Dr. Horchos practices all phases of restorative esthetic dentistry. Hehas a special concern for his patients overall health and well being as connected to their dental health.Dr. Horchos has been in practice since 1991 and launched a true family dental practice.
Dr. Horchos is a graduate ofRutgers UniversityandGeorgetown University School of Dentistry. He completed an advanced hospital residency and continues to enhance his skills in the latesttechnologies with many hours of continuing education each year.
Kim has been working in dentistry since 1983. She has experience as a chair-side assistant for both the general and pediatric dentists, and continues to use her business skills at our front desk. Kims goal at each patients visit is to make them feel comfortable and at ease while laughing and talking with them. She approaches her work day with an upbeat and positive attitude. Kim lives in Lancaster county with her husband George, their two children, Karlie and Kody. In her spare time, she teaches Sunday school and enjoys spending time with her family.
Mary Ann joined Chestnut Dental in 2006 as an assistant to Dr. Horchos. She has more than 20 years experience in chairside assisting and 7 years experience as an Oral Surgery Assistant/Clinical Supervisor. She has decided to return to general dentistry because of the personal attention and care that she can give to each of our patients and enjoys having the opportunity to work with people that take pride in their profession, treating each patient with the individual care they need. Mary Ann has also worked with special cases in Paoli Hospital Operating Rooms and the Malvern Childrens Surgery Center with Pediatric Specialist, Dr. Carolyn Loughlin-Horchos, D. D. S. She currently resides in Coatesville with her husband, Doug and their dog Annie. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her time with friends and family, and being a GrandMa!
Nadia has a Bachelors degree in English and was previously a teacher for 13 years before working in dentistry. Nadia has been a part of the Chestnut Dental Associates team since 2002 as a Dental Assistant. She enjoys caring for her patients and is always willing to help them. Her co-workers can always depend on her support to make their day run smoothly. She also speaks Arabic. Nadia and her husband Haythem have two children, a daughter Mariam and son Sadik, who just recently was married, adding a daughter in law, Jessica to their family. Outside of dentistry, Nadia enjoys music, reading and traveling.
Cindy joined our team at Chestnut Dental Associates in 2008. She has been practicing dental hygiene since graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2001. During her course of study, Cindy treated children, senior citizens and special needs patients. She prides herself on being very thorough and comprehensive in the individualized treatment that she provides to each of her patients. Cindy enjoys cooking, gardening and home improvement projects. She resides in West Brandywine with her husband Larry their daughters, Rachael and Emma, grandson Brayden and dogs, Oscar and Letty.
Theresa has been a chairside assistant in both the general and pediatric fields for 36 years. Theresa grew up in New Jersey where she graduated from Mercer County College, as a Registered Dental Assistant. Presently she is Hygiene Coordinator and part of our front desk staff in our new Downingtown location. Theresa currently resides in Downingtown with her husband Frank, son Frankie and dog Buddy.

Great people. I've been with Chestnut Dental Associates for years. They are competent and considerate. I actually enjoy going to the dentist here. Just came back from another appointment. They continue the excellent and still very personal care.

I came here as a new patient and had a wonderful experience on my first visit. The office was nice, the staff members were friendly, and the hygienist did a great job with my cleaning. After some xrays, I was told I needed fillings, so I scheduled another appointment to get those done. Second visit, different hygienist, still great. Dentist arrives to do the filling and gets my name wrong straight away. While working on my filling, he was pretty rough and I noticed the hygienist had to quietly correct him on tools a couple of times, as if he was working fast and grabbing the wrong ones. This wasn't making me feel very confident as a patient. He also cut my lip, which bled quite a bit and left a scab for a few days after. He had a great sense of humor and genuinely seemed sorry, so I brushed off my discomfort. Fast forward to a few months later: My tooth with the filling now aches when it never did before. My bite feels different and I have been experiencing migraines and throbbing pain in the tooth with the filling. Great people, just proceed with caution! This office only has 1 dentist and it shows. They seem to have a high volume of patients and as a result, I felt the dentist was rushing. I'd give them another chance if not for the pain in my tooth. I am now planning to get a second opinion on the fillings that were done here.

What wonderful people! I was given a thorough checkup and cleaning.....the competence, professionalism, and kindness were outstanding. The office is welcoming, clean, and relaxing. I can recommend this office and staff with a clear conscience.

60 plus years old. Moved a lot in my life. Dr H. and staff are top notch. They might cost a little more than other area dentists but when it comes to my teeth and mouth it is well worth it. Clean, friendly, attentive and not rushing you out for the next appointment. Would not go anywhere else and I DO hate going to a dentist but I can say, I feel at ease here.

The dentist is not a place I enjoy. After my first cleaning I was told I needed some work due to old fillings etc. The aniexty kicked in. After my first session to my surprise a text message from the dentist asking me how I was feeling. I was beyond blown away. The service from the office team to the dental assistants, hygienists and the dentist are top notch. Each visit they made sure I was comfortable. From playing great music to the follow up in the evening. It has been years since I went to a dentist I trust and or would go back to. My search is over. If you are looking for a great team all around, Chestnut Dental is the place to be. Thank you everyone for being so awesome and kind.

I've been going to Dr. Horchos for over 12 years, and appreciate his clear explanations about what I need with each visit. I'm pretty terrified of dental work after a horrible experience over 20 years ago, and Dr. Horchos always makes me comfortable (and even laugh a lot) at each visit. I fully recommend him and his staff!
