I'm so happy I found this office! Peaceful and friendly setting. Not aggressive or trying to fix problems that aren't there. Very honest and kind with their approach and won't tell you all the things you're doing wrong. Thanks Chicopee Family Dental; you're a breath of fresh air!!

I arrived early for my appointment and they took me right away. Everyone is very personable and friendly. They do a great job. The dental hygienist remembered me from last time. It's little things like that, that keep you coming back.

I would NEVER recommend coming here. The dr is amazing, desk staff not so much. They consistently wait until patients are at the office to let them know anything is going on with the insurance. So you arrive and they tell you you have to pay out of pocket. They have nasty attitudes every time. Not worth the hassle.

Was there today. Dr. Shi and his team are amazing, down to earth, easy to talk to and he answered any questions I had. Definitely eased my fears of also allowing my husband to be in the room with me. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Shi is very knowledgeable, kind, polite. Takes the time to explore all your options for treatment. Very transparent with pricing. Fit me in when my tooth broke and did the necessary work that same day. And considering that I'm very anxious whenever i have to get dental work done, he did everything be necessary to ensure that i felt no pain. My anxiety level with dentists has dropped considerably as a result. Kudos, dr. Shi!!!!

I always feel completely comfortable at Chicopee Family Dental. The staff and Doctor are amazing and make you feel right at home. The Doctor is very knowledgeable as well, and will spend the time with you to make sure that you understand everything. I absolutely recommend them! And.. this is coming from someone who normally doesn't like going to the Dentist or Doctors. Thanks again for everything Chicopee Family Dental! :)

Just went in for a checkup/cleaning for the first time here. Everyone was very nice, helpful and professional. The building, waiting room, and treatment room(s) were very welcoming, clean and organized. I was very pleased after my appointment! Thank you!

Dr doesn't seem to like to talk to people, at least my experience. The dental assistant was kind courteous and on point, sensing my fear and trying to calm me. The doctor on the other hand couldn't get rid of me quick enough.

Be wary of doctor's who give hints of burnout -cynicism, negative attitudes towards patients and co workers is a sign of it. (Also shown in office staffs failure to follow thru for patients.) Had a tooth examined for a filling or crown. Unlike reviews here I found Dr. Shi to be arrogant and supercilious. Paraphrasing: - Dr. Shi said "if you get a crown realize we haven't had an insurance reimbursement increase since 2000 so the results will be adequate. No promises, but if you want to spend 1800 - I can make sure it's good under cosmetic dentistry." 1. Results should be just as good with insurance that's why we have insurance. 2. To get a copy of the x-ray for a second opinion. Called twice spoke to both girls in the office the first one was rude, the second one said she had to talk to the doctor and promised to have it emailed and did. Inconsistent with unhappy employees

The entire staff were amazing and understood my severe anxiety. I went in for fillings and I am so happy I went here to get them done. My smile is now beautiful. And because of this amazing work my confidence uplifted more. I am so happy. I have recommended more than 8 family members and they are all just as pleased as I am if not they are happier..
