The stay-at-home order had us all stuck inside and for many, that meant delaying routine dental check-ups, preventative dental care visits, and even important dental procedures like extractions, fillings, crowns, root canals or implants. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies recommendations.
Were a caring and concerned group who listens to how you feel during procedures and caters our approach to every patient we even offer dental anesthesiology services to a wide variety of patients (just contact us beforehand). Were easy to talk to and strive to make our office a comfortable, relaxing environment. And we dont keep our patients waiting. We do our very best to keep to our schedules so you can keep to yours!

Dr. Joe Lota and his staff are exceptional and attentive to their patients needs. The staff are pleasant and caring to each client that comes into their office. Dr. Lota address your needs and concern in a timely fashion. Great dental office!!!

The staff at Chestnut Ridge Dental is always friendly and helpful. Dr Joe Lota squeezed me in as an emergency, but he gave me careful attention without rushing and successfully dealt with my problem.

The entire staff is very welcoming and friendly. Clean office and up to date. They take the time to listen to your concerns and make sure that all of your questions are answered. Would certainly recommend.

I felt so confident coming in for my biannual cleaning as Chestnut Ridge Dental's team is always amazing, clean, friendly, and efficient. The level of precaution taken during my visit was truly outstanding and I felt very safe receiving treatment during these uncertain times.

Dr. Joe Lota is the best dentist I've ever been to, and he makes me laugh which is important because I'm a nervous dental patient. I came to him through his hygienist Kristen, also highly recommended, and will never go anywhere else. He's extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind, and most importantly, gentle. He always tells me everything he's doing to keep me calm which is what I need. I'm sure if you don't want to know anything about what he's doing he wouldn't share. The TV's in the exam rooms are a nice distraction. His office staff is fabulous and good natured! They're always on top of my insurance and there are never surprises. The waiting room, bathroom, office, and exam rooms are SPOTLESS. There is also a great text message confirmation service so you never forget an appointment, no matter how much you want to lol. Would give 10 stars if I could!

I had a great experience with Dr. Mufson. He was excellent. I broke my tooth the day before, called his office the next day since it was the closest to my house and they fit me into his schedule. I asked him to save my tooth from a crown and he did that. He explained the procedure in detail and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire filling process, which was complicated. He could have easily told me I needed a crown, but thankfully the tooth was savable by the way it broke. That to me is a clear sign of honesty and integrity. I trust his advice and opinion and I would absolutely recommend Dr. Mufson.
