Dr. Kushner received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago. She graduated in the top of her class and received the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society Award.

Dr. Kushner practiced general dentistry for several years before specializing in the treatment of people who suffer from craniofacial pain, TMD and sleep disorders. She has received advanced education and training in these fields including 1,500 hours of continuing education in Craniofacial Pain, TMD and Sleep Medicine. As such, Dr. Kushners extensive post-graduate learning has resulted in earning her the following recognitions: Diplomate of American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, Diplomate of American Board of Orofacial Pain and Fellow of American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.

In addition, Dr. Kushner is highly respected among her peers and is an active member of the community. She is also President of Kitsap County Dental Society and is a member of the Education Committee for American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Kushner shares her knowledge and experience as a national lecturer to other health professionals.

Josy began work in the dental field in 1997. She worked for a dentist in Virginia for 5 years, before she moved with her family to the Pacific Northwest in 2002. She began work for Dr. Barrett as his book keper and accounts manager for 14 years and has been his office manager since 2013. Josy looks forward to working with both Dr. Barrett and Dr. Kushner.

I began working for Dr. Kushner in the fall of 2019 after moving to the area from Eastern Washington. I have worked in the medical field for the past 5 years and love watching patients succeed on their path to healthy living. I have 5 kids and 4 grandbabies. My favorite thing in the world is spending time with my family. A close second is traveling and a cold strawberry margarita!

Vivian joined the dental field in 2019. She was born & raised in Los Angeles, California & moved up to Washington in 2012. She speaks Spanish fluently & is a mother to 2 boys. She brings years of customer service experience to our team and in her spare time she likes to Netflix & Chill. One of her all time favorite quotes from one of her favorite movies is I just like to smile, smiling is my favorite Buddy the Elf (Will Ferrell) from Elf

Susan joined the practice in 2014. She had a desire to ensure that every patient receives excellent care in a comfortable and professional environment. She has participated in Kitsap County dentistry for over 30 years and is also a licensed insurance agent, and works with her husband in his agency.

Jordanguy joined our team in October 2021 and is a fresh face to the medical field. He was Born in San Diego, CA but has lived in Kitsap County for 20 years. Graduated from Olympic High School and was a competitive cheerleader. He has experience in management, customer service, and caregiving. He is a proud cat dad of a 7-year-old Grey Tabby and enjoys spending his time at home relaxing, shopping or out soaking up the sun.

Nancy started working for Dr. Barrett in 1996 and worked with him for 16 years before taking a leave of absence. She has since rejoined the team in May 2019. She feels so fortunate to work for a caring and knowledgeable doctor such as Dr. Kushner. Our team is one of a kind! I love working with my coworkers as they are all experts in their jobs and truly go above and beyond for our patients. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors gardening, hiking, camping and boating. She has been married for 36 years and has a wonderful daughter who has recently graduated with her Masters in Environmental Science.

Kayla joined our team February 2020. She started her professional career as an Orthodontist Assistant when she was 19 after completing the Dental Assistant program at Bates Technical College. Kaylas social and bubbly personality has made her favorite part of the job providing personalized care and building relationships with our patients. In her free time you might find her binge-watching a new Netflix series or floating out on a lake in Hood Canal .

Victoria joined our team in March of 2021 & specializes in our sleep division of our clinic. She is a Kitsap County native who has spent 8 years in dental. Her commitment and compassion for her patients is unparalleled. On the weekends you can find her outside whether she is kicked back on the beach or running her jeep through the trails, getting dirty.

Brenda joined the dental field in 2017 after graduating from Clover Park Technical College. She is born and raised in Key Peninsula, where she now raises her three children. If she ever manages to be available for it, being outside is her favorite, but movie nights at home with the family are unbeatable. Brenda is a self-admitted sucker for the sights of the PNW. (Mt Rainier is my #1). I am so fortunate to have found such a loving Doctor and office to be a part of. I love working with people and making a direct impact on their lives. I strive to make everyone smile and get a laugh if Im lucky.
