I would not recommend Dr. Zollman. I went in a few years ago for an extraction. Everything seemed fine as I sat in the chair waiting but as soon as he entered, I felt this sense of annoyance from him. He just didn't seem happy to be there. Didn't seem like he enjoyed his job. He hardly said one word to me, and proceeded to extract my tooth. This is not a fun experience, so at one point, I slightly wiggled my foot. My FOOT. That's it. And suddenly he stops abruptly, THROWS his tools down on the tray and says -word for word-, "Ok. If you're gonna sit there and move around like that, I'm not gonna do this. You need to sit still or you can just go somewhere else with this tooth half pulled for all I care." ....what. I lifted my hands up off the arms of the chair as if to say, "Alright." and he finished the procedure then he walked out without a word. Needless to say, I never went back, and I don't recommend the place one bit.

We took our 4 year old daughter there for a year. Very bad decision. The staff wasn't very friendly, they would send cards to the house for appointments and then when we show up tell us we were a week early or late and be rude about it, like it was our fault when we showed them the card. My boyfriend asked them on the third visit what they were going to do about some cavities our daughter had and they said nothing.

This man is amazing and his staff is so welcoming and personable. They took my sad little smile and turned it into a sparkling shield of confidence!!! He was quick and gentle. Such an easy procedure that I was originally scared to have, but he made it so smooth. I had anxiety about the shots in mouth and he was patient with me. He drives all the way from Joseph Oregon twice a week just to help people like me and you. I am grateful for his kindness and expertise!!! Thank you for helping me when no one else made it seem even possible

I wish I had a glowing review to share. Things started out so well. The staff is great and was able to help me get all four of my kids in to be seen on the same day as new patients. The receptionist was helpful and made it easy to fill out my forms. The hygienist was kind and my 6 year old son in particular was so excited to have his dentist appointment. When Dr. Steven R. Zollman first enters the room, I don't expect trouble. But I believe It started when I requested to turn down fluoride treatments for my children. The dentist started to speak down to me through his assistant (he didn't speak to me directly but through her) about my decision finally stating that if I made this choice I must acknowledge that any cavities my child gets would be "my fault". When I told him I was uncomfortable with the way the conversation was going and that I thought it was unprofessional for he to speak to me like that, he (finally speaking to me directly) told me to "get the f*** out of his office". Turning to his hygienist he thrust a finger in her direction and threatened that if he heard one more word from her she will be fired that day. And just like that he stormed out of the room and locked himself in his office. All the while my 6 year old son was sitting there listening to every word. Several of his assistants apologized profusely to us for the dentists behavior. My husband asked to speak to the dentist but he would not come out of his office to talk to him. Later as my husband and I sat outside in the car trying to decide what to do a police car arrived and we were informed that he was called to make sure we left the property. The police officer was very understanding and sympathetic once he heard our story. I am sure Steven must have been having a bad day as my request was simple. I hope he is able to work out the personal details that he must be dealing with and I have forgiven him in my heart. However, I feel it is important for others to be informed of the potentially explosive nature of this dentist before deciding to be seen by him.

This dentist is completely unprofessional and used strong language in front of a child. He was also demeaning to his staff. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Try Kent B. Simmons in the Orchards instead. He has awesome bed manner with my kiddo! I couldn't wish for a better dentist with my 7 yr old!

What a piece of trash. Extremely unprofessional, has terrible bedside manner, throws tantrums worse than a 3 year old child. He should have his license revoked. I cant believe he has any business to start with.

Rightfully publicly shamed by leading medical professionals. See post in your baby, your way on Facebook. Dr Zollman not only was unethical in trying to force known toxic chemicals into a toddler but when the patients parent refused and questioned him he swore profusely in front of the said child and storm out, threatening to fire his own staff who so horrified at his appalling behavior tried to apologize for his unforgivable and unprofessional manner. This Dr will hopefully be reported to the licensing authorities. Financial gain is obviously at play when trying to force dangerous neurotoxins onto a developing infants system and shaming a parent for rightfully refusing. Clearly not concerned about a child's health if wilfully trying to compromise it.
