enjoyed my training in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry. I am thankful my instructors who were great role models to me. They taught me and helped me to become a qualified and effective pediatric dentist. I am also thankful for the memories of working with so many awesome children. It is always a great thing to help a child to be happy and healthy. My trainingwas extensive and difficult, but worth it.

We live in St. George. I am very involved with my family and community. I have served our awesome community and the surrounding area since 1992. We love it here. I am originally from Holladay, Utah. Tresa is from Rose, Idaho.

I'd like to give other mom's in st. George about our experience with 2 dental offices in town... My son had went to Dr. Brown's originally for his first dental experience. The staff was unsure how to help handle or comfort my son, they sedated him and gave him a terrible experience.. he decided to drill 4 of my sons front teeth into little nubs ( because he had chipped his 2 front teeth and started to decay )... bentley (my son) was horrified after that. I couldn't even take him into my own doctor's office or into any office type setting for several months. I felt like a terrible mom... unsure of what to do next, we decided to make an appointment at St. George Kids Dental over off mall drive in front of the new smith's, by stapley's pharmacy... Let me tell you this... the staff was overly phenomal and they were so good with kids. My son sat through his whole appointment and did everything he was asked too.. he did so good today! Safe to say he isnt afraid of the dentist anymore!!! Bad news I got was that the previous dentist drilled my son's teeth so far close to the gum line that he now can't have caps put on them, and he has to wait till hes 6 or 7 to loose those teeth naturally. I hope this helps all you mom's out there looking for a children's dentist. St. George kids dental is the best ever!!!

I have been taking my kids here for 12 years. Amazing staff and they are always so patient with my kids, with 4 girls sometimes the do great sometimes they put up resistance and the staff is always able to convince my girls to do what needs to be done. Wont go anywhere else.

Our children have gone here for about 8 years. The kids like the experience and the movies playing, the waiting room, the stickers & sugar free lollipop. The dentist is always very friendly and easy to talk to and good at putting kids at ease and explaining things. I like that they have worked to accommodate getting 2 or 4 children appointments at a time. They also are good to call if there are cancellations to get you in sooner. However, it feels a little "old school" for example no one wears eye covers and they just wash with sanitizing lotion. They talk to the kids a little about brushing but not as much as I wish they would--especially with older kids. I also don't love getting 2-3 reminder calls for every appointment (the Friday before and then again the morning of the appointment.)

We love Dr. Brown! We've been coming here for almost 8 years and now 3 kids. They are great about scheduling multiples together and it's easy to get appts. Dr. Brown is great with the kids and knows just how to calm them down and make it a good experience. He explains everything in terms they can understand and the entire staff is very friendly. They don't push too much work that can be traumatic and give you options without pressure to do more than is necessary. I really like that I don't feel like they are bribing the kids to get their teeth taken care of (other places have video games, overwhelming decorations, excessive prizes, etc.). That's actually one of the reasons we chose them in the first place and I've never regretted it. Great dental care and great service. Definitely recommend!

Dr Brown is amazing and truly loves working with kids. Whatched another child bite his fingers and he made it seem like it didn't even happen. Handled it like a champ. The staff here are super friendly and patient. My child actually loves going to the dentist. The waiting area in fun with toys, a play house and a large fish tank. We have had literally nothing but a great experience here. I would strongly suggest you come here for all your child's dental needs. This place really cares.

Our kids have had many "weird" dental issues. Dr. Brown and his staff have always been able to help us with fantastic care and explanation of what is happening or point us in the direction of other professionals (oral surgeon, orthodontist) who also give excellent care. My kids love getting their teeth cleaned and I love that we have always been able to count on Dr. B and his staff!

I've been taking my kids here for 7 years and always been happy with the care. They were very accommodating when I wanted to bring my toddler in for a look around before his actual visit, and at his first appointment, were very careful to make it a good experience for him. He was understandably nervous the first time, but hasn't ever had any trouble going after that because they made it so easy. They've always been easy to work with and they haven't ever left us waiting, which I really appreciate. He's been proactive about when we should consider pulling teeth that just aren't budging, to reduce the orthodontic work that might otherwise be necessary. And one time when my daughter had aged out of pediatric dental but needed a root canal asap, they helped me find another office that could get it done the same week. I really appreciated that because I was calling all over town but hadn't been able to find anyone available, and Wendy helped make it happen. The only thing I'd suggest being aware of is that there's no reason to continue seeing a pediatric dentist after your child has lost all their baby teeth. At that point, they should go to a regular dentist.
