Dr. Robert Yoon is a Baltimore native who was raised in Owings Mills, Maryland. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, and worked for IBM and BGE as an engineer for a number of years before entering the University of Maryland Dental School. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from dental school and received academic and research honors: Whos Who among Students in American Universities & Colleges, member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, Harry E. Kelsy Orthodontic Award, Academy of Dental Materials Award, and the Geriatrics and Gerontology Education & Research Program.
Dr. Yoon completed a three-year post-doctoral residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the University of Maryland and graduated with a Master of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics.
