Dr. Wayand hails from the nearby city of Raleigh, NC. As the oldest of seven children, Dr. Wayand brings both an inherent experience in caring for others, as well as the ability to enjoy treating all ages. Dr. Wayand received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University and continued his career in higher education at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Since then, Dr. Wayand has lived in Atlanta, Philadelphia and now is happy to call Richmond his home. Dr. Wayand enjoys taking a thoughtfully planned and comprehensive approach to dentistry. His favorite skills to utilize at the office are esthetic cases where he can create a brighter, more aesthetically pleasing smile; as well as taking care of any large painful infections by endodontic procedures known more commonly as root canal therapy.

When hes not in the office, Dr. Wayand loves to go hiking with his black Labrador Murph and pug Liv, or cooking up a new recipe. He is happiest exploring the foodie scene in Richmond since he has an avid interest in trying all types of cuisine. He also has a passion for photography and painting, which were the two outlets that led him to explore his creative side through dentistry. Dr. Zheng grew up in Memphis, TN and received a bachelor of science degree in Biology from Christ Brothers University. Dr. Zheng attended Meharry School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN and graduated top of her class and was awarded the honor of becoming a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. To further her training, Dr. Zheng attended one year of post-graduate AEGD program with NYU Langone Health focusing on comprehensive dental care for the underserved community in TN. Following completion of her training, Dr. Zheng moved to VA to stay closer to family and since then has developed a special bond with this community.

Experienced in all phases of dentistry, Dr. Zheng has a special interest in oral surgery, restorative, prosthetics and is excited to provide a range of services to our patients. Dr. Zheng continuously seeks out professional development opportunities that allow her to stay abreast of the latest dental advancement and knowledgeable about new dental practices to ensure the highest level of patient care.
