I have been trying to get in to ANY of the Chestnut Hills Dental offices for over a month! I call to verify my appointment for tomorrow and suddenly it's been cancelled!!! They are trying to say I cancelled it when in fact I called BEGGING for an earlier date because I am in so much pain. I NEVER cancelled. They cancelled me, without notice or warning and left me in pain. I have called and spoke to now 5 separate people about getting scheduled, each one saying something different than the last. The hours listed on Google are a joke. They ARE NOT OPEN AFTER 5. The people I just spoke to couldn't schedule me at all. They "didn't have access to schedule on their servers". And "they have have to run everything by the scheduler". So what's the point of having your hours listed until 7 when neither the Squirrel Hill or Shadyside location can schedule appointments after 5??!!!

Very professional and friendly. They provide great care and keep the appointments on time. There is convenient parking around the corner too. I highly recommend them.

This was my first visit to Chestnut Hills Squirrel Hill. It technically counted as two back-to-back appointments: I had x-rays taken and was seen by a dentist (appointment 1), and then I had a tooth cleaning (appointment 2). I would agree with what I read in some other reviews that the tooth cleaning was surprisingly quick and seemed to have fewer steps than what I remember from other dental offices, but I didn't mind. What especially impressed me were the protections against contagious diseases. For example, I could tell that air ventilation was a big priority. The HVAC system seemed to be running at full blast to bring fresh air into all the rooms all the time. That's exactly how it should be, and I was so glad to see that someone who knows what they're doing is in charge of those protections. As of October 2022, all staff were also masked, including front desk staff, and patients are required to wear masks in the waiting room.

I took my 6 year old to have a cleaning and to get his baby teeth checked. Everyone was friendly and helpful and my child liked the hygienist as well. We will continue to go to Chestnut Hills!

I had an appointment scheduled for noon, but when I arrived, I was informed they never schedule appointments for noon so I must have been wrong. I don't make the appointments. You do.

Seeing the Chestnut Hills dentists, dental assistants and hygienists is always a good experience. The front office schedulers are very accommodating. Most importantly, the quality of the dental work is top notch. My husband and I have been with Chestnut Hills since we moved to Pittsburgh from Washington, DC eight years ago.
