Keith Polizois, DMD FAGD grew up in northern New Jersey and received his undergraduate degree from Salisbury University. While playing football for the Seagulls, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with dual degrees in biology and chemistry. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
After dental school, Dr. Polizois completed a post-graduate General Practice Residency at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center and received extensive training in advanced dental procedures. Dr. Polizois was honored to have the opportunity to provide excellent services to improve the dental health of our veterans.
Dr. Polizois earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). This required over 500 hours of continuing education and a rigorous and comprehensive exam. Only about six percent of general dentists have their FAGD!
As dentistry is a field that is constantly evolving with new technology, materials, and techniques, he prides himself on being at the forefront of dental education in order to deliver excellent dental care. He is committed to providing the best possible treatment in a comfortable setting to each and every patient.
Most recently Polizois earned his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). This distinction is a reflection of training, education, and experience with dental implants.
Dr. Polizois lives in Annapolis with his wife, Stephanie, and their sons Camden and Luke. Stephanie is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.When not working, they enjoy an active lifestyle, which includes exploring local sites and being on the water with their Goldendoodle, Bruce. Dr. Polizois also likes to travel, read, and spend time with family and friends.

As someone who has an incredible amount of dental anxiety, I can say without any hesitation that this is the BEST dental office I've ever been to and that I could ever imagine! The entire staff puts you at ease immediately, they do not make you feel silly for any anxiety and the level of care and compassion is evident. Bringing a wealth of dental problems with me to my first visit, I was treated promptly and gently, to alleviate my pain. I've been back several times since and am so thrilled to recommend them to everyone I meet. Dr. Polizois, Karrie, Bridget, Evelyn...they are all amazing! I would give them 100 stars if I could.

I cannot say enough good things about Chesapeake Bay Dentistry! Not only are the practitioners skilled and the facilities lovely, but everyone I encountered was kind and compassionate and went out of their way to put me at ease. As an individual with an unusual medical history, choosing a new dentist can be very nerve-wracking, but Dr. Polizois really took the time to listen to my concerns and created a plan to not only achieve my goals, but with which I was comfortable. My dental work was performed painlessly and my smile looks so much better! He even took the time to personally phone me the next day to follow up and make sure I was doing well. I'm so glad I made the change to Chesapeake Bay Dentistry!

I'm a little late with this review, but better late than never! This doctor's office is one of the BEST i have ever been in, starting from front desk ladies rite back to the surgical chair! They ALL are SOOOO kind and caring. I have had horrible dental anxiety issues for a long time, I ended up with an emergency and they got me in that day as a new pt. I couldn't believe how great it went, Karrie and Dr Polizois were AMAZING! I'm so grateful to have found them!!! I'll be a patient forever! Thank you to the whole team.

I am blown away by Dr. Polozois and his staff. I called the emergency line at 7am on a Saturday morning. Dr. Polizois called me back, personally, 15 minutes later. He immediately called in my antibiotics and then called me BACK to tell me the order was placed. By Monday morning I needed an appointment and they got me in 2 hours later. I walked in, gave my name and was INSTANTLY taken to a room and instantly worked on. And did I mention how kind and professional and skilled everyone is? I've never had an experience like this at any medical or dental facility in my 60 years. Amazing.

I really enjoyed my first experience at Chesapeake Bay Dentistry and would highly recommend it to anyone. Scheduling an appointment was simple and there was no wait upon arrival. The office is very nice and easy to find. Dr. Polizois and his staff are very friendly, professional, and courteous. I will be back again soon!

If you need a FANTASTIC dentist then I highly recommend Dr. Polizois. I dread going to the dentist but since finding Dr. Polizois I have no apprehension or concern. I can now say I enjoy going because everyone at this practice is super nice and I know I will get the best care from Dr. Polizois. I recently had an excruciating toothache that was causing me so much pain that I could hardly get out of bed. I called my dentist and did not get a return call. My friend told me about her dentist and said, "he is really kind and really great .... just call him ... maybe he can see you". I was in so much pain I thought why not. I got an appointment for that same day. When I say I was blown away, this is an understatement. Dr. Polizois assessed my tooth and told me I would need a root canal. Talk about dread! Pain, time, and delayed treatment since I was sure I would have to go to another doctor's office for the root canal. Dr. Polizois asked if I wanted to do it now. I was stunned. Now? Can that be done? I have had two previous root canals and have never been able to do it the same day with my existing dentist. I immediately said yes and thanked Dr. Polizois for finding time to help me so quickly. Here comes the best part, like I said, I have had two other root canals, both of which required I go to a specialist. One procedure took two visits and the other one was somewhat painful and very uncomfortable. Dr. Polizois completed the root canal efficiently and WITHOUT ANY PAIN. That has never happened before. Dr. Polizois made sure I was completely comfortable at all times and did an amazing job. When I left his office, my toothache was gone and I felt like a normal person for the first time in 3 days (pain started on a Saturday of course). I have since transferred my children to Dr. Polizois. After my daughter's first visit she came out and immediately said, "that was so much better". My daughter was just as happy and surprised at what a pleasant experience she had at a dental appointment. I am almost 50 years old and have seen many dentists throughout my life. Some were very good, some were ok, Dr. Polizois is by far the BEST!!!

Keith and staff are just awesome! I live full time on a sailboat and found myself in transit between Georgia and Annapolis when a filling broke loose from a previous root canal. After pouring over many reviews from a variety of offices in the area, I settled on these folks and am very glad I did. I have some recently developed anxiety of dental work from an earlier procedure gone awry. When I called I explained my situation, the staff was super understanding and accommodating for my need of "better living through modern chemistry." Keith has a natural zen about him, and it seems to carry over to everyone else there. Great group, highly recommend.

If you have any dental fears or anxiety, Dr. Polizois and his amazing staff will change your life (trust me, I know!)! They are incredibly kind, patient, and thorough and will make you feel so comfortable. If you are looking for a new dental office, give them a call.

Dr. Polizois is super friendly and kind. I have had a lot of dental work and he far exceeds any dentist I have ever seen. Thank you for taking the time to explain and encourage me through two fillings today! If you are looking for a new dentist look no further he is your guy!
