I will start my Digital dentistry story late last winter with my patient Sue who arrived at my office with a smile she has not liked for years. So, what made this young lady remarkable? It was not just that her problem was so concerning to her, but that she arrived in my office the same time as digital smile design AI (artificial intelligence) just came forward from DigitalSmileDesignApp by Dr. Christian Coachman. The iPhone AI app helps visualize what is possible in just a few minutes- a process that would have taken at least an hour or more and gave us command over the display of her new smile. This new AI helped take her dream to reality. We worked together to make her dream come true by determining the smile she always wanted from the position and shape of her teeth to the color of her new smile.
So that is why I am starting almost at the end of my story. But here it is from the beginning. I have been in dentistry for 35 years and have been in the digital dental world after desktop computers and the creative software platforms came to be. Since 1986 I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and skills in lectures and hands-on courses in general practice dentistry as well as cosmetic and smile design analysis. The past twenty-five years have seen a surge in computer technology. My years of working in 2D (Keynote, PowerPoint, Photoshop, SmileDesignPro) and in the analog world of laboratory work has given me a unique set of skills to help people. The most recent accomplishment was to be recognized and certified as a Certified Smile Designer with the DSDapp group headed by Dr. Christian Coachman.
My traditional dental education began at Temple Dental School in 1981 and finished my General Practice Residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1986. I continue my education through university, academic, corporate and private institutions including the Dawson Academy, Piper Institute for TMJ studies, and The Spear Education Institute. In addition, I participate in a local Spear Education Study Club. These educational opportunities emphasize general dentistry, TMJ analysis and treatment, advanced prosthetics, dentures, cosmetic dentistry, and Digital Smile Design.
I like to contribute to my local Boy Scout Troop, Paoli Troop 1, BSA and have been involved with them for many years since I was a scout in the same troop. I presently sit on the Troop Committee and Executive Board. I like to volunteer my dental services at Community Volunteers in Medicine, located in West Chester, PA.
Dr. Dollfus joined Chesterbrook Dental Associates in 2019 after completion of dental school in Chicago, IL at Midwestern University. He received a BS in Biology while minoring in Business Administration at the University of Miami. Dr. Dollfus grew up in Phoenixville, PA and attended Malvern Preparatory School.
Dr. Dollfus was voted by his peers to Philadelphia Magazines Top Dentists list for General Dentistry in 2021. In 2019, he was the recipient of the Dental Student Award from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
Continuing education has been and always will be an integral part of Dr. Dollfus career. He has completed advanced implant training with Bicon Dental Implants in Boston, MA and Cartagena, Colombia. He has also completed full mouth reconstruction and cadaver implant training with Zimmer Biomet in Parsippany, NJ. Dr. Dollfus is a certified Invisalign provider.

Was at chesterbrook Dental Associates ,and was attended by Doctor Robert Dollfus.Amazing experience I had, the place is immaculate, and the service is unbelievable, I am so excited I found this dentist ,the young lady who attended to me was so professional , she explained everything she was doing ,so I got so comfortable and forgot I was at the dentists,wonderful crew.

WOW. I had been dreading my dental appointment, after not going for 2 and a half years... and because of my superb treatment, it ended up a great experience! Holly, the dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth, did a phenomenal job. She was positive, kept me informed and built my trust so that I could relax throughout the cleaning. When Dr. Dollfus came in I felt immediately that I was in good hands and my needs were also respected. I walked out feeling so good about my newly cleaned teeth and the whole experience that I am almost excited to go back! Never thought I could feel that way about a dentist appointment. It's tough to describe just how head and shoulders above the rest of the market Chesterbrook is. There are plenty of great dentists out there, but very few that truly understand what Chesterbrook does: that a great experience goes well beyond just the time in the chair. Dr. Dollfus and the entire team, end-to-end, are some of the most kind, thoughtful, and of talented people around. I fly in from California just to come here.

chesterbrook dental is hands down the best dental office ive ever been to! receptionists are super friendly (as are the hygienists and dentists), helpful, and always have a great attitude. hygienists are gentle but thorough with their cleanings, and are great at answering any questions. dr. dollfus is fairly new to the practice i believe, but is absolutely awesome! couldn't ask for a better dentist. i also love how they send you text reminders before your appointments, especially since i schedule mine 6months in advance. if you hate the dentist (i used to, based off bad experiences), this place will change your mind!

I have been going to Chesterbrook Dental since I moved back to the area 4 years ago. The staff here is awesome. They are always happy and you can tell they actually enjoy what they do and working with each other. Recently had some cosmetic work done and it looks great and had a great experience! Would highly recommend!

This is an exceptional dental practice! I have been seeing Dr. Fitzgerald for many years. He is an excellent dentist and is always going to seminars to learn and stay abreast of current practices in dentistry. His work is fastidious and he is a perfectionist. He will work with you until you are 100% satisfied, making sure to fit you in as quickly as possible if a need arises. I cannot say enough good things about him!
