Although our patients all know Dr. Kataria and appreciate his quiet professional competence, few may realize his extensive advanced training, specializations, teaching experience, and academic affiliations.
Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Kataria was selected for a one year fellowship in clinical pedodontics (children's dentistry) at the Murray and Leonie Guggenheim Dental Clinic in New York. He was subsequently chosen for a two-year postgraduate program in prosthodontics at the New York University School of Dentistry. He regularly updates his knowledge of all new procedures and materials through continuing education courses and seminars.

As the daughter and granddaughter of dentists, Dr. Rohini Bhatia has been surrounded by dentistry her whole life. After graduating from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Bhatia completed a one-year residency at Columbia University, followed by three years of specialty training in prosthodontics through a combined program between the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Hospital and New York University.
Dr. Bhatia attends numerous continuing education seminars and courses to stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of prosthodontics. She is also active in several professional organizations that provide the opportunity for continued education and study.
Originally from West Chester, Dr. Bhatia currently lives in Bryn Mawr with her husband, an oncologist at Thomas Jefferson University, and their two sons. Outside the office, Dr. Bhatia enjoys traveling with her family, reading, and practicing yoga.

With over 26 years of experience in dental hygiene, I joined Dr. Katarias office in 2013. As a periodontal co-therapist with the doctors, my duties include providing professional dental cleanings, oral cancer screenings, taking diagnostic dental radiographs, and teaching patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health. My favorite part of my job is the personal fulfillment I get by helping people maintain their oral health. I enjoy working in a practice where the needs of our patients are always our first priority.

Dr. Bhatia is very gentle and concerned with your overall comfort. She is very patient with her staff in making sure that they understand how to mix ingredients, take X-rays and just generally assist her with the overall care of her patients.

I just wanted to say thank you to Dr Bhatia. I was a new patient struggling how to solve my issues with grinding of my teeth. I found the Dr B online. Dr Bhatia is a great , her professionalism, preciseness and attention to detail was spectacular. Her staff made me feel comfortable. My new crowns are awesome as my smile. Dottie the oral hygienist was the best one I've ever had. First one to ever do an oral cancer screening as routine and educated me on things I should of known already. Dr Bhatia is outstanding and genuine and cares.

I am so happy with the care I receive here. Dr. Batia listens to and addresses all my concerns..... I'm not the bravest patient in the world, but the total atmosphere in the office is very calming. The office staff are helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

Dr. Rohini Bhatia has been my dentist/prosthodontist since the spring of 2017. I "discovered" her quite by chance. When I mentioned to my endodontist that my dentist at the time was recommending an extensive undertaking, he suggested that I seek a second opinion. Am I glad that I did! Dr. Bhatia suggested a treatment plan that seemed to make more sense and that I'm happy with. I consider myself a fearful patient when it comes to dentistry. Dr. Bhatia knows just what to say to try to make me feel comfortable in her office. I had to have all of my upper teeth extracted. Dr. Bhatia told me she'd be there when I woke up in the oral surgeon's office and she was. If you want details and explanations, she'll take as much time as needed to give them to you. If you want to know as little as possible, she's OK with that as well. If I have a long appointment, she stops to ask if I'm OK and if I want to take a break. Whenever I've sent Dr. Bhatia an email, she's gotten back to me within 24 hours. I don't know how she sticks to her patient schedule; there always seems to be enough time to tell her about my grandchildren, etc. Dottie, her dental hygienist, makes me laugh when she cleans my teeth. Peggy, her chair assistant, and Christina, her receptionist go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and Christina definitely knows how to deal with dental insurance companies. Dr. Bhatia's practice is like one-stop shopping. You can get your teeth cleaned, have a tooth filled, get an implant, or have a prosthesis made. I even decided to splurge and get my teeth whitened. I'm thrilled with the results. The bottom line is that if you're looking for a new dentist or a prosthodontist, you should seriously consider seeing Dr. Bhatia. She's knowledgeable, caring, personable, and easy to talk to. If you look at one of the walls in her waiting room, it's no wonder she has received a Dentist of the Year award for so many years.
