Follow up: No the response below from Cheyenne Periodontics is FALSE.Why would I go to a periodontist and drive over 150 miles unless I was in pain? I told them I was in a lot of pain throughout.. It was about a faulty crown. I asked for help with the pain, so what they say as a response below **is not true**. Please be aware of this while seeing their reviews. I begged for pain meds during and esp after the appt. I had periodontal disease already the second periodontist a week later said plus periodontal abcesses. No help from Cheyenne periodontics! I cannot recommend this place after seeing how they do not help people. Other reviews have commented that they need to take new xrays and I agree. My feedback: I went to another periodontist. The issue is that Cheyenne Periodontics never took new xrays. The diagnoses was wrong, maybe because she was looking at old xrays? Ontop of that I was in.pain after seeing Cheyenne Periodontics and I got an abcess which the other periodontist seen later. Cheyenne Periodontics, even though I had called them the same day I seen them (afterwards) with swelling and pain, they would not help with antibiotics or anything. I also had pieces in my gumline from dental work prior by dentists in Casper. I needed Cheyenne Periodontics to help me and they did nothing...not even take new xrays!!

Kimberly is amazing! She's kind, considerate, and very informative. I trust her with my precious teeth. Shoot, I'd trust her with my life at this point. Also, the rest of the staff is just as nice; I love Jess at the front desk too! Great place and quality of care.

My cleaning @ Cheyenne Periodontics was thoroughly done& very professional! Stacie performed the cleaning & did several processes that have not been done on my previous cleanings.Stacie checked depth of my tissue & shared that information with me .At the end of my cleaning she also flossed my teeth which has never been done before on a cleaning visit. I would highly recommend this office! Thank you !

The staff was phenomenal. They were caring and informative throughout the whole process. They called and checked on me the next day. Dr. Hansen constantly was checking throughout the procedure to make sure I did not feel any pain. She was very compassionate. I was given her personal cell number just on case of emergency. It is probably the best visit/procedure to any office I have ever been in my entire life. I would strongly recommend for any of your oral surgery needs.

The staff contacted the VA without my permission. No informed release signed. The VA was not involved so why call them?? I signed no informed consent. I had mentioned I had gone to the VA not that they were my latest dentist or anything. I waited months for this appointment. Had to cancel because her staff are this airheaded.

Dr Hansen performed an extraction, dental implant and bone graft on Nov 7th 2016, the day my life changed forever. According the neurologist I now have neuropathic pain due to implant with no known remedy. I live every day, all day in pain that never lets up. I have had 13 procedures since then to try and fix the nerve damage with no success. I understand there are risks during any surgical procedure, but the possibility of nerve damage was never brought up. After two months when I told her it felt like nerve damage since my entire mouth was on fire, she denied it and sent me to an endodontist for a root canal that was done on a healthy tooth causing more trauma. Since that day that I told her it felt like nerve damage, I never saw or spoke with again. I tried but she refused to speak with me. If you want to roll the dice and possibly have something go wrong and the Dr step away, Dr Hansen is the one for you. After 6 months, the neurosurgeon told me to get the implant out. It had never even adhered to the bone. It was just sitting up there. The surgery was expensive and she made no attempt to give me the full amount back. This had been a nightmare costing me a fortune with no hope in sight. I had surgery 3 weeks ago to remove the massive amount of scar tissue in the area that cost me $2000. I am filing a complaint with the Dental Board against her. She needs to be stopped before someone else is injured. Making a mistake is one thing, ignoring the pain and not communicating with the patient speaks volumes of this womans integrity and commitment to her patients. Update to review. Dr Hansen called me today. I was moved by her sincere apologies that she had not been told I was trying to reach her and even offered to give me her private cell if I need anything at all. I could tell that she was very upset and sad that I have been through so much and offered to be there for me in any capacity I need. I have always been able to tell when someone is sincere and speaking from their heart and that's what I experienced today. It lifted my spirits and I felt better knowing that she did indeed care deeply. I look at my review and see my pain speaking, for that I apologize. Dr Johnson who stepped in to take care of me has done everything in his power to help me and has been a tremendous source of support, even when I hung up on him. His staff as well has done everything in their power to help me get through this. What happened to me happens to less than 1% of patients that have implants, I just happened to be the one. I think from my conversation with Dr Hansen that we both have learned something from this experience. I felt bad for her and wanted to reach through the phone to hug her, that's how sincere she was. It is now the 3rd of January 2018, after another surgery, loss of another tooth, and nerve block, the pain remains. My body is exhausted, I am in trauma counseling, and have 3 teeth missing. There is so much damage from the nerves that they may not be able to restore the teeth. It doesn't matter at this point, all that's been done and I am back where I started, constant nerve pain. An implant should be done in two stages, giving the area where the extraction time to heal, up to 4 months, before putting an implant in. It is safer that way, with less chance of this happening. All the oral surgeons and periodontists I have been to were not on board for trying to do it in one sitting. My life is barely worth living with this pain. I have now passed the two year mark living every day with the pain I was subjected to when the nerves in my mouth were burned. I've seen every doctor and tried everything, but nothing takes this burning, aching, relentless pain. No word from Dr Hansen. She is someone who can injure another and not care. I walked in there fine and left like this. The pain is horrible, but that kind of behavior from someone you trust is not acceptable. Yes, she's very sweet, has a wonderful bedside manner, but don't look to her if you are injured, she's not available. Four years later, I'm bedridden. 50 surgeries.
