Dr. Palak Jain received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University and earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in India. Following her graduation from NYU, Dr. Jain pursued Advanced General Residency Program for Dentists at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. She practiced dentistry for three years in India and has been practicing in NY and PA for over the last eight years. As one who values education and appreciates its benefits for her patients. Dr. Jain continues her education on a regular basis to offer latest treatment methodologies to her patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association. As a dentist, her goal is to help all her patients receive the best possible oral health and smile. She has been recognized as the Best Dentist by Consumer Advisory Board since 2014.
When not at the office, Dr. Jain spends her time with her family watching movies, listening to music and traveling. Her family is very important to her, and she cherishes the time she has with her husband Sumeet, her son Arham and her daughter Aarini.
Kristen is our wonderful Dental Assistant. Her patience and caring manner is evident in the way she interacts with each patient and the way they respond to her. Her gentle nature appeals to all patients - from kids to adults.
She enjoys educating patients about the importance of good oral hygiene and cavity prevention. Kristens warm and friendly personality relaxes our patients and reassures them that a trip to the dentist can be a fun and educational experience.
Cheryl has spent the majority of my career in the treatment of patients with periodontal disease. Cheryl takes immense pride as a hygienist to give care to her patients in a calm and caring atmosphere where their comfort and well being is the main concern.

Sometimes teeth are damaged because of cavities, heavy bite forces, or trauma. If a root canal is needed to salvage a compromised nerve, the tooth may be especially fragile. Dental crowns, or caps, allow these teeth to be rebuilt and covered with materials that mimic nature. Not only are most capped teeth indistinguishable from natural teeth, but they're also extremely secure and comfortable.
Crowns can be crafted to repair a single tooth, multiple teeth (including the entire mouth), or in conjunction with dental implants to fill a space. In fact, when missing teeth enter the equation, special consideration might be given to placing a dental bridge or implants.

One star, will never return. Receptionist is nice, the dentist however is not. I am scarred to do anything now from having my mouth open and worked on for over 45 minutes, being gagged and them acting like and treating me like it was on purpose. Hate the dentist as is but this really solidified it for me

This is a top notch, even though small practice, with care both personalized and of the highest quality. Having used a high end practice in DC which had the frills of an expensive building, office decoration, etc., as well as an extremely solicitious approach to interactions tailored to make one feel better for fact that they wouldn't accept insurance, it has been great to find care that is equivalent from a practice that accepts insurance and still provides a comfortable atmosphere in a modest neighborhood setting rather than up market modern building.

Friendly, competent, thorough dental care. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Treatment recommendations were clearly explained by the dentist. I am going to investigate dental insurance, as dental care is very expensive.

Well-maintained and pleasant office environment. Dr Jain is highly trained and very competent. The hygienist, Cheryl, is a caring and well-qualified perfectionist. I'm very pleased with their strong response to the COVID-19 pandemic and how they've made the office environment as safe as possible for both staff and patients. Repeat visit resulted in the same 5-star review. Dr Jain and her staff go the extra mile for their patients. Extremely pleased with the care provided at this dental practice. It is a well-designed and clean facility in the heart of the attractive Chestnut Hill neighborhood. Dr. Jain has proved excellent (and extensive) dental care for me since I moved to her practice 2-3 years ago. Her technical and communication skills are impressive, and the same can be said of her staff, from reception to technical staff including Kirsten and others. Am so glad I chose Chestnut Hill Smiles.
