Robin F. Gallagher, D.M.D., M.A.E.S.grew up in the house that Chestnut Hill Dental has provided care in for over 50 years. He is the son of the late Dr. Robert F. Gallagher who started the practice. He often tells stories of climbing the trees with his brother and sister in the front yard of the building.
Dr. Robin has been a practicing dentist for over 30 years. He attended La Salle College High School and then graduated from La Salle University. He then went on to work for Combustion Engineering in Miami, FL for 3 years in the ceramic manufacturing industry. After having dreams of helping people in a white lab coat, he decided to go to dental school. In 1980, Dr. Robin graduated from University of Pennsylvania Dental School and was credited by the Pennsylvania Board of Dentistry the same year. Dr. Robin began studying with the Pankey Institue of Dentistry in 1982 and has remained a Triple Plus Member, sharing the same views and values of the Institution. In 2004, Dr. Robin completed Pankeys Head and Neck Dissection. In 2004, Dr. Robin completed Pankeys Sleep Disorder and Breathing Program. And in 2006, Dr. Robin completed Pankeys Ethical and Comprehensive Dental Care Program. Dr. Robin became a Fellow of the American Endodontic Society in 2000 and a Master in 2002.

I came in, having broken a tooth a few days before. Dr. Glen was as wonderful as ever; kind, conversant; attentive; informative; as pleasant as a meeting with suction in my mouth can possibly be. Also, the assistant was someone I had not met before (my apologies; I have forgotten her name). She was great doing the set-up, being calm and sweet and kind. Barbara, our hygienist is the best. I have been seeing her every six months for over 30 years. She is fantastic, steady hand, good conversations and almost pain free cleaning. Pain is not from Barbara, it's my less than stellar flossing.

Went for a cleaning. Barbara is thorough, professional and dilligent. The easy working relationship between Barbara and Dr. Gallagher is hard to miss. Dr. Gallagher is thorough as well. He performs an oral cancer exam each time I am there. Recommend the practice highly!
