Dr. Guyer has taken care of me and my wife. He has excellent communication skills, very courteous, very knowledgeable, humane, answers directly and very succinctly questions posed, and possesses superb technical skills. He makes the experience look "so easy". This is what competence does.

Got my wisdom teeth removed, super easy and simple! At the consultation, I waited an hour to actually be seen, and at the surgery we began a half hour late. No big deal through, I understand they have other patients as well! Overall, great experience!

Terrible experience, I would NEVER recommend this place. They definitely pulled a fast one and completed unnecessary treatments that my insurance denied. They are rude on the phone, super unhelpful, and lied about what was said to me.

This is my first time at Chicago Dental and I'm so happy I was referred. They were so nice and Dr. Tandon was amazing. This was for a emergency service and they treated me like I've been there forever. The most important part is that it was not about the money but about making me feel better. Thank you everyone.

The one star review is for the receptionist ladies up at the front. Very rude and disrespectful. One of the ladies working up front on Jan 21st, today, was extremely rude and unprofessional... even rolled her eyes at us for checking in to our appointment. She claimed her name was Margerie, I would never have someone so rude representing a business... very very disappointed.

Stay away! Instructions unclear. Was only told to make sure to have a driver to take me home not have a driver present during the procedure. They have wasted my time and tried to cover themselves. There's a reason the place isn't a 4 star. Look somewhere else.. Unprofessional and unclean place.

Dr Guyer is the successor to my previous great dental surgeon except Dr Guyer is even greater! Very friendly and clearly explained how he was going to extract a broken off tooth. Anesthesia worked fine and extraction was painless. Other than suppressing the bleeding there has been no pain. As both an ex school teacher and business man, Dr Guyer and staff get a grade of A+++!

I highly recommend Dr. Tandon. I give him 5 stars!! My daughter had 4 of her impacted wisdoms teeth extracted. Dr. Tandon explained the procedure very well, he made my daughter feel very comfortable. He went over everything in details regarding the procedure before & after the surgery, he answer all of our questions. The best part of him was he personally took his time to call that same evening and the next day, to make sure that my daughter was doing fine. I defenetly recommend Dr. Tandon to anyone who's looking for an Oral Surgeon.

BUYER/PATIENT BE AWARE! Went to the Joliet office for a surgery consult and loved the doctor/staff was excellent. When I went to the Downers Grove location for my surgery, I was informed that they collected a certain percentage of the total surgery costs to cover whatever insurance would "possibly" not cover. They said that if my insurance ended up covering more than what I was being charged then they would refund the difference. I completely forgot it and after about 3 months, I had not heard anything about a refund (which I thought was odd because I have excellent insurance). When I called they said it was the responsibility of the patient to contact the office about receiving the refund. They would not just send out an automatic refund. Makes me wonder how many people just never called and how much money they ended up keeping because people forgot!
