Dr. Kenneth Chiusano grew up in Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania. He Graduated from Bangor Area High School and attended West Chester University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Chiusano stayed in the Philadelphia area and attended Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry. After graduating dental school Dr. Chiusano moved back to the Slate Belt to be closer to family.
Dr. Chiusano enjoys staying active. He plays ice hockey and flag football and spends time outdoors. In his free time, Dr. Chiusano also likes to play music. His favorite instruments are the piano and bass guitar. Time with family is most important for Dr. Chiusano. He loves to spend time with his wife, Lauren, and daughter Natalie. And of course, their goldendoodle Charlie.
Prior to purchasing the practice in July of 2015, Dr. Chiusano was a full time associate at Chestnuthill Dental for over 8 years. Practicing in a high tech office requires Dr. Chiusano to keep up with the latest techniques and procedures in dentistry. Dr. Chiusano regularly attends continuing education seminars which provide knowledge from nationally recognized clinicians and speakers. Dr. Chiusano is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Lehigh Valley Dental Associations, Monroe County Dental Association and Lehigh Valley Dental Study Club.
Dr. Mark C Pugliese grew up in northeast Pennsylvania in the same neighborhood as his cousin, Dr. Kenneth Chiusano. He graduated from Bangor Area High School and attended Northampton Community College where he played soccer, tennis and ice hockey. He went on to graduate from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and graduated with honors from Temple University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Pugliese is married with two children. He regularly attends continuing education seminars which provides knowledge from nationally recognized clinicians and speakers. In his spare time, Dr. Pugliese enjoys staying active through sports, such as ice hockey, softball and golf; as well as hunting and fishing.
Lauren is a registered dental hygienist and a member of our front desk team. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree as well as an Associates degree in Dental Hygiene. She started working with the practice in August of 2010 and enjoys helping her patients achieve the best possible dental health. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her husband and their daughter Natalie and dog Charlie. Family is most important to her. In her free time, she also enjoys cooking, exercising, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Carla is the office manager at Chestnuthill Dental. She has been with the practice since December of 2008. She attended college at Northampton Community College and received her Associates Degree in Office Administration. She currently lives in Effort with her husband Brian and two sons, Connor and Owen. In her spare time she loves to be outdoors and spending time with her family.
Erika graduated Northampton Community College in 2008 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science and a license in Dental Hygiene. She also currently holds a Hygiene Anesthesia License, enabling her to administer dental anesthesia. Erika has been with Chestnuthill Dental since 2010. She resides in Effort with her husband and her puggle, Wrinkles. In her free time Erika enjoys traveling, cooking and rooting for the Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles.
Ashlin graduated from Northampton Community College in May 2010. She has been working at Chestnuthill Dental since December 2010. Ashlin currently holds and associated degree in Applied Science and a license in Dental Hygiene and Local Anesthesia so she can provide dental anesthesia to her patients if needed. Ashlin grew up in New Jersey and moved to Pennsylvania in 2004. She currently resides in Effort, Pennsylvania. Ashlin loves spending time with her family, friends and Bernese mountain dog, Cooper. She also loves to snowboard in the winter, take beach trips and go hiking in the summer.
Angel has been a Dental Assistant since 2008. She attended Colorado Technical University and received an Associates Degree in Medical Billing and Coding. She resides in Stroudsburg with her children. She enjoys the outdoors and exercising.
Donna has a degree in medical office assisting and became a dental assistant in March of 2011. She lives in Kunkletown, Pennsylvania with her husband Mike and three children Kathryn, James and Matthew, along with their dog Jack. Donna enjoys going on nature walks and spending time with her family.

My experience at this Dental office is so amazing I would not change it for nothing. The staffs : I feel like they were hand pick for their position. Each one so delicate and kind with the patients. We'll not to mention the young lady that does my cleaning .. 5 starts goes to her. I have another young lady that did paperwork for me when I was severely injured fighting back and forth with insurance and she made me feel so at rest knowing that I couldn't fight for myself. 5 starts to her as well. Not to mention the dentist themselves they are well trained and professional in every area of their dentistry. Amazing office and amazing staffs. S.M.

I give this place 1000 % I had very bad experience with dentist and I found this place I was scared and when I when they was so considerate and worked with me stopped if I needed them too then move forward I needed a top plate and a bottom partial they came out AMAZING I can't smile I'm so happy they came out perfect I would never go anywhere eles

Really good experience. I am dentaphobic but the care I received at Chestnuthill Dental was great. I have quite a few dental adventures coming up in the next few months (COVID put my teeth on hold for a while) and I'm not nearly as nervous as I was about facing the drill. Very good dental clinic.

On Friday I started to get a bad tooth ache I called here they got me in first thing Tuesday am everyone was so amazing the doctor was gentle extracting my tooth I highly recommend this dentist

This was my first time at Chestnuthill Dental and the whole experience was just amazing. The office is clean and beautiful, the entire staff is so kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and just so pleasant to be around. They were more than understanding of my situation (needed a dental implant crown done in time for an upcoming wedding) and made sure that it's getting taken care of in time. I also do not have insurance and their pricing is so reasonable. I called over 6-7 dentists in the area and this one was the least expensive and the most thorough. I'm so glad I went with them. 10/10 definitely recommend!

I took nearly 2 years of not going to the dentist due to the pandemic, after going here I had completely forgot about all past bad experiences with dentist. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Walking you along every step, what to expect, and what you'll most likely feel. I had to go there 3 times in the in past 5 weeks as I had cavities and chose to do some deep cleanings. Every receptions, dental assistants or Dr I encountered was just as pleasant as the last.
