I grew up in Arlington Heights, a northwest suburb of Chicago. After completing my orthodontic training, I moved back to Chicago. I settled in Woodridge for several years. Then when Istarted a family I wanted to moveto Naperville for their wonderful sense of community. Ihave lived in Naperville for 17years and have 3 wonderful children. Katie isin college at Marquette University studying physical therapy. Matthew has graduatedhigh school and is very creative inmusic production and photography. Samantha is the youngestand enjoys playing basketball and making musicin her free time. The entire family is in love with our dog, Jake. He is a schnoodle, mix of poodle and schnauzer, and he is the highlight of our day.

I enjoy working out a few times a week, reading a book for our neighborhood book club and going to see live music or musical theater. I'dlike to get out on my bicycle or go for long walks a bit more, but that may have to wait a few more years.

We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.

  • We have varied office hours: We open before school and work several days a week and have evening hours on Wednesday. Additionally, we have an emergency phone available should you have a true after-hours orthodontic emergency.
  • We offer private operatories: Unlike many orthodontic offices with an open bay concept which can lead to some people feeling like theyre part of an assembly line our treatment rooms are private. Each assistant has their own room and has decorated it to reflect their personality. Youll have complete privacy and our full attention.
  • We welcome parents in the treatment rooms: Weve found that, especially with younger patients, its essential their parents are actively involved in the orthodontic process. Were thrilled when parents decide to join their children in the operatory and are always glad to answer questions about progress, provide education, and encourage great home care.
  • Deciding to change your life by changing your smile is a big decision. Its essential you understand your clinical situation and different treatment options. Its just as important to select an orthodontist who offers leading-edge care, tailored to you.

For most people, achieving a healthy, beautiful smile is the reason for receiving orthodontic care. If you're self-conscious about your smile, correcting your concerns with braces will greatly improve the way you look and feel.

When your treatment is complete, you will have the smile you've always dreamed of and the confidence to show it off! We also want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire orthodontic experience, and our practice is dedicated to making sure that you receive the quality care you deserve.

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.

Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!

Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.
